As danzai laid cold on the floor, the golems wasted no time closing in on him. Meanwhile in danzai's mind, he's in a dark endless space where he sits on a chair awaiting who was inside the shadows. Several seconds later, the embodiment killer danzai and rin Fought in the billions arc walks up to him with a smile on his face. Like that time, he wore a white butler suit and carried around a walking stick. When danzai caught sight of him, his gaze hardened
"We never got to discuss alot last time...i didn't even get your name"
"Danzai... hoshino danzai"
"Hoshino,huh?"
The smirk on his face faded almost as fast as the name leaked out of danzai's mouth
"My name is x... I've come to strike a deal with you"
"Why would I strike a deal with you, it's like making a deal with the devil"
"That's precisely the point... If you don't know,I'm the true embodiment killer of time,i just transfered some of my powers to those vessels back at the billions arc to find you,but you came to me"
Danzai listened closely to grasp everything he said
"So why should i give you my body"
"You're the key to winning the next war—"
Danzai couldn't hold his laughter in anymore and let it all out which angered x. To him that was a ridiculous request since he's human and wouldn't be of any kind of help should they use his body for their deeds. Nevertheless he decided to find out why
"There are other strong embodiments right?...so why do you choose me"
"It's simple. We need you. I remembered telling you that i am the embodiment of time...that dagger you wield is a time blade by the name light"
What... He knows her name
"What do you plan on using my body for?"
"Union...of devils"
"Heavens no... I won't let you even if you kill me"
"Well I can't have you dieing...so what do you sa—"
"No"
Danzai's answer was as clear as day. Even a deaf man could tell he didn't want his body to inhabit demons or even worse devils. X seem to have known that that was the outcome and didn't even flinch
"Very well then... I don't need the body right now, it's as weak as ragdoll"
"Wha—"
"Make sure to train it well... I'll be back"
"How do I get out of here?"
X ignores him and walks away back into the shadows where he came from. Danzai sat down for a while i. Silence before hearing faint calls for him. As the sound increases,he realizes who it was
Outside, danzai's body was on the verge of breakdown with the attacks targeted at him. From the inside, danzai struggled to break out but couldn't. It was like something held him back. Light had even transformed into her human form to wake him but ended up getting hurt badly. From where he was,he could hear her slowly breathing as she struggled to wake him. Overcomed with anger,he shouted out into the void
"Damn you x..."
X walks back to him
"You called?"
"Unify me..."
"No can't do... You're weak"
Danzai bit his lip in anger and bowed him head down. Anger slowly accumulated in his body and cursed marks slowly revealed on his body. X was speechless with surprise written on his face. He had never seen someone accumulate so much anger at a stretch that could self destruct his body if not controlled well. As danzai's anger drew even more and showed on his skin where light took sight of, she calmed him down knowing the repercussion of releasing that nuch anger. As she calmed him down, danzai's vision of x slowly became blurry but the anger still lingered.
"Guess that was all it took for you to break out"
X turned and walked back to where he had come from and left a few words for danzai
"Anger is suicide...but I like it"
Danzai awakened to the scene where light stood in front of him, defending him from the barriage of attacks targeted at him from the golems. Light clearly wasn't in good shape to take another fatal hit from them but had to hold on for danzai, not knowing that danzai had woken up
"Light"
She turned, shocked to here danzai's voice
Her words met a sudden stop as she's sent flying with a punch from one of the golems

Danzai's heartbeat stopped for a second as his gaze turned to the golem's before glancing at light
