According to history written in this ancient text, The universe started with a flash of light, and two beings came from the light, the GodMother and the DreadFather. These titans began to explore their universe, and immediately found it to be vast and empty. The DreadFather found strange comfort in this emptiness, but the GodMother was displeased, finding it to be cold and missing something, something vibrant and full of life. So for a while, she tried to create, and create she did. With her great power she brought forth a being like her, another creator, who shared her vision for a vibrant universe. This being, while not as powerful as her, began to create immediately. He brought forth the stars and the planets, creating vibrant skies and worlds. The GodMother was pleased, but still felt like something was missing. She made seven other beings with powers who began to spread their influence onto the universe. They filled the planets with magic and vegetation, water and fire, air and dirt, and finally peace. The GodMother was once again pleased, but knew something was still missing. After conversing with these immortal beings she created, they came to the idea of creating more life, mortal life. And so the GodMother set forth the first being to create life on the planets he made. He brought forth animals and insects, fish and birds, and finally man and woman. The mortals they sought fit to live upon these worlds. The GodMother was very pleased with these mortals, finding joy in watching them live and grow upon the worlds they inhabited. She sent her Beings out to govern them, and these beings became the gods. The gods got along at first, working together, and having children to make more gods, but eventually discourse began to spread among them and they began to war against each other. The GodMother was very displeased with this, and created a new god to keep them in line, a god stronger than the rest, but also a god who would know peace. So she made a brother to the goddess of peace, and he became the god of storms. His presence alone put most of the gods back in line, except the god of war. He and the god of storms battled regularly, with the god of storms winning regularly. This new noisy and vibrant universe upset the DreadFather greatly, and he asked the GodMother to get rid of these gods and mortals, and she refused. He once again asked her more firmly, saying he would do something about them if she continued to refuse, and yet she refused again. The DreadFather asked her one last time to get rid of these beings and mortals,and she refused one last time, stating she would defend them with her life. The DreadFather left to his own corner of the universe, and in his anger and hatred, he began to create beings himself. He created 5 beings who loathed and hated the gods and mortals, and created demonic beasts who craved nothing but chaos and destruction. He brought them before the GodMother and she was very displeased. He told her this was her doing for not listening and let loose his creations upon the worlds. The Gods quickly rallied behind the god of storms, who bested any creature who stepped before him, but the gods still began to dwindle, even the some of the original beings dying and disappearing. In anger the Godmother decided to strike back, bringing the god of storms with her to strike at the source of this dread and anguish brought upon the universe. The DreadFather and GodMother clashed and there was once again a bright flash of light, and when the light was gone the DreadFather stood victorious. There was nothing left of the god of storms, but the DreadFather did not kill the GodMother for he could not, instead he split her into fragments and scattered them across the universe. His creations were free to wipe out the rest of the gods. As the gods began to fall one by one chaos spread amongst the realm. The first being grabbed his three kids, triplets, and bestowed his magic upon them. One was given the power to create, one to destroy, and one to keep the other two in line. He then used the last of his magic to hide them from the DreadFather. After they were hidden, the DreadFather used his power and his creations to erase the rest of the universe. The triplets hid for eons, waiting for the right time to come out of hiding, and do as their nature told them to do, to create, and so they did. They created the planet named Terra, and the stars around it, still hiding from the DreadFather.
