Chapter 83 - God of Man, Tearing a Follower Apart by Hand, Shattering the Mirror Dimension with a Punch!

"What on earth is going on?!" Mordo's eyes were wide. He couldn't wrap his head around how this person could use the Mirror Dimension. If he really had just learned it, he was a magical prodigy of a caliber not seen in centuries. He had thought Cassius was completely useless, but he had been proven wrong so quickly.

"Get out of here!" Wong's body surged with power, and his right hand's light shield sent the last enemy flying with a single punch. Just as he was anxiously about to check on Stephen, he saw this scene.

"This... this guy's talent is terrifying!" He had seen Cassius demonstrate his abilities before, but he had assumed he needed books or scrolls. Judging from what just happened, he had figured out how to cast the Mirror Dimension just by watching someone use it once! This kind of talent was unheard of!

It was incredibly difficult to learn a spell just by watching someone else cast it. Even the simplest spells were hard to learn that way. Yet Cassius had not only done it, but he had done it in just three tries.

"Is this guy... a student of the Ancient One?" From above, Kaecilius frowned, his eyes studying Cassius with a confused expression.

He remembered never seeing or even hearing of this person. Yet this man could use the Mirror Dimension, which wasn't right at all!

He also just realized that he had completely ignored this person until now. If Cassius hadn't cast the Mirror Dimension, he might not have noticed him at all.

"The Mirror Dimension... is this all there is to it? It's not very strong." Cassius looked at his hands and muttered to himself. As he observed the Mirror Dimension, he felt a flash of inspiration, and he understood how the spell was cast. However, it was much weaker than he had imagined.

But he wasn't too disappointed; after all, the Book of Vishanti contained only white magic and defensive spells. The spells within it were mainly for defense, not offense. So the Mirror Dimension was just for protecting himself and his surroundings.

"This guy..." Wong and the others were speechless when they heard him. They had spent countless hours just to barely get a handle on the Mirror Dimension. Now, Cassius had understood the core concepts just by watching it once. And from his every move, it was clear that he could already operate the Mirror Dimension with skill.

"Who exactly are you?" Kaecilius looked at the figure floating in the air, his brow furrowed as he asked. This person's appearance was too bizarre. With his power, he shouldn't have overlooked anyone, but it happened.

"Did you stay up too late, and now your eyesight is bad?" Cassius raised his head, his eyes meeting Kaecilius's. A subtle, mocking smile played on his lips.

Kaecilius's expression soured. Cassius's carefree attitude was a complete insult to him. Although he didn't know how this young man had done it, there was no fear in his eyes. Even if he had mastered the Mirror Dimension, it was still far from the power of dark magic!

"Young man, you shouldn't be involved in a fight that doesn't concern you." Kaecilius's right hand swiped, and the air around his magical sword twisted.

The next moment, he leaped up, and the entire Mirror Dimension shifted. He moved as if gravity no longer existed, and in an instant, he was in front of Cassius. A twisted grin appeared on his face. Although he didn't know who this person was, his talent was too great. He couldn't let him grow any stronger.

"Watch your manners!" Cassius rolled his eyes when he saw the leaping Kaecilius. With a simple flick of his finger, Kaecilius was sent flying like a discus, slamming into the spinning walls of the Mirror Dimension!

"You're so weak, yet you dare to strike me?" Cassius looked at the enemies in front of him with disdain, as if they were nothing more than annoying bugs. He genuinely felt that these guys were pathetically weak. If he didn't want to learn more spells, he would have sent them all to hell already.

"Damn it!" Kaecilius struggled to his feet and gave an order to his followers.

With the command, the four men split into two on either side and rushed toward Cassius. Their hands were glowing, and the next moment, they all conjured magical whips. The moment they surrounded Cassius, the whips lashed out at his hands and feet.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh... The four magical whips wrapped around Cassius's limbs with a whooshing sound. With a simultaneous pull, Cassius was lifted into the air as if he were about to be torn apart.

"Go and help him now!" Mordo's pupils contracted. He was about to rush forward, but Wong stopped him.

"Don't be so rash!" Wong had noticed the smile on Cassius's face. Although he didn't know what Cassius's trump card was, Wong was sure that a man the Ancient One had high hopes for would not be defeated by these guys.

"Bolts of Balthakk!" Kaecilius seized the opportunity. A purple lightning bolt crackled between his hands. He leaped high into the air and hurled it at the bound Cassius. The dazzling lightning shot out from his palms.

It was like a dark purple dragon roaring as it charged at Cassius! When the lightning flew toward Cassius, the air around it cracked, tearing into another dimension!

"Cassius!" Stephen's eyes widened, and he broke into a cold sweat.

Cassius smiled and tilted his head to look at the four men. With just a look, the four men felt a sense of dread. The next moment, a tremendous force shot up through the whips in their hands. Cassius gave a single tug, and the four whips holding his limbs were shattered by the force.

In a flash of lightning, he raised his hand and caught the dark purple lightning bolt, which turned to dust and dissipated!

Stephen and the others were stunned. If they hadn't been mistaken, Cassius had just caught the Bolts of Balthakk with one hand!

"This is insane. What kind of monster is this young man?!" Wong's voice was now trembling. Although he could also catch the Bolts of Balthakk, he couldn't do it so easily. Furthermore, not only did he block the lightning, but he also shattered the four magical whips. All of this had deeply shaken his world.

Not far away, Mordo's eyes were practically bulging out of his head. He knew how terrifying Kaecilius's power was, but his full-force attack had been so casually dealt with by Cassius. At this moment, he finally understood why Stephen and Wong had said this person was extraordinarily powerful!

"This one looks pretty good!" Just then, Cassius's lips curled up. He raised his hands and made the exact same gesture Kaecilius had just made. When Kaecilius saw this, his face changed drastically. He had a vague idea of what Cassius was thinking.

"No! That's impossible!" He tried to calm himself down, telling himself that it was impossible to learn the Bolts of Balthakk without a book. But the next second, a lightning bolt flashed in Cassius's palm.

Kaecilius's eyes widened, and fear spread through him. He couldn't understand how this was possible! It was completely different from what he had imagined! He had only watched it once! He had spent more than half a year to learn the Bolts of Balthakk!

What terrified him more was that the power in the Bolts of Balthakk that Cassius released was far greater than his! Kaecilius didn't even have time to react before he was engulfed by the lightning and sent flying.

"He actually learned it!" Stephen looked at Cassius, his eyes filled with a whirlwind of emotions. He didn't know how Cassius had learned it! He had only watched it once! Just a glance and he learned it?!

Wong had expected Cassius to retaliate, but he had never thought that Cassius would use the same spell against him. He could clearly feel that the Bolts of Balthakk that Cassius had released was far more powerful than Kaecilius's!

"This is... impossible!!!" Mordo was both shocked and ashamed. A person with this kind of talent... was unheard of. He had seen countless gifted people, but he had never seen a monster like Cassius! Just a single glance, and he had learned the spell!

"Cough, cough, cough!" Kaecilius weakly got up from the ground. Parts of his body were scorched black. He looked at Cassius with a face full of fury. He couldn't understand how this was possible.

"Do you have any more interesting little tricks? Why don't you show me?" Cassius narrowed his eyes, his lips curled in a lazy smirk. He wasn't in a hurry to get rid of Kaecilius. After all, he might be able to learn more interesting things. It was a lot faster than reading a book!

"Damn you!" Kaecilius got up like a madman. The black circles around his eyes became even darker. He fiercely swiped his hands through the air and pulled. The Sanctum was suddenly ripped in half!

Everything around them began to change rapidly. The next moment, they were standing on a busy street in a bustling city. What was even more shocking was that a mirror image of the city was inverted above their heads!

"The Mirror Dimension!" Stephen's face was grim. Although he could use the Mirror Dimension as well, he was nowhere near as skilled as Kaecilius. Even though Cassius had learned it, he didn't think he would be better than Kaecilius at the small details. This terrain was a huge advantage for Kaecilius!

"Kill them!" Kaecilius roared, waving his right hand. His followers charged forward, conjuring various weapons in their hands as they rushed toward Cassius.

"Going around in circles like this is getting boring." Cassius shook his head. He had hoped for some new tricks, but they were still using the same one. He was about to raise his right hand and erase them all.

Whoosh!

A golden flash streaked past, and the Ancient One appeared in front of them. She was wearing her yellow robes, and her eyes were calm and cold. She slowly raised her left hand, and with a single clench of her three fingers, the entire world twisted and turned, as if a collapsing building. The followers began to fall to the ground. When they hit the ground, they let out painful screams.

"Master!" Stephen and the others were about to rush forward, but a treacherous path split them apart.

"Hypocrite!" Kaecilius cursed when he saw the Ancient One. His followers got up, conjured their whips, and lashed out at the Ancient One. But when the whips touched her, they not only failed to hurt her, they exploded.

Kaecilius gritted his teeth, conjured a magical sword, and charged at the Ancient One. He swung his sword from the bottom up!

Although his attack was fast, the Ancient One effortlessly dodged his attacks. At the same time, her right hand continued to cast spells. The buildings in the Mirror Dimension became a giant crusher, engulfing Kaecilius's followers. All that could be heard was the crunching and their screams.

But then, a ball of light suddenly appeared in Kaecilius's right hand. The ball of light brought a strong gust of wind with it, which blew directly at the Ancient One's face. The gust of wind blew her hood back, revealing a red mark on her forehead.

When this happened, Stephen and the others were stunned. They immediately recognized it! It was Dormammu's mark! They had never imagined that the Sorcerer Supreme used the power of dark magic!

"Master... what is this..." Stephen said, his voice trembling in disbelief.

"I... have used Dormammu's power!" Although the Ancient One's voice was calm, a shadow was cast on the hearts of the three men. They had always thought that the Ancient One only used the spells of the Vishanti. But she had used dark magic. This left them in a state of turmoil.

Kaecilius seized the moment of the Ancient One's distraction, and a cruel glint flashed in his eyes. He lowered his body, and a magical sword appeared in his left hand. He plunged it into the Ancient One's stomach.

"Ancient One!" Cassius saw this and flew toward her. But the next second, a gust of wind appeared out of nowhere in front of him!

"This old monk wants to die..." Cassius knew that the wind was created by the Ancient One. He looked at her meaningful expression, his brow slightly furrowed.

The next second, the blade in Kaecilius's hand went straight through the Ancient One's abdomen.

"I actually did it!" Even Kaecilius himself couldn't believe he had succeeded. It was unbelievable. He saw Stephen and the others rushing toward them, but he didn't press his advantage. Instead, he opened an Inter-Dimensional Portal and let his followers escape.

"Master!" Stephen rushed forward and caught the Ancient One. His face was panicked, and he tried to stop the bleeding.

Mordo and Wong looked at the scene, their expressions a mixture of feelings. The Dormammu mark and everything that had just happened had left their minds blank.

"You're not getting away!" Stephen roared, as he saw Kaecilius about to escape. The buildings around them rushed toward Kaecilius. But Kaecilius simply moved another building to block them. Stephen and the others could only watch as Kaecilius was about to escape.

"Step back." Cassius stood in front of them, raised his right hand, and with a single punch, shattered the Mirror Dimension. In an instant, a terrifying power burst forth!

The immense force made the bustling city collapse instantly! The buildings, streets, and roads shattered like pieces of broken glass.
