Chapter 56: Maybe We Can Try Dating

Seeing that Alessandra was genuinely angry, William quickly said, "Okay, okay, I apologize. Alessandra, you're just too charming. I've been fascinated with you since the first time I saw you in a magazine."

"When I saw you in person today, I couldn't help but follow you. Can I be fortunate enough to earn your forgiveness?"

"Hmph, don't even think about it. I haven't forgiven you yet, William," Alessandra replied, though the anger in her eyes had softened.

"Well then, my lovely and charming Alessandra, what must I do to win your forgiveness?" William asked, dragging a chair closer to her.

Seeing that she didn't object to him moving nearer, William knew Alessandra didn't dislike him; the beautiful model just couldn't bring herself to forgive him so easily.

Alessandra thought for a moment and said, "You have to play tennis against me and my companion... by yourself."

William stroked his forehead. "That's not fair, I'll definitely lose. How can one person play against two? Can we change the terms?"

"Haha, that's the point! I want you to lose. And after you lose, you have to be our errand boy for the day," Alessandra said, laughing at the thought of William having to follow them around.

"And if I win?" William retorted. "It can't be that I'm just your errand boy if I lose, with no benefit if I win."

"Fine. If you win, I'll be your personal tour guide. I've been in Nassau for a few days, so I know my way around. I'll definitely save you from making a lot of rookie mistakes," Alessandra offered.

"Okay, you have a deal, Alessandra."

William raised his hand to call a waiter and was led to the hotel's sports boutique, where he bought a tennis outfit, sneakers, and a racket.

Alessandra watched the suddenly confident William and wondered if she was being tricked again. *Is he actually a great tennis player?*

The thought made her a little uneasy. She silently cursed him, *This guy is so cunning. How does he fool people so easily?*

After William changed, he was introduced to Alessandra's companion. After learning who William was, the companion's expression immediately changed.

Billionaires weren't an everyday sight. However, seeing William focus all his attention on teasing Alessandra, with no interest in her, made the companion feel a bit dejected.

Once the match started, Alessandra's companion began to deliberately make frequent errors. In the best-of-three match, William won two games with almost no effort. The companion had thrown the game, hoping to curry favor with William so he would stop teasing Alessandra and pay attention to her.

After his victory, William walked over to Alessandra and her companion. "Alessandra, a deal's a deal. You have to be my guide now. Haha, I didn't expect to get such a beautiful tour guide today."

Alessandra looked at her companion helplessly. It was obvious the girl had thrown the match to please William, but it had backfired, costing them both the bet.

"Hmph, a deal's a deal. I'm going to my room to change. Meet me in the hotel lobby in two hours," she said. Without waiting for William's reply, she grabbed her companion and left.

William watched the sullen companion get dragged away and shook his head with a smile.

William asked the waiter for the check, then went to find his sea-view room. Since he had arrived with no luggage, he called the service desk and had a hotel staff member bring him a selection of Versace outfits to choose from.

He spent half an hour getting ready and had a quick lunch before taking a short nap. At 2:50 PM, he went down to the lobby. He only waited a few minutes before a stunning Alessandra Ambrosio, now wearing a beautiful skirt and light makeup, walked towards him.

William was mesmerized. He stared at her, completely captivated.

"You're so beautiful, Alessandra," he said, his voice full of awe. "I feel like my heart has been captured by you. If I couldn't see you again, I don't know how I'd go on."

William's over-the-top praise made Alessandra beam. She covered her mouth to hide her wide grin, her eyes crinkling with a smile.

"You really have a way with words, William. How do you come up with these things?"

"No, no, it's the truth, Alessandra. You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I think Victoria's Secret should have you in their show this year."

Alessandra gasped, covering her mouth in shock. "How is that possible? I'm not qualified to be in the Victoria's Secret show."

"Ha, anything is possible, Alessandra. You have what it takes. You just need to appear in the media a few more times, and you'll definitely get noticed by Victoria's Secret."

"But I don't have the connections to get that kind of media attention," Alessandra said, her mood suddenly falling. "And there are so many girls just as beautiful as me in the modeling world. It's hard to make a name for yourself without the backing of a major designer. Ugh, William, you're so annoying. Now I'm not in the mood to go out anymore."

Seeing her spirits drop, William stepped forward to comfort her. "Don't worry, I have an idea. You know I'm famous in England, and soon all of Europe will know my name. Maybe... I can help you become famous."

"How can you help me, William?" Alessandra asked, her eyes shining with hope.

William said matter-of-factly, "What you need right now is a chance to become a household name. We can be seen together a few times in England. The paparazzi will take our picture, and the media will want to know who you are. You're so beautiful and have such a great figure; after a few appearances, your fame will skyrocket. The big-name designers will notice you, and you'll be famous in no time, Alessandra."

Alessandra Ambrosio looked at William with a knowing smile. "Haha, William. Maybe we can try dating for a while. I knew you weren't helping me just out of the kindness of your heart." As she spoke, she playfully traced circles on his chest with her finger.

William looked at Alessandra, whose ambiguous gaze and playful smile told him she was a clever woman.

He reached out and gently took her hand. "Such a beautiful Miss Alessandra Ambrosio deserves to be seen by the world. Shall we go? Perhaps the people you're looking for are already waiting for us outside."

Alessandra Ambrosio smiled sweetly. "Alright, Mr. William Devinshire."

They walked hand-in-hand out of the hotel, a perfect picture of talent and beauty, turning the heads of every envious man they passed.
