Chapter 106: Talent Surpassing Pseudo-Legendaries
Ryu called for Celebi, but there was no reply. He was completely bewildered. Why would Celebi give him so many gifts only to leave him stranded at the top of a giant tree to starve?
He even considered just jumping off and starting over, but falling to his death would hurt, and he was reluctant to waste such a good starting panel.

A sudden sound startled him. He turned to see a dazed-looking Pelipper standing beside him. He immediately turned to run, but then he stopped, realizing something was strange about this Pokémon.
Its eyes held no malice, and its size was... normal. At 1.2 meters tall, it was a standard Pelipper for the Alliance Era. In the Monster Era he had just left, a Pelipper of this size would have been considered a runt.

"...Thank you. I'm fine," Ryu shook his head, then leaned in and gave the fluffy Pokémon a big hug. The warmth of its downy feathers made him feel a little better.
The Pelipper asked if he wanted a tour of the city. Ryu nodded. He didn't know what else to do.
As they flew, Ryu studied his panel, thinking about his future. As a Sceptile, his only real advantage was his Speed. But now, with Celebi's enhancement and the inherited move Extreme Speed, his potential was off the charts, perhaps even surpassing that of regular pseudo-legendaries.
But what should I do? Find a trainer? Challenge the Pokémon League? It all seems so boring...
He looked down at his panel again. Time Ripple...
His spirit immediately perked up. That's right! This world had the power to travel through time! Celebi could travel through time, and Dialga could control it. If he found either of them, he could see Liz again! He could even bring her to this peaceful era!
At that moment, his gloomy eyes suddenly lit up with a new purpose. He could reincarnate infinitely. If he couldn't find them in this life, he would try in the next. One day, he would find them.
A city with familiar, modern architecture came into view. He had indeed reincarnated into the Alliance Era.
