Chapter 182 - Chapter 182: Internet Addict!

The blazing wall of fire rushed toward Garou.

Hiss—

A thin red line appeared across Blue Fire's cheek. His pupils dilated, losing focus. Behind him, blue flames roared… while a severed, bloody arm dropped into his hand.

"Such cheap tricks don't impress me. Who's the weakling now?"

Garou sneered.

"Run! Master Sitch, quickly summon other S-Class heroes! I'll hold him for three minutes!"

Blue Fire gritted his teeth, clutching the stump of his arm, glaring at Garou with pain in his eyes.

"Three minutes? Hah. You're overestimating yourself."

Garou chuckled.

In a blur, faster than the wind, he appeared before Blue Fire.

Boom—

Like a cannon blast, Blue Fire was sent flying, crashing into the wall. Blood smeared down its surface as he collapsed, unconscious.

"Ahhh."

Garou coldly scanned the terrified Sitch, then turned his gaze to the gathered villains.

"The slaughter party's next. Your turn."

Bloodlust surged. The scent of iron filled the air, freezing both heroes and criminals alike.

Within ten minutes, the roars and jeers of the villains were gone. Silence fell.

The grand hall was now a graveyard, corpses piled high. Only Garou stood calmly amidst the carnage.

"Even I can't take on several S-Class at once. But this is enough for now. My debut as Monster Garou is complete. Time to wrap things up perfectly."

With a satisfied smile, he glanced at the trembling Sitch, pale with fear, then turned to leave.

"In half a year, I'll be even stronger. Then I'll return through the front door, proudly. Farewell."

Garou's figure vanished, leaving only terror behind.

The first human to declare himself a monster.

Days later.

At the villa—

Fubuki was in the kitchen wearing an apron. Miss Saturday Sale was busy at the Evolution House with the Extremis virus. Mosquito Girl Christina tended the flowers and garden.

Saitama, meanwhile, had come home from a gaming store, carrying a new title. His greatest passion lately was video games.

"Don't want this gear? You don't have much yet," Saitama asked curiously, holding a controller.

He was terrible at games, constantly losing.

"Hahaha, your class is even worse than mine! I'm not some S-Class hero forced to grind, you know?"

Christina stuck out her tongue playfully. Combined with her gorgeous face, it could drive men crazy.

"Oh, looks like I've almost finished gearing up. You've got nothing."

Saitama sighed. With King, it was always worse—King stole all the loot, leaving him broke every time.

Christina laughed so hard she shook.

"You're too nice, always tanking bosses for others, even letting them take the kills. No wonder your loot's garbage."

The girls playing with him made even gaming feel like part of his lazy lifestyle.

Genos, knowing his teacher was swamped handling "sister-wives," sensibly stayed out, spending his days fighting monsters and leveling up.

"Wait—fast approach detected!"

Christina's expression shifted. She looked outside.

Someone was coming fast.

"Oh, the boss is almost here. Hide your character, I'll handle it."

Saitama didn't look up, eyes glued to the screen. He looked every bit the hopeless gaming addict.

Christina sighed, stood up gracefully, and strode outside.

"Human? What do you want?"

In her golden maid outfit, Christina's eyes turned cold as a figure landed.

Fully armed, it was Speed-o'-Sound Sonic.

"This is Saitama's residence, isn't it? I've received reliable intel. He lives here."

His voice was icy. "I am Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, Saitama's nemesis. Today I've come to settle things. Understand?"

"Saitama's nemesis, huh?"

Christina's lips curved into a knowing smile. "No wonder you looked familiar."

"Oh? You? Don't make me laugh. I don't consider women like you real opponents!" Sonic scoffed.

He had checked the Hero Association records before coming. Three S-Class women were listed with Saitama, but none seemed threatening to him—except the notorious Tatsumaki. Against Christina, he felt no pressure.

Then, crouching low like a mantis, Sonic's eyes sharpened.

"Ha!"

The ground cracked beneath his speed. He closed the gap instantly, blade slashing at Christina's neck—only to flip the sword to its blunt side at the last moment.

Clearly, he wasn't as ruthless as his words.

"Oh? Holding back in a fight? Or do you just think too highly of yourself?"

Christina smiled, summoning her Saint Lance.

Clang!

Sparks exploded.

Sonic froze in shock. His strike hadn't moved her an inch.

"Unbelievable. I'm a top-ranked assassin, and yet—"

Before he could process it, Christina's mocking voice rang out.

"Losing focus mid-battle is fatal. With this skill, you think you can be Saitama's rival?"

Her lance darted like a viper, striking faster than the eye could follow.

"Shit!"

Sonic broke into cold sweat, dodging desperately.

Clang!

The instant he blocked, he regretted it.

The lance's crushing force shattered his armguards, the impact like a hammer smashing his chest. He spat blood, flying back.

Impossible.

Why?

When he fought Saitama before, he had lasted 54 exchanges. Now, he couldn't even handle Saitama's maid?

"Thinking too much, little intruder?"

A voice came from above.

"Shit!"

Sonic's scalp tingled. He leapt aside just in time.

Boom—

A lance slammed down, carving a crater five meters wide where he had stood.

"Damn it! She's only ranked S-Class 11, but she feels like a top-five monster!"

Grinding his teeth, Sonic cursed.

If so, then he would have to go all out.

His body blurred, splitting into countless afterimages at supersonic speed.
