Upon hearing this, the corners of Aaron's mouth twitched.
Sanction me with an artifact?
Is there an Athena's scepter on this Earth or something?
In the battle of the Elysian Fields, Athena and the Pegasus Saint had managed to harm his true body. In his desperation, the Elysian Fields collapsed, and all the worlds he had created had been destroyed because of those two ignorant beings.
"Sanction my master with an artifact?"
Dalamandis was furious. Someone wanted to sanction his master? This HYDRA couldn't be allowed to exist!
He prepared to crush Zola's soul completely, but Aaron stopped him.
"Go on. What are the artifacts recorded in the Red Skull's book?"
Aaron's interest was growing. This world was not as boring as he thought. Whether it was the disruptive forces from all sides or the so-called gods of this world, to Aaron, it was all a rare source of entertainment.
"I don't know. We don't even know where the Red Skull's book is! But the great HYDRA will find these artifacts and punish you!"
Even under Aaron's control, Zola's obsession with HYDRA could not be dispelled.
"Interesting..."
With that, Aaron released his control. Zola's soul, which had been exposed, was not like the soul of the Ancient One, who had a deep understanding of such spells. In a few minutes, this filthy soul would be gone.
"..."
"Hail HYDRA! Hail HYDRA! HYDRA will punish you, demon!" After a final howl, Zola's soul finally dissipated.
"My lord! HYDRA is threatening you..."
"It's fine. It's boring anyway. It's better to wait for them to come find me..."
Aaron was completely unconcerned, as if these HYDRA thugs were nothing to him. Zola's disappearance didn't cause much of a stir within HYDRA; in fact, it only eliminated a competitor. To Mordok of Pioneer Technology and Madam Hydra, Zola was merely a tool, and its purpose was to uncover all the Red Skull's secrets. It was a shame that Zola's army of robots would now remain dormant in the hands of the dead Zola.
Stark Tower
On the top floor of Stark Tower, Tony had just finished his battle with Obadiah Stane, the Iron Monger. Now in complete control of Stark Industries, he was currently calibrating a new palladium arc reactor.
Tony wore a white top, with a device meticulously scanning his body from behind. His collection of red and gold armor was arranged not far away. The research data for the latest Mark armor was displayed on a screen in front of him.
"This new armor will add more firepower and energy elements based on the previous battle data..."
Tony looked back. "J.A.R.V.I.S., check my body's data."
"Yes, sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. responded. "Based on your current data, your body has reached its limit. If you don't continue treatment, even the palladium won't be able to sustain your life."
"Hmm, I see..." Tony nodded, grabbing a hamburger from a nearby table. "Don't tell Pepa about this. I'll handle it myself."
"Understood, sir."
Who would have guessed that Iron Man, Tony Stark, was currently on a dead-end path? Without proper treatment, Iron Man might soon be nothing more than a pile of scrap metal.
Tony suddenly asked, "J.A.R.V.I.S., is there a good surgeon who can remove the shrapnel from my chest?"
"Yes, sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. replied. After searching the internet, it pinpointed a potential candidate. "There is a doctor named Strange who may be able to resolve your physical condition. Sir, would you like me to make an appointment?"
Tony put on his clothes and glanced at the latest Mark armor data on the table, then shook his head. "Not right now. I heard there's an interesting painter in Manhattan lately? Even that black bastard Fury thinks he's tricky."
"You mean Aaron, sir?" J.A.R.V.I.S. projected a video of Aaron. The footage showed Aaron in the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters. In the video, Aaron was floating in the air, and strange images were appearing out of thin air.
"A superhuman?"
Tony saw the man in the video: a composed face with a faint British look, but pale skin and blue eyes.
"According to the news, this person opened a gallery in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen, near Thirty-third Street," J.A.R.V.I.S. explained.
The response reminded Tony of Fury's proposal for a "superhero team."
"That's interesting," Tony thought. "I wonder if I were to join this team, would this young man named Aaron agree to join me?"
"J.A.R.V.I.S., book me an appointment at this gallery. I want to see this for myself."
"Understood, sir."
