The rumors only got worse by the day, though the stares and whispers continued there were no longer insults or provocation. Still.. all the whispers and stares were drowned out by the conversations the three of them had. From the hallway to the lunchroom and even in the training room. The only time they were separated was during class and when they went to sleep. Though that last one would change. One day Cassie was late and naturally they went to check on her, maybe she was sick. They couldn't have prepared themselves for what they saw as her room was blocked in by a chair and there were notes all over it. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, it wasn't supposed to be like this.. despite her not showing it he knew she was always suffering due to her flaw. Taking a glance at Nephis, her face had a rare moment of anger painted on it. Throwing the chair blocking the door and ripping the notes off, she opened it only to be met with Cassie at a desk reading, a sad smile on her face.
"After a couple tries of opening it I gave up.."
This didn't make sense, what did she do to deserve all of this? Even the rumors themselves didn't warrant this behavior. They didn't even torment him like this.. no, he understood now. It's because Cassie was seen as weak alone. He was seen as someone crazy but weak, Nephis was seen as strong, but Cassie was just seen as weak. They had to end this today. But how could they? After all, they couldn't change the fact that Cassie wasn't a fighter.
So it was simple, they would just have to change the opinion of the two around her.

Nephis was holding Sunny's hand while walking down the hallway, it would practically confirm the rumors of them being her respective boy and girl toys. That was until Sunny intertwined his fingers with hers. They had to be seen as equals one step at a time. She walked him to his wilderness class for a discussion he'd planned out in his head multiple times. Letting her wait at the door, he went in.
---
"Professor Julius, are you in there?"
He could hear the spin of a chair as he saw Professor Julius.
"Ah Sunless! My favorite student from this year!"
He was also his only student, but he digressed, letting out a little chuckle.
"I was wondering if it would be possible to take off class for around three days.. I have some business but right after that I'll be back!"
Professor Julius scratched his white mustache, his wrinkled face getting even more defined as he smiled.
"Well, you do know that there's an exam in four days, do you not? These past three days were supposed to be for review."
Damnation, it slipped off his mind completely. Though it didn't matter, he'll worry about it in the future. After all, why worry for something in the future when the time comes he'll just worry about it then.
"I'll make sure to study on my own time!"

For the next three days Sunny would be joining the combat class with Nephis. During this time he was going to make sure everyone knew that both of them were strong. Still, that was something he had to put on the back of his mind. Currently, he was sleeping on a chair which didn't allow him to sleep at all. In the bed were Cassie and Nephis sleeping. After what happened to Cassie they couldn't let each other stay in a room alone, though him and Nephis would be fine, it's better safe than sorry. Giving up on sleeping he opened his eyes only to jump back, almost falling out of the chair as he saw Nephis looking at him while laying down.
She placed 2 pillows next to her leaving a space enough to just barely fit him. He didn't waste time, the pain in his back sinking away just the same as he sunk into the mattress.
When they awoke the divider was no longer and all of their legs were tangled up. Sunny was hanging off the bottom of the bed and Nephis the side.
As for Cassie, it seemed as if she had the best sleep she has had in a while.
