Observer POV
On board the Churchel
Aboard an old rusted ship in an area off the coast of South Africa nicknamed the Salvage Yard which served as Ulysses Klaue's base of operations, a metal door was pulled open by one of Klaue's mercenaries, revealing toxic waste. The next second though, hydraulic humming began as the poisonous waste descended, and above it, a room filled with Vibranium came into view.
Klaue reached in and went over to Ultron to give him a sample of the vibranium from the stash.
"Upon this rock I will build my church." He said as he took it from Klaue, looked at it, and threw it at Pietro while elaborating, "Vibranium."
Ulysses Klaue began to scratch his neck, the spot where the Wakandan brand was. "You know, it came at great personal cost. It's worth billions."
Ultron chuckled as he leaned back his neck and remotely deposited money into Klaue's bank accounts. "Now, so are you." He said a second later as the mercenary's phone began to vibrate.
"It's all under your dummy holdings? Finance is so weird. But I always say, keep your friends rich and your enemies rich, and wait to find out which is which." He said as Klaue slowly looked up from his phone towards Ultron.
"Stark," he stated, only getting a round of confusion in response.
"What?" Ultron asked.
"Tony Stark used to say that...to me. You're one of his." He said, his face turning in realization.
"What?! I'm not...!" Ultron began as he grabbed Klaue's arm, while the mercenary tried to lift his gun, but Wanda used her magic to push down his arm.
"I'm not. You think I'm one of Stark's puppets, his hollow men? I mean, look at me, do I look like Iron Man? Stark is nothing…" he angrily yelled, as he chopped off Klaue's arm, making him stumble back in shock.
"I'm sorry. I am sor-- Ooh, I'm sure that's going to be okay. I'm sorry, it's just I don't understand. Don't compare me with Stark!" He angrily shouted as he kicked Klaue down the stairs, his mercenary rushing after him.
"It's a thing with me. Stark is a sickness!" He grumbled in rage, as a metallic voice was heard from behind him.
"Ahh, Junior." Tony Stark said as he descended upon the bridge opposite the three of them, between Thor and Steve.
"You're gonna break your old man's heart."
Ultron turned, while the twins stared daggers at their target, and Pietro threw the vibranium away. "If I have to." He growled annoyed.
"We don't have to break anything." Thor stated, to which Ultron responded deadpan, "Clearly you've never made an omelet." While they went to the other side of the bridge engaging the standoff.
"He beat me by one second." Stark declared confidently at Thor.
Pietro Maximoff stepped forwards, with slow steps, looking around at the rockets lying in the lower decks. "Ah, this is funny, Mr. Stark. It's what, comfortable? Like old times?"
"This was never my life." He defended, realizing the implications.
Steve Rogers also stepped forward as he spoke to the twins, "You two can still walk away from this."
Wanda responded instantly, "Oh, we will."
"I know you've suffered." Steve tried to intervene, but Ultron beat him to it.
"Uuughh! Captain America. God's righteous man, pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but..."
"If you believe in peace, then let us keep it." Thor interrupted his roast.
"I think you're confusing peace with quiet," Ultron responded.
"Yuh-huh. What's the Vibranium for?" Tony countered, analyzing the scans in his visor.
"I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan--" Ultron began, but interrupted himself by pulling Tony forward with his gravity grip.
Simultaneously, drones start attacking Thor and Steve behind him, as Ultron switched to his laser fingers, blasting Tony into a Wall. The two of them began to fly and brawl their way throughout the ship, Ultron flinging stuff at Tony left and right, while he dodged them continuously, responding with blaster fire of his own.
As they began fighting, another whole battle broke out on the ground. Steve fought the drone infront of him, while Thor quickly subdued his, but then got pushed by Pietro flashing by.
Steve then took out his drone before charging at Wanda, who began channeling a hex, which she flung at him, pinning him down to the ground.
As everyone else was fighting, Ulysses Klaue sneaked through the hallways of his ship, hearing the fight take place in the distance. "Shoot them!" He commanded his mercenary, who looked at him in confusion.
"Which ones?" He responded, getting a glare in return.
"ALL OF THEM!" Klaue screamed.
"Move, move, move!" The mercenary commanded his men, as he himself grabbed a gun, rushing towards his new target.
The rest of the team, including Natasha and Barton, now battled Ultron's drones, Klaue's men, and the twins while Stark fought Ultron midair.
Pietro rushed around, giving Steve an uppercut while passing by, befor he got distracted by Thor's hammer flying past him. He then tried to catch it midair, but that backfired immensely.
As he was not worthy, he just got pulled along with the hammer and catapulted through the railing, falling down a deck and coming to an abrupt halt against some boxes.
Ultron and Iron Man continued to fight, as Tony finally catched Ultron off guard, grabbed his body, and pushed him through the roof. Midair, he let go of him, as Ultron took control of parts of the ship and flung them at Tony, while making a run for it.
Inside the Ship, Steve and Thor took out the rest of the Mercenaries and Drones around, as Pietro tried to stand up but got knocked back down into the boxes again by Steve, who just said "Stay down, kid!", before leaving him there in the ground.
Simultaneously, Ultron began to speak to Wanda through a drone. "It's time for some mind games." Making her leave the battlefield to try some sneak attacks instead.
After some wandering around in the shadows, she found her first target, as Wanda used her powers on Thor, putting him in a state of confusion.
Steve saw it from afar, "Thor! Status?" He Re requested.
"The girl tried to warp my mind. Take special care, I doubt a human could keep her at bay. Fortunately, I am mighty." He stated, as he began to stumble around, lost in the hex's illusion.
Wanda continued her streak, using her powers first on the runover Steve and then on Natasha, while Ultron's Drones began to pack up the Vibranium. "This is going very well." He stated, taking over one of the control for a second.
Tenno POV
I had watched the fight from inside the Liset through the walls from the beginning. This universe's Wanda was very inexperienced and didn't know what she was doing.
"Operator, is she crucial enough to get entangled in this world's politics? I would not want your plans to be delayed because of such MUTATED SKUM, gifted individuals," I heard Ordis speak up his worries.
"Don't worry, Ordis, I will make it as clean as possible. Prepare for engagement," I commanded as I checked my weapons and put them in their holster. Instead of showing them outright, though, I decided to hide their appearance, so they vanished into Rhino's pocket storage.
(AN: Actually, an in-game feature I like to use a lot, as not hiding the weapons, always makes them bug around and destroy my precisely refined Fashionframes)
I then watched as the floor opened up and a cylinder with a humanoid silhouette came into view. I lay down, the magnetic locks holding me in place as the cylinder turned vertically, and I began to face downwards, feeling the fresh air against Rhinos skin, hanging face down in the open air, watching the fast descent of the Liset towards my destination.
"Operator, ship's in position in 3, 2, 1, engage." Ordis counted through our link as the magnetic locks turned off, and I began to fall for the last few meters.
As I turned around to watch him go, I just catched a glimpse of the Lisets' shadow through the clouds, already leaving my visual range.
I proceeded to turn toward the ship's entrance, pulled up my knee, and kicked in the door, crashing against the opposite wall.
Observer POV:
Just as Wanda was finished with Natasha and searched for her next target while hiding in the shadows, a door opened up next to her, one of Klaue's Mercenaries appearing, as he pulled up his gun after seeing her, his finger already on the trigger.
She was completely taken aback and just about to push the gun down with her magic when a big Iron figure came from behind and flung the guys head against the wall.
"Hey there, Wanda, I just want to talk."
Rhino said, slowly raising his hands to show that he meant no harm.
"It seems you're in quite a mess. I can help you with that."
She looked at him in disgust and fired her red balls of energy in his direction.
"Mr. Stark, you are the last person on earth, I would ever willingly take a helping hand from," she declared as she appeared behind Rhino and tried her mind games on him.
"I think you have misunderstood something," he said while turning around, facing her hex, head-on.
As it connected, something inside the Warframe went wild, and Tenno was thrown out of its control, while Rhino slumped down on his knees.
Wanda stepped back in confusion, not expecting this to work, since Iron Man should be outside fighting Ultron according to plan, while this could have only been one of Tony's Iron Legion.
She just wanted to melt its circuits, but didn't think she would actually feel a mind in there. And a mind not like Starks at all, a powerful mind, unprepared, yes, but incredibly strong.
She began to walk away from whatever that was and went over to the stairs leading to Hawk-Eye's position, whom she had spotted sniping from the higher decks a few seconds ago.
Ultron watched, intrigued, from afar as he and his drones carried the vibranium past the kneeling creature.
This was not according to plan and he had no manpower to spare, so he contacted Wanda instead of analyzing what kneeled thereon his own.
"What is that? I don't have anything on it. Is it one of Stark's little secret weapons?" He asked, sounding genuinely interested and confused.
"I don't think so, I felt a mind in it, that's not something stark can do."
Ultron nodded and continued his task, while pushing the questions he had into his inner to-do list.
"Truly Interesting," he stated again, before finally focusing his full attention upon the task at hand.
Wanda finally reached the top of the stairs and tried to sneak up behind Barton, who just shot a shockwave arrow at the mercenaries on the lower decks, finishing off the last of them.
As she was just about to charge up her hex, he turned around and stuck an electric arrow against her forehead.
"I've done the whole mind control thing. Not a fan." He murmured as he reached for the arrow.
But before he could detach it, he was run over by Pietro, who threw him through a window into an office. He then detached the arrow from Wanda's head, picked her up, and ran off.
"Yeah, you better run." Klint exclaimed as he slumped down on the table.
Down some decks, Rhino began to move again as he stood up. "Operator, I thought she was inexperienced and didn't know what she was doing." Ordis joked as Tenno began flooding the Warframe with his energy.
"Yeah, yeah, I wasn't prepared, ok." He grumbled as he shook his limbs.
"I told you how in the other Universe I was in, I gained the rank of Master in the Mystica arts?" Tenno asked.
"Of course, I'm remembering Operator, Ordis still struggles with the fact that there is a Multiverse out there, but what does that have to do with what happened?"
"With it comes a mind protection spell, but it only protects my mind, and I forgot that. But that isn't a problem. I will just get Rhino a similar one, once we are back at Kamar Taj. For now, it should be enough if I constantly supply his head with void energy. That will be taxing on his abilities as I can't supply him with more energy that way, but I won't let something like that happen again," Tenno declared while watching Wanda and Pietro outside through the Lisets live feed.
Wanda still suffered in pain from the electric arrow Barton had hit her with. "What can I do?" Pietro asked while gently holding her in place.
"Ah, it hurts." Was the only thing coming out of her mouth in response. "I'm gonna kill him. I'll be right back." Pietro said, but Wanda stopped him.
"No. I'm over it. I want...I want to finish the plan." She said as she slowly managed to catch her breath, looking at the Quinjet where Banner was waiting, her eyes turning red.
"I want the big one."
"What might she be planning, Operator?" Ordis asked, having spied on the conversation while Rhino was recalibrating.
"How would I know? Scan public data to see what she might mean by that. It probably has something to do with the person over there in the ship," Tenno said, while doing some mobility tasks, getting the synthetic muscles to reconnect with the neurons again correctly.
"Doctor David Bruce Banner, M.D., Ph.D., is a renowned scientist and a founding member of the Avengers initiative." Ordis began to report what he found out in his research
"Highly respected for his work in biochemistry, nuclear physics, and gamma radiation, Banner was tasked by Thaddeus Rossto recreate the Super Soldier Serum that created Captain America. During the experiment, Banner substituted gamma radiation for vita radiation and administered the serum on himself. As a result, the scientist found that he was now able to transform into a huge, rage-fueled, primitive-minded creature known as the Hulk…"
He began to monologue as they both watched Wanda and Pietro suddenly dash in front of Dr. Banner, Wanda casting a hex at him and then vanishing again.
"Still got her on the scanner?" Tenno asked Ordis annoyed. "I'm sorry to report that the speedster has outrun the parameter I'm allowed to leave while the Operator is in a Mission. I will continue to search for them through the local communications network the Humans call the Internet. Still, because of the rogue AI on the loose, the Avengers are dealing with at the Moment, it is quite tricky not to get detected by it," Ordis affirmed as Rhino finally stopped his movements and went into a sprint position. "I will just have to run after them. Do you still have the direction they were running at?" Tenno asked, but Ordis seemed otherwise distracted.
"Operator, please look at Dr. Banner through the feed, I think I've figured out what her plan was" he said, so Tenno did.
They witnessed how Bruce, under Wanda's hex, had completed his transformation into the Hulk and was now rushing in a specific direction.
"Operator, it seems like the Hulk is rushing towards a City called Johannesburg. The estimated civilian casualties are in the Millions," Ordis stated, alarmed.
Tenno sighed and repositioned himself as he activated Rhino's dash to crash through the final walls, which led to a free fall from the middle of the ship.
He landed on the muddy ground, creating a small crater, where he then began to
continuously use Rhino's Dash, rushing after the Hulk, who was already taking big leaps towards his target.
After some time, Stark finally cornered Ultron in the shipyard. "Ah, the Vibranium's getting away." Ultron noted, but Tony just pointed a missle at Ultron, ceasing him in place.
"And you're not going anywhere."
"Of course not, I'm already there. You'll catch on. But first, you might need to catch Dr. Banner."
Stark angrily shot the missile at Ultron's body, pieces flying off in every direction, while flying off to find Banner, having a bad feeling about Ultrons last statement.
Tony flew over the trees while speaking into his visor. "News or footage, keyword: Hulk." He commanded as news footage of Hulk destroying the city came into view.
"Natasha, I could really use a lullaby."
He requested, but only Klint responded.
"Well, that's not gonna happen. Not for a while. The whole team is down, you've got no backup here." Tony began to think hard,and then made a decision.
"I'm calling in VERONICA," he announced, issuing the command. The next second, his sensors soared as he catched something incredibly fast, rushing towards the city.
"Found you, Kid," he hissed with an evil smirk, as his thruster began to fire in overdrive, while Veronica's parts began to descend into the atmosphere.
After a while, they surround him and began to create the Hulkbuster armor around him.
He continued to watch the channels and the fast-moving person also heading for the city.
"Seems like we really got ourselves some maniacs here. It's not enough that you've got the Hulk to crash out on civilians, no, now you also want in on the fun. You just wait kid, I've got enough Veronica for both of you," he angrily proclaimed with an evil grin on his face, before the last piece of the armor closed around his head and its eyes began to glow menacingly.
Tony arrived, just as the Hulk was wreaking havoc in the city again, after borrowing his way out of his little prison. "Alright, everybody, stand down!" He said to the crowd, after which he turned towards the Hulk.
"You listening? That little witch is messing with your mind. You're stronger than her, you're smarter than her, you're Bruce Banner."
That only made Hulk angrier, as he roared. "Right, right, right! Don't mention puny Banner." Tony tried to take back what he said, but Hulk just threw a car at him. Tony caught it, but Hulk then proceeded to punche through it, directly hittin Veronica's head.
"Okay," Tony said as he flew at Hulk, taking him by the neck and pulling him through the concrete ground while flying.
Hulk managed to kick him off, and for a second, they were in a standoff as Hulk began charging at Tony again.
Just as he was about to jump, something crashed through a wall and tackled Hulk into the next building.
"Oh, hey there, Speedy, getting second thoughts about your big plan?"
Tony asked Rhino, mistaking him for Pietro.
"But what are you even wearing there?
Did Daddy Ultron make that for you? That's definitely my design though, he never figured out how to make something Original on his own." He continued, but Tenno just ignored him and activated Rhino's Iron Skin while holding up one arm, just as the Hulk jumped at him, throwing a punch.
"Look out," Tony yelled, but instead of dodging, Tenno took the hit head-on, catching the Hulk's fist with his bare hand, while slowly turning his head towards him, starring him dead in the eyes.
