"Hi" June said with a smile on her face as she stood before a guy with light brown hair.
"Thought you wouldn't make it" he said with a charming smile on his face, which made his dimples more prominent.
"Sorry to have kept you waiting, I was a little busy" she said with a light blush on her face.
"No need to be, plus it's really nice out here, shall we?", he added like a real gentleman.
They walked side by side each other in the cleared pathway which was in the midst of the tall trees at both their left and right, forming a canopy above them.
"You look really pretty" he said making her turn red.
"Um..., th..., thanks, you're also very handsome" she said before realizing how awkward her statement was.
"Well It's something I hear regularly, he answered, thanks " he added.
"Y...,You're welcome" June said almost on the verge of speaking gibberish.
"Ididn't see you much last year"
"Yes I was quite scarce" she said smiling shyly.
"It felt as though you went missing all of a sudden, he added with a smile making he's words sound funny, how's Gwen?" He suddenly asked
"Uhh?"
"I was thinking she wouldn't let you come see me"
"Why would you think that?" She asked
"You know, she's not very fond of many people, and she seems to have this special hatred towards me" he said laughing
"Even if she does, it doesn't stop me from meeting with you"
"Hmm, she does seem to prioritize you a lot"
"Well, we're roommates"
"True, he said smiling, how long have both of you been roommates?" He asked
"Um..., for about two years " she answered
"Two years" he muttered in a low voice which even her didn't hear.
"Sorry, did you say something?"
"No nothing "
"The weather indeed is very nice" June said as the cool evening breeze fanned across her face.
"Told you ".
The sky had began darkening, as they walked for long minutes in silence which June found uncomfortable, but not for Horace who was in thoughts.
"There's something I saw, it's very fascinating" he said after long minutes
"What?" She asked facing him
"I won't tell you" he said smiling
"Why?"
"I want to show it to you" he added
"Really, were is it?" She asked intrigued.
"I'll show you next time " he said with his usual charming smile
"Next time, she muttered before her eyes lit up like the lights in the Christmas tree, does that mean we would be meeting again?" She asked before scolding herself in her head for sounding too eager.
He let out a little chuckle before answering
"Sure, how about Sunday night?"
She wanted to wanted to complain about it being too far, but she reminded herself to not sound desperate.
"Sure, sounds nice"
His attention suddenly shifted from her and stared into the distance that was hidden in the darkness brought by the night
"It's quite late, let head back" he said he's eyes still trained elsewhere.

Horace had followed June back to the dorm, before turning and heading backg to where they came from, but instead of walking in the clear path amidst the tall trees, he walked into the woods were the darkness was thick.
"What took you so long?" He heard Allan ask who was sitting on his sweater that was laid on the dusty sand, he had his back leaning on one of the trees.
"Being a gentleman" Horace answered smiling.
"You should have just let her walk back alone"
"I felt it was too dangerous, besides it would break her fragile heart" he said dramatically with a mischievous smile plastered on his face, before going to sit next to Allan who made space for him on his sweater.
"What'd you notice?" Allan asked.
"Nothing" he said, which made Allan turn his head slightly to look at him
"She seems normal, but I didn't che-
"So you wasted your time " Allan cut in
"I didn't, everything takes time, I need to build trust, no worry, I don't expect you to understand, be-
He stopped talking when Allan stood up and began walking away.
"Hey!, where are you going?" Horace asked
"Got something to take care of" he said disappearing from sight.
"Uhhhh" he sighed loudly leaning back on the tree, as he had made an attempt to stand and follow Allan.

June was laying on her belly on the bed and squealing once in a while.
"Would you tell me what happened? Or stop making those annoying sounds" Gwen half yelled as June's behavior right now was irking her badly.
June finally faced her and said
"It went well, we're meeting again on Sunday, thinking about it, we didn't say much, he just talked about how he was appalled that you let me see him, we also talked about the weather"
"You say you're meeting him on Sunday?" Gwen asked as if that was the only thing Sha had heard June say
"Yes, I'm so psyched"
"Don't go" Gwen said
"Uh...? " June asked, not getting
"What I mean is I don't think you should meet him again" Gwen said calmly, but on a closer look, her fists were clenched
"You worry too much, nothing can go wrong" June said then squealed again as if remembering something.
Gwen could only close her eyes shut and Lean on the couch.
