The palace courtyard in Fresta was creepily quiet. All the cheering soldiers were now standing like silent statues. Their faces were blank and their eyes were empty. A moment ago they were full of passion, but now they were just empty puppets.
Imu looked down from the tower. He had turned chaos into perfect quiet order. He was a little bit proud like an artist who had just finished a his painting.
After a few moments, A weird laughter started in the courtyard. First, the commander on the balcony laughed, then everyone in the crowd started laughing together. It was a scary sound like robots trying to be happy.
"I feel… amazing" the commander shouted, but his eyes were still empty.
"This is real power" a young woman yelled with a big smile. "I feel like I can do anything"
All the people started saying how strong and happy they felt.
'How sad,' Imu thought 'They are so weak I can make them feel anything I want.'
He made them all go quiet again with another thought. Then, he focused on the commander. He needed to find Jiron. He didn't have to ask. He could just take the information from the commander's mind.
Where is Jiron?
Imu looked through the commander's memories. He saw Jiron giving speeches and making plans.
'He's not here,' Imu thought. The Five Elders' information was already old.
But it was a small problem. There were three other kingdoms. Jiron had to be in one of them.
Imu turned into a shadow and flew away, leaving his new puppet army behind. He flew super-fast across the sea.
His next stop was the Lvneel Kingdom. He landed in a shipyard and used his Haki to find the revolutionary base in an old fort. It was full of thousands of soldiers.
This time, he just walked right in. The guards saw him and froze becoming his puppets before they could even shout a warning. He walked into the training area.
"Domi Reversi," he said.
All the soldiers stopped training. The whole fort was now his territory.
Imu flew away again.
The Sortis Kingdom was full of mountains and factories. The revolutionaries had turned the big mines into their bases. Imu landed on a tall mountain and looked down.
He walked into the biggest factory. It was loud with the sound of furnaces and hammers. He just looked at the workers and soldiers.
"Domi Reversi."
All the noise stopped. Thousands of workers turned to him with empty eyes. He took the information from the boss's mind and got more bad news. Jiron was here, but that was a months ago. After that, no one knew where he went.
There was only one kingdom left: the Balsamico Kingdom.
He flew there even faster. He didn't even land. He just floated in the air above the main base, which was in a big mansion. He used his power on the whole area.
"Domi Reversi."
Everyone in the mansion and the fields became his puppet. He went inside. The leaders of the base were in a meeting. They all stood up and turned to him.
He read their minds at once. The answer was the worst one yet. Jiron had never even come to this kingdom. The Five Elders were completely wrong.
Imu stood alone in the big, silent room. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon. In just a few hours, he had taken over four whole kingdoms with tens of thousands of soldiers.
But he had failed to find the one person he was looking for.
He got very, very angry. The air in the room felt heavy.
"Gorosei…" he whispered, and his voice was cold and dangerous. "Useless… idiots."
He had trusted them, and they had sent him on a wild goose chase. He knew he had to do everything himself.
Imu tried to find Jiron but jiron already left north blue long time ago and currently is in new world with a karasu.
