Chapter 8 - Chapter-8: The Energy That Wasn’t Ours

Inside the war room, four chief commanders sat together, their faces tense, eyes flickering from one holographic screen to another. The atmosphere was thick with unease. Around them, glowing panels blinked, each showing critical information.

🔺 On-Screen Visuals:

First screen: A live hologram feed showed red enemy markers moving unpredictably — but clearly closing in.

Second screen: Silhouettes of Zargan's army appeared, surrounded by scanning drones hovering in a tight formation.

Third screen: Weapon diagnostics, missile readiness status, and cloaking field integrity indicators were all displayed — many flashing with warnings.

Fourth screen: A probability analysis graph read:

"Loss Forecast: 62% if attacked."

Commander Helza spoke in a deeply concerned voice:

"This is our most secure… and most secret hideout.

From this base, all the other hideouts are managed.

If this one falls… the entire Resistance structure could collapse."

🧠 Just then, Security Chief FD appeared via hologram. In the background, crackling data streams and multiple warning pop-ups flickered around his image.

"Commanders… exactly 42 minutes and 48 seconds ago, a minor spatial disturbance was recorded near the core of this base — just beneath the war room — right where the Craxillon reactor is located."

(Craxillon: The universe's most powerful yet unstable radioactive energy source. It is highly reactive to interdimensional shifts and spatial anomalies.)

FD continued, his voice heavier now:

"The fluctuations were so intense… that the space-time continuum actually distorted — even if only for a fraction of a microsecond."

A hologram simulation appeared — showing rippling waves that bent reality itself, like water shimmering in space.

"That distortion temporarily disabled all of our cloaking systems — including the 9th-circle magic seals, AI shrouds, quantum distortion fields, and gravimetric static curtains. Everything malfunctioned for just microseconds…"

And then came the real concern.

"But those few microseconds were enough for Zargan's satellite and phased-array radar systems to detect us.

They locked onto our coordinates....."

Commander Grivon cut him off sharply:

"Wait — so that means… they now know the location of this region?

Then why haven't they attacked yet? Why are they just hovering around?"

Assistant GG, a young and sharp female tech analyst, quickly responded:

"Sir, their system did detect us…

But the lock-on and interception process takes time.

The spatial glitch window was too short."

"By the time they could act on the signal, our cloaking field had already auto-repaired."

General Volkran spoke slowly, his voice like thunder:

"But now… they're sure.

They're not randomly patrolling anymore — they're hovering because they know something is here."

Marshal Ronan, angry and suspicious, stood up:

"So this Craxillon glitch or explosion…

Was it really just a reactor issue?

Or was it caused by some other internal stress?"

At that moment, Captain RJ finally spoke, his tone grave and thoughtful:

"That disturbance at the Craxillon reactor — it couldn't have happened on its own.

Yes, Craxillon is the most reactive element in existence, but within our reactors, it remains perfectly stable… unless a massive amount of energy was suddenly released around it."

"And that kind of energy… couldn't have come from just a regular anomaly.

It must have come from something unnatural — something not from this world."

The room fell silent.

All four commanders, in that moment, recalled the strange confrontation that had occurred just before the glitch — the intense clash of aura and energy between Lady Seraphina and themselves…

Her rage when Zargan's name had been mentioned…

The earthquake-like tremors…

The flickering systems…

The glitch…

They all looked at each other, the memory fresh in their minds.

Marshal Ronan thought to himself:

"There's no doubt… this was caused by the aura clash between her and us."

Commander Helza thought:

"There's no denying it now — the spatial glitch began the moment she lost control after hearing about Zargan."

Commander Grivon, more politically minded, had another thought:

"Everyone knows the real cause… but we must stay silent — for now.

We need to focus on solving this."

Their eyes met. Silence filled the chamber again — but it was loaded with hidden truths.

End of Chapter 8....,

Hidden Truth (Known to the Reader Only)

While the commanders believe the spatial glitch was caused by Seraphina's aura burst during her rage, the real reason is far more complex…

It was actually caused by Dr. Ransoku's sudden arrival into this universe — and specifically, into this base — when he teleported and merged into Lady Seraphina's body (the one originally belonging to Miss Hoori).

Ransoku's jump didn't just travel through time — it crossed dimensions.

He came from an alternate universe.

And that process released an enormous surge of energy…

A force powerful enough to momentarily distort the fabric of space-time itself — enough to shake even the Craxillon reactor.

But no one knows this truth yet…

Not even Ransoku.

Not yet.

Will the Resistance uncover the truth before it's too late?

Has Zargan already marked their location… and is a full-scale invasion next?

Is the most secure hideout about to fall?

Or… is the true enemy already inside the base, hidden in plain sight?

🔥 The clock is ticking. The stakes have never been higher.
