I go towards the front door. As soon as its handle leaves my hand Danzo's head gets instantly turned into paste by one of Hinata's arrows. The body is immediately sealed away and I begin running towards Konoha's walls. Hinata and Sakura do not waste time, appearing beside me swiftly.
We didn't use explosive arrows, so we should have some time before anyone realises what has happened. When we reach the outer wall we use the hiding like a mole jutsu to get underneath it and leave without breaking it. As soon as we've exited I can hear the village's alarm sounding. Ten kilometers away from Konoha we encounter an unexpected windfall, a lot of rain. This should wash away our scent, making tracking us much more difficult
Hinata's byakugan lets us avoid any patrols on our way out, her superior range allowing us to evade even patrols with a Hyuga. The farther we get from Konoha itself the less patrols there are to avoid. Halfway through the journey we all take soldier pills, we cannot afford the time to camp and sleep. Patrols become much more numerous once we reach the border.
Burrowing underneath allows us to avoid some of them, Hinata's byakugan allows us to avoid the Hyuga that would give us away. Once we get past the border between Konoha and The Land Of Rice we all breathe a sigh of relief.
Entering The Land of Earth proves itself much easier, the lack of byakugan making this infiltration considerably simpler than leaving The Land of Fire. After we get past the border we rush in a straight line towards the location of our hideout, with Hinata having us take some detours to avoid detection.
We soon manage to reach our hideout. This has gone much better than I thought it would, we didn't get tagged by anyone at any point, so we should be good for a while. Once we enter inside of it Sakura and Hinata immediately go to sleep, I am taking the first watch. Hinata will come after me and Sakura will take the last watch.
—
I enter the 'living room' of our hideout. Inside I find Hinata sitting on the floor, drinking tea, and Hirogi with the sisters preparing some sort of stew.
I sit down on the floor next to Hinata. "Morning, is Sakura up yet?"
She shakes her head "Good Morning. Sakura is still sleeping."
Karari brings me some tea, I take a sip of it. "Let's wait for her to wake up before we discuss our next moves then."
Hinata nods. We spend the rest of the time until Sakura arrives in comfortable silence, neither of us having anything to say for now. It does not take long for Sakura to enter. After exchanging pleasantries she sits down in front of the two of us.
I sip my tea "So what do we do now? The gathering to take down Akatsuki will be destroyed as soon as they get into Amegakure, so we should take that into consideration for any plans we have."
Sakura takes her coffee from Hirogi "I need to spend some time experimenting with those Hashirama cells we got, and to do that I'm going to need some test subjects. I won't be implanting them into either of you until I have a better idea of how they work."
Hinata gulps, then she sighs "Capturing shinobi would be too risky, we would inevitably create a lead towards our location. Kidnapping those who wouldn't be missed by anyone would be a better choice."
I rub my chin "You mean orphans and the like? That would be much better than kidnapping shinobi. If shinobi begin to go missing a manhunt will start, but if some prostitute and her kids went missing people would just assume her pimp got tired of her or something."
Sakura nods "That would be for the best. Each of us is strong right now but we are still vulnerable to getting ambushed. We have to choose and pick our battles very carefully."
I nod "Agreed. Now, before I forget", I point at everyone, Hirogi and the sisters included "You are all under Kotoamatsukami!"
Sakura shakes her head "Nope, you're the one under Kotoamatsukami!"
Hinata looks at Hirogi, Kurari and Karari. They all quickly shake their heads in denial. And with that we're now sure none of us got themselves mind-raped.
I finish my tea, motioning for a refill "Alright. After Sakura gets the Hashirama cells all figured out, what are we going to do then? What's our next target?"
Hinata starts tapping her finger on her leg "If we want to prevent Kaguya's revival then the simplest option would be to make one of the Bijuu completely unavailable for capture. The simplest method would be to use Edo Tensei on Itachi, seal one of the jinchuriki and their tailed beast inside of The Sword of Totsuka and then destroy all traces of Itachi's DNA. What truly bothers me is what could have caused Pain to decide to change his plan?"
I sigh "That's the million Ryo question isn't it? The answer most likely is that something happened to change his mind. He either had a falling out with Obito or something happened to the Gedo statue."
Sakura shrugs "It would be safe to assume he does not plan to use the tailed beasts anymore. We don't really care about what the Akatsuki do in this case. We need to come up with a plan to kill Obito. His offense isn't nearly as much of a problem as much as his defense is. Sasuke landing an Amaterasu on him when he is tangible might be the only thing we can do that can actually hurt him."
I nod "Obito is a pain in the ass. He has a ridiculous amount of sharingan stocked up, so he can just spam izanagi without any care in the world. Any killing blow must come as a surprise he cannot react to. We either kill him instantly like we did with Danzo or he'll just goes intangible and fucks off."
Hinata sips her tea "Killing Obito is not something we can initiate at our leisure. Simply sealing a tailed beast away as Sakura proposed would be much simpler than fighting him. Afterwards the infinite tsukuyomi plan becomes impossible to enact."
Sakura nods "After I implant all of us with the Hashirama cells we can hunt for Orochimaru. He provides us with the easiest way to learn the edo tensei. Sasuke just needs to see him use the jutsu and he'll have copied it."
I rub my chin "As we are right now that's impossible to achieve. Let's table any discussions for after we get implanted. Then we'll have a much better understanding of what we can achieve. We should first spend some time laying low before we go to kidnap anyone, around two weeks should be more than enough."
Hinata and Sakura both nod. Seeing that our discussion is over, Hirogi proceeds to bring us the finished vegetable stew.
