Metropolis's center was a warzone. Doomsday roared, its hulking frame bristling with bone spikes, red eyes burning with destruction. It smashed a skyscraper, debris raining down.
Ahead, Clark stood amidst rubble, battered but resolute. Doomsday laughed, hoisting a massive stone slab.
Boom! The slab crashed down—but a black shadow intercepted it, catching it single-handedly. Dust swirled, shockwaves rippling.
Clark looked up, stunned. James stood before him, holding the slab. "You…" Clark gasped.
James didn't turn. "Fall back."
He hurled the slab like a missile, smashing Doomsday's chest, sending it crashing through a building. James vanished, reappearing to deliver a bone-rattling kick. Bang! Doomsday slammed into a power plant, explosions flaring.
Clark stared, speechless. Kara and Wanda landed beside him. "You okay?" Kara asked, helping him up.
Clark blinked. "You are…?"
"Kara Zor-El," she smiled. "Another Kryptonian."
Clark's eyes lit with awe, but Doomsday's roar cut through. It rose, wounds healing, aura fiercer. James hovered, eyeing it. "As expected, it evolves."
Wanda frowned. "Physical attacks won't cut it. We need magic or energy-based strikes."
Kara clenched her fists. "I'll try heat vision."
Clark flew up. "Together!"
James nodded, eyes blazing gold. "Make it quick."
Three Kryptonians charged Doomsday. Its roar shook the city, but a golden figure landed hard—Wonder Woman, Diana, shield raised, sword aimed. "Right on time!" she grinned, battle-ready.
A jet screamed overhead—Batman's Batwing, cannons glowing blue. A gold blur halted—Flash, Barry Allen, waving. "New faces?"
Kara nodded, Clark smiling. "Barry, don't outrun us."
Barry grinned. "I'll go slow. Maybe."
Doomsday charged, shattering the ground. "Now!" James commanded.
Kara's heat vision blasted, staggering Doomsday. Clark followed, a supersonic punch rocking its head. Diana leaped, her sword slashing a bone spike. Wanda hurled a massive boulder with chaos magic, knocking Doomsday back.
James launched a golden energy orb, blasting Doomsday through skyscrapers. The Batwing's armor-piercing rounds exploded, and Barry's speed disrupted Doomsday's balance.
The battlefield froze: Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Scarlet Witch, James, Flash, and Batman's tech, all hammering Doomsday, its roars drowned by their onslaught—a living masterpiece.
But Doomsday convulsed, spikes growing, muscles bulging. "It's evolving!" Diana shouted.
"No time!" Clark gritted.
James, assessing Doomsday's power, wanted the team to feel involved. He kicked Doomsday skyward, then shattered space, pulling everyone into the mirror dimension's warped reality.
"Where are we?!" Barry gaped at the inverted city.
"Space magic?" Diana gripped her sword.
Clark and Kara exchanged shocked glances. "You know magic?" Clark asked James.
James, runes swirling, smirked. "A small trick."
Batman's comms failed. "Our new friend's full of surprises," he growled.
Doomsday's roar interrupted, crashing onto an inverted building. "End it!" James ordered.
In the mirror dimension, they unleashed full power. Clark and Kara's fists pummeled Doomsday, snapping spikes. Diana's sword carved space, severing its arm. Barry's speed harried it, and Wanda's magic twisted buildings into weapons, smashing Doomsday.
James wove a golden array. "Spatial Lock!" Air solidified, trapping Doomsday in an invisible cage, its fists useless.
The team landed, panting. Barry collapsed, laughing. "That was wild!"
Diana sheathed her sword, eyeing James. "Your magic's formidable."
Clark clapped his shoulder. "We owe you."
Wanda grinned at James. "I did good, right?"
Kara studied him, thoughtful. Batman stayed silent, sidelined.
James dissolved the dimension. "Doomsday dies if you hit its weak point."
