Danzai was too surprised to react. He has been accused of killing an embodiment which was absurd. All he ever killed were golems,he never even killed anyone at the billions arc

Why would he be accused, to make it worse killing. What he couldn't bring himself to do at the temple of blood but jack was determined that he had done it, and there was no one to cover for him
Just like that, his hero life had ended
Davi stood silently and watched the event play out. He believed danzai was innocent, but he wasn't in a position to talk. After all, two members of the elite guild was right in front of him. Rin wanted to say something but ai stopped him just in time, because his words could decide his fate. Nevertheless,it was all down to how danzai would react
After talking with jack for a while, the two members of the elite guild took danzai with them. From what they could all see, danzai was going to be held captive in the academies premises were he would be questioned for his actions .
Arthur and Sakamoto waited for the others to arrive while cloud slept peacefully. After about one hour,they spotted Rin and Ai coming towards their direction with Davi behind them
After welcoming them, they talked for a while before Sakamoto noticed that danzai wasn't with them. After asking, Rin explains everything to them and they were left speechless but Arthur seemed to know about this elite guild Rin had mentioned
"The guys who took danzai, do they look alike?"
"Yeah, they were almost like twins"
"It's them"
Arthur seemed to have knowledge on them but wasn't sure how to go about it. As Arthur explained his involvement with the elite guild, soothing breeze blew through calming thier nerves
But one thing was sure at this point, Arthur and cloud are part of the elite guild and that was the reason why they didn't participate in the second test.
According to his explanation, the elite guild were a group of embodiments that came to earth before the final war began but unlike exiles,they weren't banished but decided to descend on their own. During the billions arc, Arthur and cloud were sent by their leader and Sakamoto to find and save hoshino danzai which the twins couldn't grasp why. Ever since then,they have been looking for a way to get away with harming him intentionally.
While they discussed,a boy with beautiful eyes and onyx black hair walked towards them

Danzai had already become accustomed to the room he was kept. A dim structure with enough windows for adequate sunlight and air during the day time. The room was mostly pale in comparison to his home back at the duplex but it was far better than the slump he lived in back at nayuta. Equipped inside the room were different kinds of gym tools which he can use to get physically stronger than usual. He kept working out until one of the twin entered the room
"Oh... Training I see"
Danzai decided it was best to ignore him for now and continued to excersice
The twin glared at danzai for a while then suddenly stabbed him from the back of his hands to the wooden floor which made danzai groan in pain
"You seemed to be enjoying yourself so I had to call your attention back to reality"
He removed the sword from his hands and held the them close to his face healing the wound in the process. The pain that came from the wound alone was enough to make danzai black out for some minutes before recovering but danzai's mind was thrilled

But his face didn't say the same. There were traces of pain written all over his face but he was smiling despite all that. Danzai glanced at a corner and saw light lying on the floor. She seemed to have snuck in while he was training but the pain didn't let him think straight
"So you're gonna start talking"
"I didn't kill the embodiment of luck,I barely killed 3 golems to begin with"
The twin stabbed him again but danzai didn't act surprised,he knew that if it would end that quickly, there would have been no need to capture him and he was ready to receive the next wave of pain that would follow
Seconds after he started healing, danzai's mind went blank,all he could barely see was fading images of the ceiling that turned white with time. Minutes later, he snapped out of it and smirked at the guy
"This is not going to get you anywhere"
"I can do this all day..."
"We'll see..."
