TRISTAN'S POV
Damon felt her frail wrist and passed the stethoscope over her chest again. He listened to her heartbeat for a minute before offering them a grim nod.
"She'll be alright."
Tristan frowned. "She still looks dead."
Damon chuckled, replacing the device back into his pocket. "Dehydration and malnutrition will do that to you." He arranged the thick blanket around her peaceful form. "Also stress and anxiety."
Tristan looked affronted. "What's she got to be worried about? She got mated to the two hottest, most eligible werewolves in the country."
Damon pretended to think about it. "Alright, let's see. She got kidnapped from her wedding by a couple of strangers who are surprisingly her mate, discovered she's secretly not human, watched her almost-husband almost get decapitated by one of her surprise-mates." His eyes were wide. "Do I have to go on?"
