Tt was a beautiful day, the sun shining brightly in a clear blue sky, casting a warm glow over the peaceful neighborhood.
Gentle breezes rustled the leaves of nearby trees, their branches swaying softly.
The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the distant chirping of birds created a calming melody.
In front of a modest resort, Ha-Joon and In-Su stood facing Joon-Seo, Yuki, and Nira.
The three siblings' faces were filled with anger and annoyance, their hair slightly tousled by the wind, as if reflecting their turbulent emotions.
The sunlight caught their hair, highlighting streaks of gold and chestnut, adding a strange contrast to their fierce expressions.
Ha-Joon crossed his arms, his eyes blazing with anger. He sighed deeply, then cleared his throat, voice low but steady. "So... are you all happy? Seeing your blood, your Sibling suffering?" he asked, his tone edged with frustration.
Joon-Seo took a step closer to Ha-Joon, his face hardening. "Don't ask them," he snapped. "Do they even care?"
In-Su, standing slightly behind, scoffed softly and shook his head.
"Why are we even here? If you're going to keep bringing up that boy, just let me go," Joon-Seo added, his voice tense with irritation.
In-Su gently pushed Joon-Seo back, trying to calm the situation.
"Look, we're not here to fight," he said softly but firmly. "We're here to talk things out."
Nira, arms crossed, smirked sharply.
"Where's there to talk about?" she sneered. "His sister's just a gold digger. She only loves his money."
Yuki sneered back, his eyes glinting with disdain.
"Don't bother explaining it for him… Sis," he whispered, spite evident in her voice.
Joon-Seo's eyes narrowed as he looked away, fists clenched.
"The only reason I don't let her be with him," he said through gritted teeth, "is because of their pride. It's disgusting—they don't value my sister."
Ha-Joon sighed deeply, then looked at them with a gentle smile, trying to shift the conversation.
"You all have your problems," he began softly. "But let me tell you something about love, Love is not something you can force or something you can take away. Ji-Hoo and Joy—they truly love each other. That's what matters most."
Joon-Seo looked down, tears forming in his eyes slightly. He sighed heavily, voice trembling.
"I know my sister loves him so much," he whispered, "and I also know he loves her too. I just…" He trailed off, tears spilling over as he struggled to speak.
"She's the only person I have in this whole world…"
''Our parents died when we were so young, I was 13 and she was 5, I had to take care of her, look for money, feed her, cloth her and all.... that's why is hard for me....'' Joon-Seo poured out tears streaming down his cheek.
Yuki finally smiled gently.
"Yeah… we're sorry to hear that, we didn't know. We'll let them be together. Promise," she said sincerely.
''I didn't know '' Nira said and sighs softly '' We're sorry for calling you beggars'' she added regretful.
''It's okay it's nothing...'' Joon-Seo said voice low '' Am sure Joy isn't also hurt by that..'' he added.
The siblings exchanged a heartfelt hug, their tension easing in the warmth of reconciliation.
Ha-Joon smiled, comforted by their change of heart, and In-Su nodded in agreement.
"But," Nira started, glancing at Ha-Joon with curiosity, "how are we going to fix this?"
Ha-Joon smirked confidently. "Don't worry," he said, his eyes shining with determination. "I have a plan."
--------------
Joy sat on the floor of her room, her knees drawn up to her chest as tears quietly streamed down her face.
The soft sound of her sniffles filled the quiet room. Suddenly, there was a gentle knock at the door, breaking the silence.
"Who is it?" she asked softly, her voice trembling.
"It's me, Joy," came Joon-Seo's voice from the other side.
She hesitated for a moment, then hummed softly in response. "Mmm…"
After a brief pause, the door slowly opened, and Joon-Seo stepped inside, hands behind his back, head lowered slightly.
He approached her quietly, then gently sat beside her on the floor.
"How are you?" he asked softly, his voice filled with concern.
Joy looked away, her eyes red and swollen. "Do I look fine?" she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
Joon-Seo smiled gently, despite her sadness. "You look terrible… but you still look good to me," he said softly.
She nodded, sobbing quietly. "Why are you here?" she finally asked, gazing out the window at the fading daylight.
He took a deep breath and reached behind him, pulling out a red big square shape box he had been hiding.
"I came to give you this," he said, offering her the box.
Joy stared at it curiously. "What is it?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Joon-Seo's lips curled into a tender smile.
"A dress. A white dress—the one you wanted me to buy for so long. I finally got it," he said softly.
Joy's face lit up with a faint smile. "Really?" she whispered, carefully taking the box and opening it.
Inside, there was a beautiful white dress, delicate and elegant.
She looked at it, her eyes shimmering with emotion. "Thanks," she said softly, setting the box aside.
"You can go now," she added, her voice steadying just a little.
Joon-Seo sighed deeply, his expression tender yet regretful. "I'm sorry, Joy. I'm just doing what's best for you, looking out for you" he said quietly.
Joy nodded gently, her voice almost a whisper. "Yeah, I know. Thanks, brother."
He stood up slowly.
"I'm going back now. Make sure you wear this dress tonight meet me outside''
he said softly. "I'll see you there."
With a final glance, he closed the door quietly behind him. The room fell into peaceful silence. Joy looked at the dress again, her lips curling into a small, hopeful smile.
As night fell, Joy stepped out onto the soft sands of the beach, bathed in moonlight.
She wore a stunning white dress — delicate and flowing, with a subtle shimmer that caught the light with every movement.
The dress was simple yet elegant, with a fitted bodice that hugged her figure perfectly, and a flowing skirt that fluttered gently in the ocean breeze.
Tiny lace details traced along the neckline and sleeves, adding a touch of intricate beauty.
Her short brown hair was styled neatly, with gentle waves framing her face, and a few loose strands softly falling over her forehead, giving her a relaxed yet polished look.
She took a moment to look around, taking in the simple yet beautiful decorations that adorned the beach — strings of fairy lights hung between wooden poles, casting a warm, gentle glow.
White lanterns floated on the water, their soft light dancing on the surface of the sea.
Elegant floral arrangements with white roses and lilies decorated the tables and the arch, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere.
As she moved closer to the gathering, her eyes widened in admiration.
She paused for a moment, a small smile forming on her lips.
"Wow," she whispered softly, her voice filled with awe.
Just then, Joon-Seo approached her with a gentle smile, holding her hand.
"Joy!" he called out warmly, his eyes shining with pride.
His smile was tender as he looked at her.
"You look so beautiful," he said softly, his voice thick with emotion.
He gently brushed a hand over her hair, calling her "my little sister…" with a proud, heartfelt smile.
Then, with a slight teasing grin, he gently pulled her forward to join the others.
Nearby, In-Su and Ha-Joon were casually enjoying snacks, chatting and laughing. Ha-Joon was munching on some chips, eyes bright, while In-Su waved cheerfully at Joy.
"Joy! You look amazing," Ha-Joon called, wrapping her in a friendly hug.
She chuckled softly and returned the hug, her cheeks flushing slightly even though with the freckles.
In-Su nodded approvingly, a warm smile on his face. Joy responded with a soft smile of her own, feeling happy and loved.
Suddenly, a faint glow appeared from somewhere beyond the crowd, catching everyone's attention.
Heads turned as a figure emerged, dressed in pure white, radiating elegance and charm.
His jet-black hair was neatly styled, falling just perfectly around his face. His smile was warm and inviting, and his piercing green eyes shimmered in the moonlight.
In his hands, he held a bouquet of fresh flowers—white roses and lilies, matching the theme of the party, symbolizing purity and love.
Joy's mouth opened slightly in surprise.
"Ji-Hoo…" she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion as he stepped forward, holding out the bouquet.
She put a hand over her mouth, her eyes shimmering with tears.
Carefully, she took the flowers from him and smiled softly.
"Ji-Hoo, what is this?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Ji-Hoo's smile grew tender.
"This… is a celebration of our love," he said gently. "Ha-Joon arranged it, though," he added with a shy chuckle.
Joy giggled, her cheeks flushing a brighter red.
She glanced at Joon-Seo, her eyes asking silently if this was real.
Before she could speak, Joon-Seo nodded with a warm smile, and she threw her arms around him tightly.
"Thank you so much," she whispered, her voice filled with gratitude.
Joon-Seo patted her head softly, a proud and happy expression on his face.
"Hey, let's get the party started," Yuki's voice suddenly rang out, cutting through the moment.
Him and Nira approached, both dressed beautifully in white, their smiles bright.
"Nira! You look gorgeous," Joy said happily, smiling at her .
"Thanks, Joy," Nira replied with a sweet smile. "And I love your hair—so shiny and perfect."
Yuki grinned, his eyes twinkling.
"I've never seen my brother so happy, so smitten," she teased, patting Ji-Hoo's back.
Ji-Hoo blushed, whispering, "Stop."
Ha-Joon, ever the playful one, grinned.
"What are we going to do now?" he asked.
In-Su chuckled. "You'll keep quiet, silly boy," he said, dragging Ha-Joon back to the group.
Joy clapped her hands. "Let's dance, I guess!" she suggested, and everyone nodded enthusiastically.
Music started, and soon the beach was alive with dancing — some crazy, some slow and romantic.
Joy giggled, her hands resting gently on Ji-Hoo's shoulder, while his arms encircled her waist. They were the only couple slow-dancing, lost in their own world.
"Ji-Hoo," she whispered softly as they swayed, "Isn't this great? After everything we have gone through I almost lost hope… we're finally together."
Ji-Hoo nodded, smiling warmly.
"I'm just glad I get to do this with you, and my siblings are happy.'' he said glancing at them who were dancing happily.
'' I never got to say this to you, even though I told you is been long I have ever said it again, so I am going to say this today and here...'' Ji-Hoo began.
''From the moment I met you, I knew I had found someone special. You have brought such joy and love into my life that I cannot imagine living without you. Your presence fills me with warmth and delights every single day that passes; your beauty never ceases to astound me.''
'' I love you Joy , I love you so much, I want spend the rest of my life with only you..,..." he said quietly.
'' Aww, Ji-Hoo even though, I didn't prepare for this, but they are three words I will forever hold because of you...I love you too," she whispered back.
Ji-Hoo smiled, pouting softly, his eyes danced with happiness.
Then, slowly, Ji-Hoo leaned in, and their lips met in a tender, sweet kiss — the kind that made everyone watching blush a little.
As they pulled back, smiling shyly, Ha-Joon called out loudly,
" come here, you lovebirds!" He shouted, and In-Su nudged his head.
''When are you ever going to find love?'' he asked smiling teasingly.
'' That question geos same to you too..'' Ha-Joon replied.
Everyone burst into laughter, and Joy and Ji-Hoo held hands,
walking back to join the others, their hearts full of happiness.
