I smiled warmly as she held my hands tight; I could feel the warmth of her hand on mine, and it felt like home once again.
"Go ahead and tell me, Cassie. I promise you that not even the walls will hear it from me," she said to me, giving me her words, and I nodded my head slowly in agreement because, of course, I believed her.
"He found me when Andrew threw me out of the house. Actually, Andrew had sold the house without informing me, and by the time I got home, my things were being thrown out, and I had nowhere else to go." I began narrating.
