"Ugh, my head. What am I holding? Sand? Where am I? It's so hot."

Nico lay there for a few seconds before his senses slowly returned. He blinked and looked around. Sand. It was everywhere. He was in a desert with no shelter in sight.

"How did this happen? What's going on? Why am I here? I was just sleeping," he muttered to himself.

Once he accepted that this was his reality, he pushed himself to his feet, squinting against the sun's heat. He had no idea where he was going, but he knew he couldn't stay still. His eyes scanned the area for anything useful, and he noticed a hill of sand nearby. Maybe he could get a better view from the top.

Nico climbed, panting as the sand shifted beneath his feet. When he finally reached the peak, he spotted a small city in the distance, a hundred meters away.

Relief flooded through him, but just as he took a step, his foot caught on a rock. He lost his balance and tumbled down the slope, rolling until he hit the bottom.

"Why... why is this happening to me?" Nico whispered, his voice breaking. "I'm so unlucky. I can't do this anymore. I just need to rest."

At the base of the hill, Nico found shade beneath a large rock. Exhausted, he lay down and drifted into sleep.

(Minutes passed)

Nico was jolted awake by someone shaking his shoulder. A man, dressed in desert garb similar to a hijab, was standing over him.

"Hey, are you okay?" the man asked. "Why are you out here—"

A mild sandstorm blurred the man's vision, but when he finally got a good look at Nico, he froze in shock.

The man gasped. Nico's appearance was striking—tall, around six feet, with radiant skin, eyes that seemed to glow, and a physique that seemed too perfect. Adorned with jewelry, Nico looked like someone out of a royal painting.

"W-wait... Sir, are you perhaps a noble?" the man stammered.

Nico groaned. "Just help me. Get me out of here."

"Oh! I'm sorry! Right away," the man said quickly.

The man, who introduced himself as Raksha, helped Nico onto a horse, and they rode toward the city.

(Raksha's internal monologue): This is my lucky day! That jewelry, his face—he has to be royalty! If I bring him to the Court of Majestus, I'll be rewarded for sure. Even as a commoner, saving a noble is worth something."

[Empire of Majestus, the land of golden laughter]

When they arrived at the gates of the city, Nico was welcomed by the royal knights of the Court of Majestus. The entire city gleamed with elegance, and everyone was dressed in the finest clothes, not a single person looking out of place.

Nico suddenly felt self-conscious, lowering his eyes. But as the people noticed him, they were just as stunned as Raksha had been—gazing in awe at his beauty.

Nico was in a lobby. He was accommodated by a person named Charles Adams

Charles offered a drink to Nico while admiring his flawless beauty.

Charles Adams [Internal Monologue]: "Who is this guy? Why is someone like him stranded on a desert? Look at him, he's perfect. His face, his body, it's what women crave. I just got the brightest idea!"

Raksha was staring at Nico and Nico remembered he was the one who saved his life, so he was thankful for him. He says, "Thank you, sir. You saved me there. Here, take my golden necklace.

The person accommodating Nico, Charles, says to him, "Isn't that one a little too greedy."

Nico: "Nah. It's okay. He should be rewarded for saving me."

Charles was charmed by Nico's kindness. Eager to see more of his kindness, Charles offered him to live in his mansion.

Nico: "F-For real? I don't think I can accept that easily hehe."

Charles (Enthusiastic): "Not only are you kind. But humble, everybody will love you in that mansion."

Charles asked Nico, "My grace, can I ask what is your name? And what were you doing in Sakhan?"

Nico: "Sakhan? Where's that?"

Charles "The desert region conquered by the Empire. The place where Raksha found you. A barren land"

Nico (Internal Monologue): "Shit. I need to choose a name where they won't get suspicious. Barren...Desert...."

Nico: "Uh..."

Nico: "D-dune.....barren."

Charles: "Nico Dunebarren? Praise to the gods. You have a name worthy of royalty. A name revered in honor and glory. Lord Dunebarren. What a beautiful name."

Nico smiles awkwardly.

Charles: "Are you perhaps a sigil user? You are right? With that face, with that wealth, it's nirmal for you to be a Sigil user."

Lord Dunebarren: Sigil? What is that?"

Charles: "What? Everyone knows what sigil is?"

Lord Dunebarren: "C-can you tell me what that is?"

Charles: "Understood. Sigil are powers gifted by the Gods to the chosen one. Only 42% of the human population has been granted sigils. So do you have sigil?"

Nico: "I-I'm not sure yet."

Nico [Internal Monologue]: "So, I was isekai'd, but instead of magic, they're called sigils? Do I have one?"

As they toured the city in the caravan , Charles pointed out the sights to Nico.

Charles: "The land of the Court of Majestus is divided into three sectors."

He gestured out the window as they passed through bustling streets, filled with merchants, children playing, and the smell of fresh-baked bread in the air.

Charles: "This is the Outer City. It's where most civilians live, and it's also one of the most economically developed areas. You'll find all the markets and main supply routes here."

He leaned in slightly, his tone softening.

Charles: "Further in is the Inner City, where the noble families reside. And finally..."

(He paused, eyes glinting.) "...there's the King's Land. That's where the royalty lives. It's the most beautiful place in all of Majestus."

King's Land (The palace in the top is the King's Palace)

After the tour, they arrived at Charles' mansion. The building was massive, with golden accents and polished stone that gleamed in the afternoon sun.

A doorman stepped forward, bowing as he opened the grand doors for them.

Inside, a tall man in a tailored suit greeted them.

Norlan Smith: "Welcome. I'm Norlan Smith, the head butler of this mansion."

He turned to Nico, eyes briefly scanning him.

Norlan (smiling): "And you must be Lord Nico Dunebarren. I must say... you're even more handsome in person. I daresay you rival the most handsome man in the Empire of Majestus."

Nico (blinking, slightly flustered): "Uh... thank you."

They entered the dining room, where a long table was filled with an assortment of fine dishes, meats, fruits, and desserts. Everyone took a seat, and Charles raised his glass.

Charles: "So, Lord Nico Dunebarren..."

Nico: "L-Lord...?"

Charles (smiling): "Our mansion isn't just for private use—it's also part of our business. I want you to be the face of this estate. With your looks and charm, I believe you can make this mansion the number one in all of Majestus."

He leaned back, proud.

Charles: "If you agree, everything here—meals, lodging, service—will be free. Consider it a partnership."

Nico gave a small, awkward smile.

Nico: "T-thank you... I'll do my best."

Charles (grinning): "Excellent! I knew you'd be perfect for this. Now, come! Let's eat!"

Nico enjoyed the feast.

[Nico Dunebarren's Room]

Nico finds a mirror, looks at his face in the mirror and realizes how handsome he was.

Lord Dunebarren: "So do I have a sigil? How would I know If I have one?.."

After settling into his room, Nico sank into the plush armchair by the window, gazing out at the perfectly manicured garden below. A soft knock at the door interrupted his thoughts.

SerJeonne t Girl (Shyly): "Mr. Dunebarren, I brought you some tea."

Nico smiled warmly at her, noticing the faint blush on her cheeks. He wasn't used to this kind of attention, but it felt... nice. As she placed the tray on the table, he thanked her, and she hurried out, glancing back at him with a shy grin.

This beautiful girl took Nico's attention and says, "Would you like a special service, Lord Dunebarren?"

Nico: "What special service?"

The beuaitfiul girl began to unbutton her maid uniform.

At first Nico was confused.

The girl then slowly took out his outerwear and her lingerie was visible to Nico.

Nico, finally realizing what she was doing, he stopped her.

Lord Dunebarren: "W-wait! Wait! Wait! You shouldn't do that in front of men."

Maid: "But I love you. I have to show you that what I'm talking about is real."

Lord Dunebarren: "No! Especially that! You shouldn't sell off your body just to prove your love for someone. Do you know what happens if you do that to the weong people? They- they-. Nevermind. Just don't do it. Proving your love doesn't need you to do that. Men will take adJeonne tage of you and use you. It's very unmanly. And coward.

In the maid's perspective, he saw Lord Nico Dunebarren as a true noble....

Maid (Internal Monologue): "He's cool!.."

In the following days, Nico's life took on a surprising rhythm. He found himself getting invited to join afternoon strolls in the garden with Charles Adam's family, where the women of the house adored his company, and even the men found his humble charm endearing. The mansion's staff continued to dote on him, with girls slipping him compliments and small gestures of kindness—a fresh flower left on his windowsill, his clothes always perfectly pressed, and special desserts appearing at dinner, just for him....

Despite the attention, Nico remained awkward at first. He still caught himself blushing or fumbling with words when someone praised his looks. But gradually, something shifted. He began to embrace his new life, feeling more at home in his own skin. His confidence grew, and with it, his natural charisma shone through.

One evening, as the sun set behind the estate, Nico stood on the balcony, enjoying the peaceful quiet. Norlan approached, clapping a hand on his shoulder.

Norlan Smith: "You know, I've never seen you look so... content. This place is doing you good, mate."

Nico smiled, feeling the truth in Norlan's words.

Nico: "I think... I'm starting to like myself. For the first time in a while."

It wasn't just the mansion's luxury, nor the attention, but the sense of belonging he found here. For once, Nico didn't feel out of place. People cared about him, and he started to realize that maybe he deserved to be cared for. He had gone from a boy who hid in the shadows, unsure of himself, to a young man who could finally stand tall, proud of who he had become.

And for the first time in his life, Nico felt truly loved—by those around him and, most importantly, by himself.

Nico Dunebarren smiles and says: "What a life..."
