Chapter 5 - Chapter — 5 : The War Room Briefing

As Lady Seraphina Vale stepped through the massive iron gate, the atmosphere inside the room shifted instantly — as if the air itself straightened its posture in respect.

Her boots echoed rhythmically on the floor — each step sounding like a silent proclamation.

All heads turned toward her.

But no one spoke.

This was no ordinary war room.

This was:

The Hidden Command Chamber

The central nerve of the Allied Temporal Resistance.

A place where those chosen by time were crafting the most dangerous strategies against the might of Zargan's empire.

This chamber was built beneath the ruins of what was once a glorious empire —

Underneath Elvaran Citadel — once the beating, flying heart of the Elarian Empire, known for its sky cities, cloud docks, and vertical air fleets.

Zargan had turned it to ashes six years ago.

But the soul of that empire still lived here — in the form of the Resistance.

And above the chamber, on the first floor gallery, sat four figures who were still shaping the fight against Zargan:

General Volkran — The Ice-Blooded Strategist

Former Supreme Commander of the Elarian Empire. Now, Military Chief of the Resistance.

Chiseled jaw, eyes like frozen steel, and grey streaks.

To him, mercy was a weakness.

"A soldier who questions, never wins."

Commander Helza — The Ghost Blade

Head Assassin of the Nyveth Dominion — a kingdom known for shadow warfare.

Zargan executed their ruler publicly.

Since then, Helza barely speaks. She lets her blade do the talking.

"Before I stop a target's breath, I stop their thoughts."

Marshal Ronan — The Desert Storm

Ex-Warlord of the Braetok Union.

Fought Zargan in open battlefield — lost, but never surrendered.

His body bore scars like medals. His voice didn't shout. It commanded.

"I don't like plans. I like results."

Chief Grivon — The Eyes Without Emotion

The intelligence master of the fallen Orthalis Federation.

Zargan turned their own AI surveillance system against them.

But Grivon still secretly fed Resistance with info through backdoors.

"Information is like poison or nectar — depends on whose hands it's in."

🌍 The Surviving Nations — Few, But Fierce

Zephyria — The Kingdom Above the Clouds

A remote mountain nation. Snow-covered ridges lined with anti-air batteries. Natural wind tunnels destabilize enemy aircraft.

They wield Eon Cannons that can vaporize Zargan's airships mid-air.

▪️ Status: Provides aerial intel and long-range comms to Resistance.

▪️ Why Zargan avoids them: High losses, suicidal airspace.

Teralis Confederation — The Ocean's Shield

A coastal island nation with fortress-like militarized islands.

Tide Class Destroyers excel at underwater cloaking.

▪️ Status: Secures sea routes and supplies weapons to Resistance.

▪️ Why Zargan avoids them: Naval blockade could destroy his supply chain.

Eastern Qin Sovereignty — The Digital Front

Tech-advanced but politically fractured.

Houses are divided: one neutral, one supports Resistance, one funds both sides.

▪️ Status: Provides satellite surveillance and code tools.

▪️ Why Zargan avoids them: AI retaliation is unpredictable.

Kingdom of Solmere — The Sand Warden

Desert kingdom where terrain is the real weapon.

Minimal gear warriors, expert in magnetic sandstorms, canyon traps, and ambushes.

▪️ Status: Guerrilla training and smuggled weapons.

▪️ Why Zargan avoids them: His tech fails. His soldiers vanish.

Together, these nations can only resist Zargan for 1–2 months. Alone, they will fall.

Zargan hasn't attacked yet — not because he can't, but because he's planning something worse.

A strike that could destroy them all without firing a shot.

And that's why they fund the Allied Temporal Resistance.

Clash of Auras — A Silent Misunderstanding

Deadly silence filled the room…

Up above — on a semi-circular gallery platform — sat the four top Resistance commanders.

Their aura wasn't just strong… it was lethal.

Volkran. Helza. Ronan. Grivon.

Their eyes held power, judgment, and a silence sharper than any blade.

Below, right in the center spotlight, stood Miss Seraphina Vale — facing them directly.

Her face showed no expression. But inside… Ransoku, trapped in her body, was terrified.

Ransoku (internal monologue of fear, guilt, overthinking)

"They're not even acknowledging me… but their eyes? Like they'll shoot me at the slightest wrong word."

"Did my attitude offend them? Why did I walk in so gracefully?"

"I can't help it… this body — Miss Hoori's vessel — it takes over every time. Like I'm on a stage… but the war is real."

"Inside I'm Ransoku. A scientist. But this body's personality dominates me every time."

"God, help me. I can't back out now. If I show weakness… they'll eliminate me instantly."

"Okay. Bluff mode on. Maybe that's my only way out."

Suddenly, the room's pressure peaked.

Seraphina's lips moved involuntarily. A soft, regretful line slipped out:

"It's gone too far… there's no point now… nothing can be done anymore… it's all about to end."

(Ransoku meant his personal situation was hopeless. He was stuck. No exit.)

But…

The entire room froze.

The commanders were stunned.

😳 The Commanders' POV — A Dangerous Misunderstanding

They looked at one another.

The killing aura faded. Replaced by a heavy, loaded silence.

Volkran (thinking):

"Is she talking about… Operation Black Rain?"

Helza (whisper):

"She knows about it… Black Rain."

Ronan (stunned):

"No way… that's impossible."

Grivon (coldly):

"That intel… how did it leak?"

Now, Seraphina's accidental comment was being interpreted as classified future knowledge.

Her fear was being mistaken… for prophecy.
