Chapter 80 - Chapter 78: Hulk Out of Control

The kitchen's chatter stopped. Wanda froze, spoon mid-air. Kara turned. James's expression darkened. "Go on."

Turing continued, "The military deployed sonic tanks and heavy weapons but suffered heavy losses. Hulk destroyed half the campus before Adam intervened."

Wanda set down her utensils. "Adam and Hulk fought again?"

A blurry hologram showed Hulk clashing with Adam's blue energy, shockwaves shattering glass for miles. "The fight lasted 17 minutes," Turing said. "Hulk escaped, location unknown. General Ross issued a global warrant."

Kara wiped her hands. "This Hulk's the green giant?"

James shut the hologram. "Ross won't stop."

Wanda grabbed her coat. "We去找 him?"

James paused. "Contact Tony first. He's desperate for a reason."

To Kara, "Sorry for the chaos."

Kara grinned, eyes gleaming. "Beats the Fortress of Solitude."

Wanda laughed. "Dinner first? My goulash is worth five minutes."

James dialed Tony. "Heard you're looking for me."

Tony's haggard hologram appeared, espresso in hand. "Thank God, James! I was about to hack your system. You know about Banner? Worse…"

James listened, face calm. Tony looked exhausted. "I declared Banner a S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist, protected officially," Tony said, rubbing his temples. "But Ross won't listen, calls Hulk a national threat."

Wanda frowned. "What about Adam? They targeting him too?"

Tony shook his head. "Adam's a public hero, retired but popular. The military won't touch him openly. Hulk's different—destruction follows him."

Kara scoffed. "If they didn't provoke him, would Hulk even show? They can just grab people?"

"Worse," Tony whispered. "They're moving gamma research resources, planning something."

James's eyes chilled. "Got it." He ended the call.

Wanda looked to him. Kara's gaze hardened, her disdain for the military clear. James stood. "If the government's playing dirty, we don't play nice."

Wanda's eyes lit up. "Meaning?"

Kara, also caged long, nodded fiercely. James said, "We act. Find Banner, secure him, then show the military Superman's wrath is beyond them."

Kara grinned. "I'm in."

Wanda's fingers sparked. "What're we waiting for?"

James opened a golden portal. "Turing, lock Hulk's last location."

"Confirmed, sir. Canadian border, faint gamma signal."

James's black suit formed, gold veins glowing. "Let's go. Time they learn what uncontrollable means."

Kara paused. "Shouldn't we plan first?"

Tony's hologram flickered back. "Wait! Who's that voice?" He jumped. "Jarvis, analyze! James, you got another woman there?"

James smirked. "Tony, you're Oscar-worthy."

Tony's face filled the hologram, peering. "Let me see! Another superheroine you snagged?"

Kara leaned in, blonde hair falling. "Kara Zor-El."

Tony froze. "Kara Zor-El? Supergirl?! DC's Superwoman!" His eyes gleamed. "Jarvis, check my heart rate! A comic character's standing there!"

Kara smiled. "A fan?"

Tony stroked his beard. "Your suit's better than the comic's miniskirt."

Wanda stepped in front. "Eyes up, Stark!"

James coughed. "Tony."

"Fine," Tony sighed. "But this is wild. Discussing military takedowns with Supergirl? DC wouldn't dare."

He grinned. "You absorb sunlight too, right? If we fight…"

Kara's eyes glowed red. "Wow, heat vision!" Tony cheered. "Show me freeze breath or super speed?"

James sighed. "Tony."

"Alright, business," Tony said. "With two Kryptonians and Wanda, we can go big." A 3D map appeared, red dots marking Ross's gamma bases. "Find Banner first. He's not good."

Jarvis interrupted, "Sir, General Ross is calling."

"Tch, him again," Tony muttered, disconnecting.

Kara raised an eyebrow. "He's always this lively?"

Wanda sighed. "That's him restrained."

James stepped toward the portal. "Let's find Banner."

Kara stretched. "Hope this green guy doesn't swing at me."

Wanda laughed. "Hulk's fine if you don't make him mad."
