"What happened to your arm?"
Jinhwan asks as he looks at that man's right arm, which is covered in a bandage, a white cotton wrapped around his wrist layer on a layer like he had a wound beneath it.
He moved his right hand, raising it a little, seeing it for a while.
"Well, an X rank gate breaks in my country, so just doing some good deeds."
Jinhwan let out a laugh as he heard that man's words.
"You and doing good deeds? Come on.. how much do they pay you?"
That man stared at Jinhwan for a while his smile turned into a smirk.
"It's not as much as you do but it's enough for me to step in."
This man is Maxim Volkov, a russian hunter, and his Rank is Z. I could say even higher since he is the strongest man on planet Earth.
And one of the reasons I still hold control over Sync Tech is a corporation my parents built and one of the biggest tech companies in the world i can say the only biggest company in the world it makes almost everything as long as it's weapons for hunters of any type of weapons it's not easy to create a weapon that can infuse with mana and even enhance it.
My parents are the first people who managed to understand the science behind it and create it, and that was a secret only me and the employees of Sync tech know, and they are loyal to my late parents, so no government manages to get that secret out.
The only way for them to get that secret out was me, after my parents passed, the world was after me but for their bad luck i had people who are in debt of my parents they i was safe and i had uncle Joon with me so i was basically untouchable but uncle Joon is not the strongest person in the world and i don't want him to ge hurt for saving me so one day a man come to kidnapped me and it's this man Maxim Volkov.
I still remember that I was sitting in my room I was around seven years old at that time, I was reading a book on my bed. It was late around midnight, I cannot sleep well these days because of him...
But then the window opens suddenly, and cold wind rushes into the room. It's not like I felt cold, since that room was already cold because of the air conditioner, and I saw Maxim sitting on the window frame.
"Kids at your age should be sleeping by now it's a bad habit."
And look who was talking, someone who just broke into my room. I recognised him as soon as I saw his face, I mean, I saw him on television, a reckless hunter who doesn't listen to either the government or anyone, he only steps in if money is involved.
"Look, kid, don't make a fuss like scream or cry, just come with me, that's all."
Do I look like an idiot to him? I mean which kid would go with a stranger who just broke into his house?
"How much do they pay you?"
That's the only thing that comes to my mind, so I ask him, since why would he come here unless someone asks him, and he won't work for someone for free, does he?
"Why do you ask? Well, it's around a hundred million in dollars."
He laughed.
"You're expensive kid, I feel jealous no one would pay a million to buy me when I was a kid."
Huh? Is he an idiot? Would you get jealous over something like that? Whatever I had to deal with him somehow.
"I'll pay you the same amount monthly, work for me."
It was an expensive deal but what would I do with that money if I'm not alive to spend it and with that I had the strongest man as my shield in this world not only him after that I hired a lot of big shots on my side and made a guild for them so I just don't need money. And that guild manages their cost, so he and others don't cost me anything.
"Whoa, you managed to get a woman in that Once gate and even a daughter!! If I calculate it right, you're there for 4 days or less, and 24 multiplied by 4, you live there for around three months. Whoa! Whoa!! Whoa-"
"Shut the fuck up!! Read the surroundings.."
Jinhwan replied in anger, it was more like a fear, he could feel the pain of Seyoung's tight hug as she looked behind him to Koko and Hana sleeping on her hands, and the colour of Hana's hair made it worse for Jinhwan.
Koko just stood there, confused by the language they're using and her surroundings. These cars around them, she had seen cars, but it was when she was little; she hadn't seen these buildings in a long time. But this world is different from her own.
Seyoung looks up at Jinhwan, her eyes are sharp, as if she would eat him alive. Jinhwan forced a smile on his face.
"Cool down, and which logic makes you think I'll have a baby girl this big in ninety days?"
Even though I lived there for four days, but... Explaining won't do anything right now.
"So you have only managed to pull that girl still a feat is a feat."
Maxim just threw some petrol on that fire burning inside Seyoung's eyes.
"Shut the fuck up or I'll cut you're month's pay-"

"FUCK!"
Jinhwan whispered in pain seeing that Maxim started laughing.
"Haaachh!!! Hahahhaa!!"
That stupid laugh, I'll see you later, asshole.
"It's nothing she is just someone... Who helped me there, just a friend, I swear."
Seyoung looks at him for a few seconds before losing her grip on him letting him breathe.
"So nothing happened between you two right?"
She asks, her tone is cold, giving Jinhwan chills, and he just nods. She continued.
"So what about that kid?"
"Oh, that's.. I-i i just found her alone in that dead world i can't leave a small, cute, innocent girl alone, do I?"
Hearing his words, Seyoung looked calm again, and she released him.
"Let's go home we need to treat you."
Her tone was soft now and a little guilty for acting fast.
Jinhwan smiled.
"It's fine, just a few ribs... Auch."
He turned his head to Koko, who was not aware of what was happening. She is just lost in her imagination; it is a new world for her after all.
"Koko."
He called her.
She turned her gaze to him seeing him sweating.
"Can you heal me? Looks like my few bons just broke."
Without a word, Koko moved her index finger towards him. Her eyes glowed silver again. Suddenly, dust warped around his chest and then vanished, healing his broken ribs back to normal.
"Oh, she is a healer. Can you heal me, too, young lady?"
Maxim asks, but seeing she doesn't understand what he just said, he looks at Jinhwan.
"Can you tell her?"
"Fuck off, go spend some money."
"Ahh, come on, boss, you don't want your employee to be injured, what if someone tries to kill you? How will I save you?"
Jinhwan let out a sigh.
"She can't heal you; it will take too much mana giving since you're not a regular person, and you were in 'Final Flow' just a few hours ago."
Hearing that, Maxim and Seyoung's eyes widened in surprise, but they didn't say anything, just looked at Koko for a few seconds.
"Just go to a healer, I'll pay. Let's go, Uncle Joon, I wanna change my clothes."
Joon nodded and walked towards the car, signalling others to leave and free the road.
"Let's go, Koko."
Seeing Jinhwan walking Koko followed him.
"Oh, I forgot to mention. Can you build me an axe? My old one broke."
Jinhwan stopped and looked at him.
"How?"
"Just a weird opponent on that X rank gate."
Maxim replied.
"If it's broken, just order someone from head office."
"Nah, I want something better. So you make it or at least observe anyone who's making it."
"Fine, I'll make it."
With that, Jinhwan walks towards the car and sits in the front seat. Then Seyoung sits in the back seat with Koko, and Hana is still sleeping.
