Observer POV
Tony and Bruce were looking outside the window in awe, taking in the picture which unraveled itself before their eyes, the very Planet, their whole existence had spun around. The Planet they had endangered with their own creation. It was much for them to take in.
Meanwhile, Thor looked around the place, seemingly intrigued by the ship's artistic design, brushing over every surface with his fingers.
Eventually, Steve straightened himself while looking at everyone in turn, breaking the silence that had taken over since they had agreed on the Plan.
"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire, and that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out."
Tony and Bruce finally turned around, both nodding in agreement, as Steve continued.
"All they want is to live their lives in peace, and that's not going to happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done, and find out what Ultron's been building. We find Barton, and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters, and we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right."
Tenno eventually finished what he did on the console, leaning on the deactivated Rhino, which sat on its knees beside him as he looked around the strange Team he had been thrown into. Sometimes though, While looking around for nothing in particular, he sometimes stole glances at the way younger Wander than he was used to, before he spoke up.
"Everything is prepared and ready for combat, I say let's get on with it," he proposed, fidgeting with the amulet around his neck, before vanishing in a flash, as Rhino began to stand up.
"Let's end this Bain of Humanity's existence," Rhinos' metallic voice echoed through the ship as the Liset started to descend and breach Earth's atmosphere, heading straight for Sokovia.
The Ship decelerated just before hitting the ground and opened up its ramp, dropping off the Team before jumping off into the distance again.
Tony and Bruce looked after the ship in awe, Tony eventually turning to Rhino.
"Someday you will have to tell me how you do all that laws of reality-bending stuff," he said half jokingly through the coms, Rhino completely ignoring his joust.
"Stark, stop the banter and start searching for Ultron," Steve's voice could be heard through the coms. "Let's start the first phase of the Plan. Wanda and Pietro evacuate as many civilians as possible simultaneously. Let's first get them out of the danger zone, but the farther the better."
The Twins nodded in his direction, and Pietro took his sister before dashing off into the distance.
"I wouldn't mind a princess carry myself," Natasha joked, while letting out a sudden scream as Rhino scooped her up and began to jump to the rooftops, from where on he began to run on top of the roofs of Sokovia, while Natasha hung over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
"That's not very gentlemanly," she managed to say between jumps, while checking her wristband, where she could see her and the team's current location.
"I need at least one arm for things like this," Rhino's emotionless voice said to her, as he shot out his Parazon mid-air, propelling both of them over a distance he wouldn't be able to take on without letting her go otherwise.
After some minutes of jumping around, they finally reached the location they had chosen for Natasha. Rhino slowly placed her down and was taken aback for a second by the disheveled Woman before his eyes, her hair standing in all directions.
"What are you looking at? Hang down from a Tarzan's back for half an eternity and try to look good yourself first, before you judge me," she said, agitated, while trying to fix her hair in a broken car window.
Rhino shrugged, jumped off the park house roof, before shooting out his Parazon and using the momentum to swing out of Natasha's field of view.
"Your man's in the church, boss. I think he's waiting for you." Friday said to Tony, as he changed his trajectory and headed for his new Target.
Tony came through the roof and began to scan the building for any signs of danger.
"Come to confess your sins?" Ultrons Voice suddenly came from all around the room.
Tony looked at his auditory scanners, which showed the source of the voice to be behind him.
"I don't know, how much time you got?" He replied while turning around to face him, as Ultron spoke up again. "More than you."
"Uhhh, you look… very… human, I'm sorry, is that an Insult to you? I don't want to be insensitive…" Tony joked, while glancing over the new body Ultron had made for himself.
"You're stalling to protect the people," Ultron said, floating before Tony, his new Adamantium body presented to him in all its glory. Tony's scanners fixated on the Stone on his forehead and analyzed the readings while he kept talking.
"Well, that is the mission. Did you forget?"
Tony replied.
"I've moved beyond your mission. I'm free." Suddenly, the floor erupted, and the Vibranium core, placed beneath, came shooting out of the ground and anchored itself to the ground.
"What, you think you're the only one stalling?"
Ultron sarcastically questioned, while floating higher into the air, the sun directly behind him from Tony's perspective, giving him the illusion of a Halo.
"There's the rest of the Vibranium, Ordis calculations better be right," Friday reported as Tony moved further away from the Vibranium core, keeping an eye on Ultron's position.
"This is how you end, Tony. This is peace in my time." Ultron stated, raising his arms dramatically. Meanwhile, Tony's scanner began to light up as Ultrons' drones finally activated, Tony no longer able to hide his grin.
"Ordis now," Tony yelled into his helmet, Ultron laying his head to the side in confusion, having heard the command, as a sudden electric impulse came down on them from above, making the Drones stagger in their stead.
Ultron looked up in annoyance, still unable to track the ship, before glancing down at Tony again.
"What do you hope to accomplish with this emp? My drones will be up in a second."
He began as he instinctively turned intangible, and Thor's Hammer passed through his head.
"We took your eyes, now it's us many against the single you, not the other way around, we thought it would be a little bit easier on our part that way," Tony quipped, as Ultron turned to see an angry Thor jumping towards him.
"That won't help you very much, though," Ultron replied as he just turned completely intangible, and Thor went through him just as his hammer did.
"But like that, you also can't attack," Tony said in a mocking Tone, while heading for the Vibranium core, his blasters charging up for a big attack.
"You dare?" Ultron jelled and shot a laser from his forehead, heading directly for Tony's head.
The next second, though, it bounced back and hit him square in the chest, making him tumble a bit, as he felt for his wound, which was already closing.
Looking up in confusion, he saw Steve Rogers standing right before Tony, his shield placed precisely where the beam would have struck, and Pietro, leaning on the Vibranium core, standing next to him.
"I see, you really want to fight against me," Ultron said, directly addressing Pietro, who just smiled at him, with a grim look in his eyes.
"You betrayed us, you said we would destroy the Avengers, not the world. This is madness," he stated, while slowly walking around the core in circles.
"How did you kno…" Ultron began but got cut off by Wanda, who appeared from behind a pillar.
„Does it matter? We trusted you, and most importantly, we helped you. And now it's up to us to stop what we have helped to start."
He looked at both of them with deep disappointment before floating downwards, making everyone step back.
„It had to be done," he murmured, nearly in an inner monologue. "They will understand once they see it," he finally stated, before firing his laser again and aiming for the ground this time, going on a complete rampage.
Pietro began to run around pushing everyone to safety, and once Ultron was done, nothing of the old church was still standing, while the ground was sliced apart.
"Then come, I am waiting, entertain me," he said, before landing on the ground, clearly meaning to activate the Vibranium core.
"Go!" Steve yelled, making Ultron turn around just in time to see Rhino come flying right at him. He tried to react, but was too slow as the metal warrior landed directly next to him, stomping into the ground.
Ultrons' body made a flip, and then suddenly, as he was midair, he began to decelerate to a stop, hanging there, unable to move.
"Begin the cage," Rhino yelled, as Pietro began to rush around Ultrons' hovering body, pushing the prearranged lightning rods into the ground all around him.
Meanwhile, Thor began to ascend, flying into the sky while gathering lightning from the forming clouds around.
"Are you really sure you can take this?" Steve finally said through the intercom, the question directed at Rhino.
"Yes, just stay on the timing," he answered as Thor began his descent.
"STAY DOWN!!!" he screamed as an incredible amount of energy was thrown downwards, directly at Ultrons unmoving body.
Rhino counted the milliseconds just before it hit, then activated his Iron skin, taking the electric shock that came with it. Most of it struck Ultrons' form and then the lightning rods all around him, jumping from one to another.
The next second, now forced to be tangible because of the electricity, Thor's Hammer landed on Ultron's body, its mighty mass hitting him square in the chest.
And it did so just in time, as in the next moment Ultron began to move in real time again, pushed into the ground by the accumulated acceleration.
"What is this? How is this possible!" he yelled in anger as he tried to lift Thor's hammer from his chest but wasn't able to.
Because of the lightning rods all around, he also couldn't turn intangible, as they kept continuously jumping around, hitting him again and again.
"Magic, my friend," Tenno suddenly said as he appeared before Ultrons' eyes.
He instantly shot at him with his laser, but it just passed through his forehead and vanished into the sky.
"You ain't the only one with that trick around here, my friend," he said as he took Rhino's Parisan and slowly pushed it into Ultrons neck.
Thor landed next to him and took Ultrons' head and Arms, holding them in place while keeping him from severing the connection to the Warframe.
"Jarvis, this is your turn," Tenno said to Rhino, as a golden data stream began to crawl through the cable and into Ultrons' neck, who, in turn, began to spasm on the spot.
He looked around in worry, realizing that the electrical charge from the lightning rods wouldn't hold on for much longer, so he began to improvise.
"This will hurt quite a bit," he murmured, holding onto the amulet around his neck, as he began to cast a spell.
"What are you doing there, Tenno? This ain't part of the plan," Tony said through the speakers of his armor, hovering above them, as their com systems seemingly had problems with interference from the electricity.
"He adapted to the plan, began to absorb the electricity, I had to adapt as well." Tenno managed to press out between agonizing seconds of tunneling Wanda's chaos magic through his own spectral body.
"Oh, I hate that I can't use my own magic in this form," he cursed in his head, while finally finishing the last part.
Then a lot of things happened very fast.
First, Jarvis downloaded himself into Ultrons' body completely, and the Parazon retracted into Rhino.
Then the electricity around them died out, and Ultron faded through Mjölnir and Thor's hands, before turning around and shooting him in the head.
Meanwhile, Ultrons' reactivated Drones came crashing down on the rest of the Avengers and began tearing down the lighting rods Pietro had placed all around, while he in turn tried to save as many poles as possible.
Then finally, Tenno released his spell, and the space around all of them began to shatter and distort. Still, not in time though, before one of Ultrons' drones could activate the Vibranium core, the construct doing its job, and the City lifting itself into the sky.
"FRIDAY?" Tony yelled into his headset as he began taking down the flying drones all around him. "Sokovia's going for a ride Boss. We didn't manage to stop him in time."
