Chapter 181 - Chapter 181: The Great Threat: The Wolf! A Feast of Slaughter!

On the stage stood a tall, slender young man, handsome, with long bangs covering his eyes.

It was Speed-o'-Sound Sonic.

He had once crossed paths with Saitama… and nearly became a forever-alone warrior that day. Ever since, he held a deep grudge against the bald man. He wanted to find another chance to fight Saitama, to reclaim his lost pride.

"Hm? And who might you be? Sorry, I don't have time for irrelevant matters. What I'm dealing with right now is important."

Sitch's expression stiffened.

"No matter. Since he's not here, I've no interest in listening further."

Sonic spoke indifferently, turning to leave.

"You think you can just walk out whenever you want?!"

A-Class hero Blue Fire raised his hand threateningly. S-Class hero Heavy Tank Loincloth and A-Class hero Magic Trick also turned to glare.

"Ahhh… So this is all because the frequency of Tiger-level disasters has skyrocketed, and the Association lacks manpower, so you summoned us villains? Honestly, it disgusts me."

Sonic casually tossed some documents into the air. The pages fluttered down at the feet of the other recruits.

"Damn it! That bastard doesn't take the Association seriously at all!"

Magic Trick growled.

Standing on the stage, Sitch raised a hand to stop them, his cold gaze fixed on Sonic's back. "Let him go. Don't forget our true purpose here."

If they picked a fight with Sonic, many of the others present would refuse to cooperate. The Association couldn't afford that right now.

Suppressing his anger, Sitch let Sonic leave.

"Tch. Boring."

Sonic saw everything clearly. He had only one thought now: find Saitama and beat him down to wash away his humiliation.

This time, he had prepared powerful new ninjutsu, confident he could finally win.

So-called S-Class top-ranked bald hero? Ranked high, maybe, but strength? Sonic doubted it.

Once Sonic left, the meeting finally resumed, without open resistance to Sitch's speech.

But the peace didn't last long.

A mocking, evil laugh echoed from the crowd.

"Hahaha~~ Not bad. This prophecy predicting an unheard-of God-level disaster… this old man is right. Even if all of you ganged up together, you wouldn't stand a chance."

A man in a tight black suit, muscles sleek like a predator, with long silver hair split into two, full of wild arrogance, stepped forward.

He sneered at the stage.

"And you are…?" Sitch swallowed nervously.

"I'm Garou. Fascinated by monsters, I walked the path of training to become one myself. I've destroyed several dojos with my own strength. So what are you waiting for? Come at me all at once! Let's see who's truly the strongest. That's why I'm here."

His words were like a bomb thrown into the crowd.

"Is this guy looking down on us?"

"Some brat still wet behind the ears, wants to die?"

"I'll kill him!"

"I'll make him kneel and call me daddy!"

The villains stirred with excitement, eager for chaos.

Of course—what better chance to stir trouble than right here in the Association headquarters?

"Forgive me, but remove him."

Sitch sighed, a trace of regret on his face.

"Gladly!"

The three professional heroes growled in unison.

They'd been itching to vent their frustration since Sonic left. Now they could take it out on Garou.

"Too bad for you. Time to escort you out."

Magic Trick smirked confidently, vanishing like a playing card. In a flash, he appeared before Garou, magic wand thrusting toward his throat. A direct hit would shatter his windpipe.

"…Hm?"

Garou's eyes lit up with a bloodthirsty grin.

Moving with inhuman speed, he swayed aside like a butterfly, sliding behind Magic Trick.

His palms clamped together—

Boom!

Magic Trick coughed blood, launched like a ragdoll, slammed into the wall.

"Damn it!"

Heavy Tank Loincloth's face darkened. Despite his massive size, he was surprisingly fast, swinging a heavy fist at Garou's back. It was a punch strong enough to smash through a car.

The ground cracked from the impact, dust exploding into the air.

"Hey, hey! Do you really punch with confidence like that, old man?"

Garou's mocking voice came from the side.

Heavy Tank looked in horror at his twisted arm, broken like a corkscrew, white bone piercing through flesh.

"Strong ones don't need tricks like that, idiot—"

Garou sneered, and with an uppercut sent the newly promoted S-Class hero crashing down, bones shattering.

"Well done!"

"Nice hit, hahaha!"

The villains roared with laughter, applauding Garou.

They'd never liked the Hero Association. Seeing its heroes beaten down filled them with glee.

But Garou turned on them too.

"You bastards aren't any different. You're human scum, no better than the heroes. I'll hunt you down as well. Because I'm the monster."

The villains froze, then erupted in fury.

"Damn brat, calling yourself a monster when you're just human trash!"

Blue Fire's eyes narrowed coldly. Unlike the others, he remained calm.

"Pathetic. You're human, yet you call yourself a monster. Allow me to burn away your arrogance."

He pressed his hands together, fingers weaving signs.

The air temperature spiked, and a blazing wall of fire, over three meters wide, surged toward Garou.
