Fairy Tail was officially established, and Victor prepared a lavish welcome feast for the new members. At the same time, he also gave everyone a general lesson on the knowledge of magic circles and handed out copies of The Basic Principles of Magic Circles and Rune Carving, requiring them to master the contents within two months.
After the feast, Victor, as expected, kept Draco behind.
"Dre… Master, what is it?" Draco asked a little nervously. He didn't know why, but he felt an inexplicable sense of fear when he faced Victor.
"Why are you so nervous? I'm not a monster, I'm not going to eat you!" Victor said with a chuckle, then put his hand on Draco's shoulder. "I just wanted to have a chat with you! I told you, once you're in Fairy Tail, we're all family, we're all friends! But at the feast just now, I saw you were sitting alone with your food on the side. What were you thinking about?"
"I…" Draco was speechless for a moment, but after a short silence, he said, "I'm the only Slytherin here."
"This has nothing to do with houses!" Victor replied with a smile. "Did you forget what I said before the feast? Support each other, rely on each other, and trust each other. Being in different houses doesn't stop you from talking to others."
Draco fell silent again, unsure of how to deal with this awkward situation. But Victor's smile grew wider, as the Draco in front of him reminded him of Gajeel and Juvia when they first joined the guild. When they first left Phantom Lord and joined Fairy Tail, many people were wary of them, but they eventually gained everyone's recognition through their own actions!
So, in order to guide this young Slytherin who was being led astray by his family, Victor suddenly asked another question. "Draco, do you have friends?"
"Of course I do!" Draco immediately replied. "Goyle and Crabbe, they're my friends!"
"Are they followers, or are they friends?" Victor asked knowingly. "Perhaps I should ask it this way: do you think they value you, Draco, or do they value the surname Malfoy?"
Upon hearing this question, Draco lowered his head in silence, unable to respond.
"You're usually arrogant and overbearing, but I can see that you're a smart person, and your character isn't bad, otherwise, you wouldn't have passed the final illusion test," Victor continued. "Some things take time. Don't hold yourself to such a high standard. No one is born noble. The Killing Curse won't spare you just because your name is Malfoy, and it certainly won't necessarily kill a Muggle just because they're the target."
"So, think about it! And remember, Fairy Tail will always be a family!"
With that, Victor patted Draco on the shoulder, stood up, and prepared to leave. But in the next moment, Draco called out to him.
"Master, my… my family…" Draco stood up, his face filled with an expression of wanting to speak but not being able to.
Victor smiled at his expression and comforted him. "Don't worry too much about the mission your family gave you. Do what you think is right!"
Watching Victor disappear in front of him, Draco fell silent again. After a while, he slowly came to his senses and murmured, "So the Master knew all along! Dad, it's not that I don't want to complete the mission you gave me. It's just that the Master is a freak…"
Time slowly passed, and a month quickly went by.
In this month, ever since Fairy Tail was established, the so-called guild seemed to have suddenly vanished from Hogwarts. There were very few rumors about them circulating in the school. The reason for this was that the new members were being forced by Victor to go into seclusion and study.
In order to urge the new guild members to quickly lay a good foundation for training magic circles, Victor had ordered everyone to go to the guild for focused study and special training on magic circles after their classes in the afternoon. Dinner would be provided by the guild!
In the evening, Harry, Ron, Neville, and Ginny all came out of the Room of Requirement, looking exhausted.
"Oh my God, when is this going to end?!" Ron complained with a look of hopelessness. "We have classes during the day, and we have to come to the guild at night. I feel like all I do is study besides eating and sleeping!"
"Don't forget, we still haven't finished copying the school rules ten times as punishment from Professor McGonagall!" Harry added, his eyes lifeless.
"I actually think it's alright!" Neville said from the side. He didn't look very tired, just a little listless from a night of studying. "Before, I didn't know what to do with the extra time after class, and even now that each class is extended to 45 minutes, we still only have about three hours of class a day. So I think it's a pretty good idea to use the rest of the time to do homework and study!"
Harry and Ron looked at their classmate, whose theoretical grades in Herbology and Potions were among the best in their year, and decided not to talk to him anymore.
However, as the four young Gryffindors were on their way back to their house common room to rest, a very strange voice suddenly entered Harry's ears.
"Blood… I smell blood!!!"
"Let me tear you apart, let me kill you!!!"
"Kill! Kill!! Kill!!!"
Hearing the bone-chilling, mysterious whispers, Harry's face instantly changed, and he instinctively asked, "What was that sound?!" He looked around nervously, but saw nothing, and the source of the sound seemed to be coming from inside the walls. So he pressed his ear against the wall to listen carefully.
But Ron and the others, who didn't hear the sound, looked at him in confusion, not understanding why he had suddenly become so paranoid. So Ron asked, "Harry, what's wrong?"
"Did you guys hear a sound?" Harry asked nervously, turning his head.
Ron, Neville, and Ginny looked at each other and all shook their heads.
"It's time… Kill!!!" The mysterious whisper came again and quickly moved along the wall. Hearing the sound, Harry immediately shouted anxiously, "It's moving! It wants to kill someone!"
Without another word, he ran off, following the sound. The three people behind him were still in a state of confusion, but they immediately followed him out of concern for his safety.
At the same time, in the Fairy's Abode, Hermione and Cedric were standing in front of Victor, showing off the results of their month of special training.
"Very good, Hermione took exactly two seconds, and Cedric took 1.72 seconds!" Victor nodded in satisfaction. "Now that you've both reached the standard for casting basic magic circles, you can start training on your own unique magic."
"Cedric, here's the training method for Skycraper spell!" Victor handed a thick magic book to Cedric, then handed a thinner one to Hermione. "This is a catalog and a brief introduction. You can choose a type of magic from it to train on!"
The two of them excitedly took the books in front of them. After half a year of training, they could finally learn more profound magic.
A little while later, Hermione chose the magic circle she wanted to learn.
"Sky Dragon Slayer Magic. Why do you want to choose this one?" Victor asked curiously, looking at where Hermione was pointing.
"I saw that this magic is very comprehensive. It not only gives you the ability to fly quickly, but it also has healing and support magic, and the power isn't bad either!" Hermione answered truthfully.
Indeed, among the many Dragon Slayer Magic spells, Sky Dragon Slayer Magic was not the most powerful, but it was the most comprehensive. Its abilities covered attacks, defense, and support.
"Well, since you've decided, here is the training method for Sky Dragon Slayer Magic!" Victor took out the corresponding magic book from his pocket dimension. "However, without the help of a Dragon Lacrima, it might be a bit difficult for you to train this magic, so be prepared for a tough time."
"Dragon Lacrima? What's that?" Hermione asked curiously, taking the magic book.
"A Dragon Lacrima is a treasure that passes on magical power. If you implant this crystal into your body, you can directly gain the power of Dragon Slayer Magic," Victor explained. "If you had the Dragon Lacrima for Sky Dragon Slayer Magic, you could basically skip the learning process and jump directly to the stage of how to use the power."
"It's that powerful?!" Hermione exclaimed.
"That's why they're called treasures!" Victor replied.
Just as the two of them were discussing the Dragon Lacrima, a small figure suddenly came running from a distance, shouting, "Master! Master!"
Looking over, they saw Ginny running toward them, out of breath. The three of them instinctively thought something was wrong and immediately went to meet her. Hermione was the first to speak. "Ginny, what happened?"
"Something… something happened!"
Victor frowned when he heard those words and immediately told Ginny to lead the way. A moment later, Ginny led them to a corridor on the third floor. In front of them was a very creepy scene.
Argus Filch, the caretaker of Hogwarts, and his cat, Mrs. Norris, were hanging upside down from a statue. Both were completely rigid. On the wall next to them, the words "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, enemies of the heir, beware" were written in blood. Harry, Ron, and Neville were standing in front of the wall, looking a bit at a loss.
"Oh my God! What happened here?!" Hermione asked in shock.
"I don't know. At first, Harry said he heard some strange sounds, and we followed him here, and this is what it looked like!" Neville answered, a little nervously.
"I heard some very terrifying sounds, like a snake…" Harry also began to explain from the side, slowly telling them what had happened. At the same time, he looked at Filch and Mrs. Norris, who were swinging like pendulums on the wall, and a mix of fear, confusion, and familiarity swirled in his heart.
And just as no one had figured out what had happened, Victor, who knew the original plot, had already walked up to the upside-down Filch. He first looked at the window on one side of the corridor, which vaguely reflected his face, then reached out and used Sky Magic, trying to see if he could reverse the petrification. But unfortunately, there was no reaction.
"Master, are Filch and Mrs. Norris dead?" Ron asked nervously.
"They're not dead. They've just been petrified," Victor replied calmly.
"Is it the Petrification Charm?"
"Not a charm. To be precise, it should be a curse!"
With that, Victor put Filch and Mrs. Norris down, then said to everyone present, "You all go back first. I'll handle things here!"
"And Harry, if you hear any more strange sounds, don't follow them. Inform me or one of the Heads of House immediately. This is not something you can solve!"
"Victor, what exactly happened?"
"A dangerous magical creature has been awakened!" Victor replied simply, then smiled and patted Hermione's head. "Be a good girl and go back for now! We'll talk about everything tomorrow!"
With that, he sent the young wizards, who were still in a state of infinite confusion, away.
Victor looked at Filch and Mrs. Norris on the ground and fell into deep thought. He hadn't expected that Voldemort's Horcrux, the diary, would still find a way to get into Hogwarts.
Was this the world's self-correcting force?
