Chapter 221 - Chapter 221

"Saitama…"

"You? You came?"

Wanda and Helen Cho froze in shock.

The massive metal cube smashed into Saitama, twisting out of shape, but he remained completely unharmed.

"Saitama? Heh… looks like I don't need to come looking for you."

Vision-Ultron's expression shifted, then curled into a cruel grin.

"You three, step aside. It's dangerous here."

Ignoring Vision-Ultron, Saitama turned to Wanda, Pietro, and Helen Cho, speaking seriously.

"Saitama…"

Wanda's beautiful eyes fixed on him, full of regret and gratitude.

"It's fine. Pietro, take Wanda and leave."

Saitama nodded lightly.

The same Pietro who once resented Saitama now felt deeply moved.

Captured, yet released. Saved, not once but twice. And still he had branded Saitama a villain in his heart. How wrong he'd been.

"Thank you… Saitama… big bro!"

Blushing, Pietro gave his thanks before taking Wanda's hand to leave.

"But… what about Dr. Helen Cho? She's…"

Wanda's tearful eyes lingered on the woman bleeding on the floor. She had risked herself for humanity; Wanda couldn't just abandon her.

"D-Don't worry about me… just go. S-Saitama… forgive me… for dragging you into this… even though it's our first meeting…"

Helen's lips trembled, blood trickling as her life ebbed away.

She regretted everything.

Creating Ultron, unleashing this nightmare.

"Master, she won't last much longer."

Saturday Sale's voice chimed in Saitama's ear. Helen's life force was fading fast.

"Is there any way to save her?"

Saitama asked firmly.

He couldn't just stand by while someone died.

"Perhaps… you could try spatial isolation."

"Space?"

Saitama blinked, then remembered—

The Cube.

The space power he'd once absorbed from the Tesseract.

He rarely used it anymore. Too much hassle to recharge, and frankly—too troublesome.

"I'm talking to you. Didn't you hear me?"

Vision-Ultron snarled.

This was his grand ascension, yet Saitama wasn't even paying attention!

Didn't he see how easily he had crushed Wanda before? Yet here, before Saitama, it was as if he didn't exist.

"To know my body… Saitama… please, destroy the demon I've created… for humanity's sake…"

Helen's weak voice shook.

"You won't die."

Saitama said calmly. "I'll preserve you first."

"Preserve?"

Helen blinked in confusion.

The world blurred. Suddenly, she was gone.

No one—neither Wanda nor Vision-Ultron—could sense her existence anymore.

Saitama had isolated her in space.

Not like Boros's sealing technique, but a true separation.

A perfect preservation, like time itself had frozen.

To everyone else, she had simply vanished into thin air.

"What…?"

Even with psychic power, Vision-Ultron couldn't detect her. Wanda couldn't either. She was just gone.

"You two should leave. I need to fight."

Saitama stood, turning to Wanda and Pietro.

"...Alright. Then we'll leave this to you, Saitama-sama."

Wanda gave him one last, deep look before Pietro whisked her away.

They knew the truth—

They'd only be a burden here.

"You plan to kill me?"

Vision-Ultron laughed angrily, glaring at Saitama.

"Not sure. If you surrender now, maybe I'll let you go."

Saitama shook his head.

"Surrender? Hahaha! Foolish human. Even with such power, your vision is shallow! Humanity is obsolete. Only evolution brings peace!"

His eyes gleamed with contempt. "Do you think I'm the same as before?"

The lab shook violently.

Metal objects floated into the air, then shot forward like bullets under his psychic control.

At such speed, even a bean could be deadly.

His barrage could pierce Stark's Hulkbuster armor.

Even vibranium would be threatened.

"Die!"

Vision-Ultron roared as the storm engulfed Saitama.

How familiar it looked—

Standing in the eye of the storm, Saitama sighed.

He wished Ultron could see Fubuki and Tatsumaki's psychic powers. Then he'd know what real telekinesis looked like.

Clang! Smash! Bang!

The cacophony rang on for nearly five minutes.

Who knew how much Ultron hurled at him?

This storm would have torn Stark to shreds even in his Hulkbuster suit.

As the barrage finally ceased, Vision-Ultron breathed hard.

The Mind Stone gave him immense power, but it wasn't limitless.

Even if he couldn't kill Saitama, surely he had wounded him.

But reality was cruel.

The smoke cleared.

The lab lay in ruins, reduced to rubble and twisted metal piled into mountains.

Atop one such heap—

A man stood calmly.

Yellow suit. White cape. Red gloves. Bald head gleaming as ever.

The bored look in his eyes was unchanged.

He yawned.

Vision-Ultron: "..."

It felt like his soul had just been crushed under tons of weight.

Not a scratch on him.

Only a few rips in his costume.

That was it.

"No… impossible! Your body can't be harder than mine! You can't withstand that!!"

"Is that really all you've got? If so… guess I'll end this fight now."

Saitama yawned again, utterly disinterested.

He raised his fist.

Clenched it.

And aimed it at Vision-Ultron.
