Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 : Speech!!

After these two incidents, both the Black and Red sides fell silent.

Ren and Shiho spent every day buried in the lab doing research. After work, they ate and chatted together, not like a couple, but like a family who had lived together for a long time.

Detective Conan World, Two months later, above the black mist.

"Finally, you're here. A lot happened this time." Detective Ren pushed up his glasses.

"This time, no new members joined." Pirate Ren looked around.

"Only a day passed, and you're here again?" Naruto Ren looked a little incredulous.

"Two months should have passed since I was here, but I've had Valentine's Day twice." Detective Ren sighed.

"How old are you now?"

"I turned 19 a long time ago. I should still be 19." Detective Ren replied.

"Damn, you're the immortal one among us, still taking advantage of the world's bugs." Akame Ren's eyes widened.

"Let's not talk about that. Here, these are flat glasses I invented. They can be used like a phone, with maps, zoom, and all kinds of functions." Detective Ren handed over three pairs of glasses.

"You really brought these in?" Naruto Ren couldn't believe it.

"We've traveled through countless worlds and lived on it for over a decade. Do you think those worlds were fake?" Detective Ren asked.

"This…"

"This space connects us. It's basically the only bridge between worlds. If that's the case, why can't we bring things in?" Detective Ren spoke seriously.

"Damn, how did you bring these in? I can't bring Teigu here." Akame Ren frowned in disbelief.

"It's simple. I treat these as part of myself, so I can bring them in."

"That's it?"

"Didn't you notice? My outfit is pajamas," Detective Ren said, glancing at the three others' standard costumes with a hint of complaint.

"Really is. This is Detective, love it, love it," Naruto Ren said, clearly fond of the glasses. Unlike the other Rens, he had no hobbies besides training.

"First, let's shake hands and share," Pirate Ren said, extending his hand.

The four touched hands briefly, and their memories began to merge, each gaining a boost in abilities.

"Huh? What's going on with you? You've got power now, but in these two events, why did you have zero presence?" Pirate Ren looked at Detective Ren.

Unlike Detective Ren, he was a Celestial Dragon and used to showing off in public.

"You're even more impressive than me," Akame Ren gave a thumbs up. Detective Ren looked at the three's different experiences, yet he remained unshakable, indulging in youthful pure love.

"Your memories are like a movie to me. Those who know my memories should understand—I developed the Cardinal system. With a little more effort, I can play games in your worldviews. I recommend you explore and help me improve the background," Detective Ren adjusted his glasses.

"Excellent," Akame Ren finally said after thinking for a while. Honestly, if people from the Akame world had the same intelligence as the Conan world, he wouldn't even get a chance to rise up.

"We should be able to manage it. A month has passed in Detective Conan's world, three days on my side, one day in Naruto's world, and five days in Akame's," Pirate Ren recalled the recent memories.

"I'll work extra hours. With your boosts, I can stay up all night without any problem," Detective Ren said, powering himself up.

"Looks like this is about to wrap up," Naruto Ren said with a smile.

"What's wrong? Things not going well?" Akame Ren asked, though his side was progressing smoothly.

"Sigh, the Uchiha and Senju are about to fight again," Naruto Ren said, feeling a bit weary.

Fish-Man Island, Ryugu Palace.

Ren had been living here for over a month. Today, he woke up wearing black-framed glasses.

"Lord Ren." Otohime came into Ren's room, extremely excited, holding out a document to him.

"What's this?" Ren asked softly.

"These are my plans for humans and fishmen to live together in harmony. I want to present them at the world conference." Otohime smiled foolishly, as if she could already see the beautiful future.

"No, it's too idealistic. Go back and rewrite it." Ren evaluated seriously after reading.

"Ah… okay." Otohime instantly drooped, her usually raised fishtail lowering in disappointment.

After sending Otohime away, Ren looked at his guards. His observation haki spread over the entire Fishman Island.

"Lord Ren, the CP has decided to provide you with information about the slaves." The guard said respectfully.

"Good. Next, we go to the New World to eliminate them." Ren said calmly, stating a set goal.

"Yes."

"Also, after this incident, Fishman Island will fall under my control."

"Yes." The guard left.

"I need to deal with a few fishmen." Ren sensed intense malice; it seemed they were ready to strike.

He left Ryugu Castle and went straight to the plaza. The woman who had been pleading for peaceful coexistence, her pregnant body swaying, was giving a speech to the mermaids and fishmen.

"This world is probably sick." Ren clenched his fist. He remembered the holy land and the beautiful future Otohime had described.

At that moment, a series of bullets tilted toward Otohime. Time moved too fast; she couldn't react. In that instant, she thought of her unborn child and whispered an apology in her heart.

Ren didn't speak. He flashed in front of Otohime, blocking all the bullets with a single swing.

Then, locking onto his target, he went to Hody's side and cut him in half with one strike.

After that, he killed all the fishmen there. To avoid damaging Fishman Island, Ren held back considerably, finishing each opponent with a single close-range strike.

The whole process took less than ten seconds. When he returned to the plaza, no one present had realized what had happened.

The guards noticed it. They realized that Ren's strength had grown again.

Normally, after reaching a certain level, one would need to challenge strong opponents to get stronger, but Ren seemed to have broken that rule.

Ren stood in front of Otohime and spoke. "If you think you're from a superior race, you're welcome to step forward and challenge me. But if you just play dirty behind the scenes, your fate will be the same as those fishmen."

His voice was not loud, yet it echoed across the entire square. News of Hody and the other fishmen's deaths spread quickly.

The mermaids and fishmen looked at Ren with a hint of fear. After all, he had disappeared for less than ten seconds and had already defeated so many fishmen warriors.

"To those who are willing to trust Otohime, I, Donquixote Ren, a Celestial Dragon, promise you that if you go to the sea, you will no longer be treated as slaves. Reporters here, take my words and share them with the entire sea," Ren continued.

His words stirred the calm ocean. The mermaids grew more devoted to Otohime, and with Ren's previous actions regarding the mermaid slaves, they were even more accepting of everything.

The reporters were thrilled to hear Ren's declaration. Clearly, this was a major scoop. They immediately sent the news to their headquarters and global newspapers.

Not even Fishman Island could escape their reach.

Before, Otohime had only dreamed of the future. But now, she felt that this dream could truly come true. Her eyes grew determined, and her words became confident.
