Chapter 82 - Beyond-Universal Power, Learning the Mirror Dimension with a Single Glance!

"The Book of Vishanti is the most precious treasure of Kamar-Taj..." Stephen's expression was conflicted, his face filled with hesitation. Logically, it was impossible for the book to be loaned out.

Wong stood to the side, silent and unmoving.

"If you want my help, there must be a price," Cassius's lips curled into a smirk, his tone utterly matter-of-fact.

He was very interested in the Mirror Dimension magic in the Book of Vishanti. This was a power that could allow him to enter a separate dimension that didn't affect reality. More importantly, everything within that dimension moved according to his will. This was exactly the kind of ability he was missing.

He hadn't been able to test his own power to the fullest. With the Mirror Dimension, he wouldn't have to hold back against his enemies. For example, when he fought against Agatha, he had to suppress the Phoenix Force because there were too many civilians nearby. He had no desire to destroy people's homes for fun.

One must know, his current power was beyond-universal. If he were to fight all out, he could shatter the planet beneath his feet!

"Absolutely not. The Book of Vishanti will not be lent to you!" Mordo's brows were tightly furrowed. He made a gesture to leave. "Mr. Cassius, please go back!"

He didn't believe for a second that this young man had any significant power. He had never even heard of a man named Cassius before. To ask to see the Book of Vishanti was pure fantasy.

"You're not the one in charge." Watching the man's incessant chirping, Cassius's brow furrowed slightly.

"You!" Mordo gritted his teeth, glaring at Cassius with a hostile expression. But he knew Cassius was right; he wasn't the one in charge here.

"What's the point of looking at me? Am I not speaking the truth?" Cassius said, slowly shifting his gaze to Wong.

"Stephen..." Wong looked at Stephen, his face torn. He knew Cassius was powerful and might be able to help them solve this problem. With their current strength, it would be very difficult to face Dormammu.

Whoosh!

A sound like a page turning was heard. The glass doors of the temple opened like pages of a book, revealing several figures walking in without haste. In the middle was a tall, skinny man with black, shattered-looking rings around his eyes. He slowly walked in, looked at the people present, and smiled.

"I didn't expect you to be here, Wong!" Kaecilius grinned, his eyes fixed on Wong.

"Kaecilius! You've come!" Baron Mordo's expression became serious, a golden aura flashing around his fists. His eyes were filled with vigilance, as this man was once the star pupil of the Ancient One, and very powerful.

"I just came back to take a look, and to get rid of some garbage." Kaecilius had his hands behind his back. Facing Baron Mordo's vigilance, his expression was completely calm.

"You damned traitor! It's a shame the Ancient One ever brought you here!" Wong rarely said such harsh words, his eyes filled with rage. This traitor was helping Dormammu for his own selfish gain!

"Traitor?" Kaecilius spread his arms and laughed loudly. "It is you who are deluded!" As long as he pleased Dormammu, he would be granted eternal life!

"Why are his dark circles so bad? Is he suffering from excessive indulgence?" Cassius suddenly blurted out. He looked even worse than he did in the movie. The black rings around his eyes looked like shattered fragments. To be precise, they were the imprints left on him by the dark magic he practiced.

Kaecilius was once a student of the Ancient One, and he was considered the most gifted among all her pupils. But he later betrayed her and joined the "Dark Dimension" master, Dormammu, even becoming this inhuman monster.

While his past was tragic, the long period of torment had made him twisted. He was here to destroy the Sanctums and release Dormammu into reality.

Upon hearing the comment, Kaecilius finally noticed Cassius's presence. When did this person get there? He had just scanned the room when he entered. He had only noticed Mordo, Wong, and Stephen.

Where did this person come from? He didn't think too much about it and slowly got into position. A transparent magical sword slowly appeared in his hands.

"Kill them!" Kaecilius had no intention of wasting time. The others immediately scattered, charging at their targets. They all held transparent magical swords, which, at first glance, looked like space was twisting.

"Who are you?" Kaecilius saw that Wong and Mordo were being held up by his people and focused his attention on Doctor Strange.

"Stephen Strange!" Although he saw Kaecilius walking toward him, Stephen gritted his teeth and conjured a magical shield. "You can also call me Doctor!"

"Stephen?" Kaecilius hadn't seen Stephen before, but he had heard about him. So he quickly ran up the wall and leaped at Stephen. It was a joyous thing to kill a genius!

"Damn it!" Stephen was about to fight, but the next second, his shield flickered twice and disappeared. In this critical moment, he could only conjure a magical whip that crackled between his hands.

As the blurry magical sword came toward him, Stephen could only pull on his whip, forcefully using it to block Kaecilius's attack. But they were on completely different levels. He was kicked away after only two exchanges.

Seeing Kaecilius getting closer, Stephen could only grit his teeth and get up to continue fighting.

The others weren't faring much better. Mordo was surrounded by three people, whose teamwork was perfect. He couldn't deal with so many people at once. He was being beaten back relentlessly!

Bang! Whoosh~

With a sharp clang, one of the magical swords slammed into Mordo's shield. Mordo's eyes flashed with delight, and he instantly conjured a magical whip in his right hand.

Pa, pa, pa... He nimbly whipped the man in front of him away. At the same time, he took several steps back, whipping his magical whip around. The golden light that swirled around him forced his enemies to retreat.

"Hah!" The magical whip spun in the air with a hum and slammed into one of the men. With a single strike, the man was hit with such force that he was embedded in the wooden floor.

"Good... one down, now..." Mordo let out a sigh of relief. As long as he could take out one of them, the pressure would be significantly reduced.

Whoosh!

But as he let his guard down, a loud noise suddenly came from behind him. He quickly turned his head to see a man leaping high into the air, with a magical spear in his hands. At this distance, he had no way to dodge!

I'm done for!

Mordo's pupils contracted rapidly.

"Get lost!" In the nick of time, Wong grabbed the man in front of him and flung him with all his might. This action also sent the enemy behind Mordo flying. Because he was thrown, the spear was deflected. It grazed Mordo's waist and slammed into the ground with a bang.

Boom!

The ground cracked, and the wooden floorboards flew up, sending splinters everywhere. The shaft of the spear shook, vibrating with a hum as dust filled the air.

"Mordo, watch out for three o'clock!" Wong was about to warn him, but a shimmering Inter-Dimensional Portal opened behind him. His pupils contracted rapidly as a man rushed out of the portal and tackled him.

The two of them tumbled down the stairs. The impact was so painful that Wong let out a cry of pain. These guys were not easy to deal with; they were once students here. He hadn't expected them to betray the Ancient One and join the dark side with Kaecilius.

He quickly got up, and despite his large build, he moved with remarkable agility. His golden-glowing shield sent two of the men flying. But even so, the others instantly surrounded Wong.

Meanwhile, Stephen was in the worst state. He was running down the hallway of the Sanctum. After creating a bit of distance, he clasped his hands together and quickly cast a spell, and a fiery red light flickered in his hands.

This corridor was the perfect place for a fire spell. But just as he was about to unleash it, Kaecilius quickly appeared in front of him. With a single swing of his sword, he interrupted Stephen's spell.

"Damn it! What is wrong with this guy?!" Stephen couldn't help but curse. Kaecilius was incredibly powerful and hadn't even used any spells. He had just used his magical sword to constantly pressure him.

Stephen barely dodged the attack. He wrapped his magical whips around the magical sword, trying to disarm him. But before he could even react, he was kicked away.

"I can't beat this guy!" Stephen gritted his teeth, got up, and ran toward the inner sanctum. He had to stall Kaecilius. As long as Wong took care of the others, he would surely come to his aid.

Kaecilius looked at the fleeing Stephen, a sarcastic smile on his face. He stretched out his right hand, pulled it back, and spun his arm clockwise. The walls on both sides of the corridor began to break and twist. The floor tiles under Stephen's feet began to slide backward like a treadmill, dragging him back toward Kaecilius!

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" Stephen's scalp was about to explode. He ran forward with all his might, but his body was still being pulled toward Kaecilius.

"So, this is the Mirror Dimension!" Floating behind Kaecilius the whole time, Cassius saw this and couldn't help but nod in admiration. This spell was incredibly useful. Although there were many dark spells that could alter reality, they were very different from the Mirror Dimension.

"Cassius! Help me!" Stephen screamed as he ran, turning his head back. He was shocked to see Cassius floating behind Kaecilius the whole time. What was even more unbelievable was that Kaecilius seemed completely oblivious to his presence.

He couldn't understand why no one else had bothered to attack Cassius. It was as if Cassius was invisible. This scene was too strange!

"Don't worry." With a flash, Cassius appeared on the edge of the Mirror Dimension and studied the space carefully. He was clearly standing in front of and to the right of Kaecilius, but Kaecilius didn't seem to see him.

When Kaecilius first appeared, Cassius had immediately used his psychic powers to make everyone subconsciously ignore him and not even be aware of his presence.

"Help me, please!" Stephen shouted, forgetting his pride. This guy was just watching the show!

"Watch out behind you." Cassius waved his hand without turning his head, carefully studying his surroundings while not forgetting to warn Stephen.

Whoosh!

Stephen's hairs stood on end, and he quickly dodged. The magical sword barely missed him. In other words, if Cassius hadn't warned him, he would have lost a kidney.

"Fuck!" Stephen cursed, reaching out his right hand and using a space spell. The room twisted like a pretzel, and his angle was suddenly flipped to the ceiling. Because of the rapidly receding floor, he had managed to avoid Kaecilius.

Phe... Before Stephen could let out a sigh of relief, he saw Kaecilius calmly spread his hands. With a ripple in the air, he widened his eyes. This was clearly a space-folding spell!

He immediately turned his head and his pupils contracted rapidly, before slamming into the folded space. He was thrown hard to the ground. He felt like his life was flashing before his eyes. He almost coughed up blood.

Whoosh!

Before he could get up, a buzzing sound made his scalp tingle! He rolled to the side, dodging the magical sword that came straight down.

Just as he was about to get up, Kaecilius was already in front of him. The blurry magical sword came straight at Stephen. Stephen gritted his teeth, but his shields weren't solidified in time, and the sword was already in front of him! His pupils contracted into a slit.

"Stephen!" Wong saw this and shouted in a panic. But it was too late to help! Mordo could only watch what was about to happen.

Swoosh!

In this moment of crisis, the entire space twisted and folded. A transparent plane of objects was forcefully formed between the two, instantly separating them. Not only that, but the corridor also began to twist and rotate.

"Space magic?!" Stephen got up from the ground, looking at Kaecilius above him with disbelief. He and Kaecilius were now separated by a flat plane. This was clearly the Mirror Dimension!

His mind was buzzing. He couldn't understand what was happening. He subconsciously looked around, thinking the Ancient One had arrived. But when he turned his head, his expression froze.

He saw a person floating in the air, his hands glowing with a faint golden light. Everything around him was twisting and rotating. It was as if pages of a book were flipping. The walls and windows were rapidly changing, twisting, and rotating!

Everyone who saw this scene was stunned.

"The one using this spell... is Cassius?!" Stephen's eyes widened. How did he learn this?! Could it be...

He suddenly remembered that this guy hadn't done anything the whole time! He was just observing the Mirror Dimension! And now, he had even learned how to use it!
