"Is everyone here?" Victor asked, glancing around the common room.
"Everyone from first to third year is here!" Cho Chang nodded. She had just run through both the boys' and girls' dormitories and even asked a few of the students who could fly to call everyone back.
"Alright then, everyone, follow me!" Victor turned and walked into a mirror. The other Ravenclaws looked at each other and then followed him in, a little nervously.
After passing through the mirror, everyone instantly arrived in a brand new space. In front of them was an endless tropical rainforest. The sun was shining brightly overhead, creating a beautiful and dreamy scene with the Tyndall effect.
"Wow, where are we?" a young Ravenclaw exclaimed.
"This is an illusion, using the same magic as the pumpkin head on the first floor," Victor explained, turning to face all the Ravenclaws. "To be honest, I shouldn't be teaching all three years at once. But considering the revolving door of Defense Against the Dark Arts professors at Hogwarts, I've decided to teach all three years together. So now, let's begin our lesson. Today, we'll start by learning how to run away!"
Before the young Ravenclaws could even react, Victor waved his hand, and the first-years and second- and third-years were instantly split into two groups. A long wolf howl came from the dense bushes, and three huge creatures suddenly appeared.
"AHHH! Werewolves!!!"
"Run!!!"
The second- and third-year Ravenclaws instinctively screamed and turned to run. But unfortunately, a few of them were too scared and froze in place, and were then bitten on the neck and flung away by the werewolves.
Victor remained expressionless at this brutal scene. He turned to the first-year Ravenclaws and began to explain, "You see, these are werewolves. They are sometimes also called lycanthropes. They are humans who can turn into wolves when the full moon rises, and their condition is caused by an infection of lycanthropy. Lycanthropy is a magical disease, and current research shows that this disease can be transmitted through contact with saliva and blood. Therefore, when a transformed werewolf bites a person, the person who was bitten will also become a werewolf."
At that moment, Victor waved his hand, and a standing werewolf appeared beside him, startling the first-year Ravenclaws in front of him.
"Because of how easily lycanthropy spreads, there are quite a number of werewolves in the wizarding world today. They usually look no different from ordinary humans, but for those with more severe cases of lycanthropy, they will still have these few characteristics even in their normal human form."
At this point, the illusionary werewolf gradually changed into a human form.
"A werewolf's human form will retain some wolf-like characteristics, such as having wolf hair on certain parts of their body, canines in their mouths, and a fondness for eating raw meat. They are also generally impoverished due to their low social status, so their clothes are usually tattered, even though they wish to live like normal people!" Victor said as he pointed at the illusionary werewolf's face, mouth, and clothes.
"There are many ways to defeat a werewolf. The legendary method of using silver weapons won't kill a werewolf, but a mixture of silver dust and Dittany can be applied to a werewolf bite to make the wound 'seal,' which prevents the victim from bleeding to death.
"Werewolves don't have a magical resistance like many other magical creatures. They are only slightly stronger than humans, so most of the time, one or two spells are enough to knock them down! But werewolves are extremely fast and agile, and they only appear at night, so the key is how to hit them! I think your upperclassmen have already given you a good demonstration of this!"
As Victor was lecturing, in the distant jungle, a few more young Ravenclaws were bitten on the arm or leg by werewolves and flung away. However, some of the more strong-willed ones had already come to their senses and started to fight back with their wands, but unfortunately, none of their spells hit. And just as the second- and third-year Ravenclaws were desperately running away, a few small creatures that looked a lot like goblins suddenly blocked their way.
"So, after talking about werewolves, I'll talk about another kind of dark creature that is very similar to werewolves, the Red Caps…" Another small, shadowy figure with a blood-red hat appeared beside Victor.
And so, in this immersive and intense teaching method, two hours quickly passed.
At nine o'clock in the evening, in the Ravenclaw common room, the Ravenclaws who were in their third year or above had all received the notice and were waiting there. Just then, a ripple suddenly appeared in the new mirror in the common room, and the young Ravenclaws who had been in class came out one after another.
"What… what's wrong with you guys?" Penelope asked cautiously, but no one answered. The Ravenclaws in front of them looked as if their souls had been sucked out. They were like soulless zombies, walking with their bodies' instincts and subconscious minds.
"Third year and up, come in!" Before the upperclassmen could figure out what was wrong with their underclassmen, Victor stuck his head out of the mirror and shouted to them. And so, with an extremely nervous feeling, the upperclassmen slowly put down their books and walked into the mirror.
The next day, in the Hogwarts Great Hall, the other students suddenly saw a scene like this: the Ravenclaws had pale faces and looked listless, as if they had been completely drained.
Many people were curious about what they had gone through, but no one answered. This made many of the students think back to last year's Halloween, when half the school was knocked out.
However, just as everyone was wondering about the Ravenclaws' strange condition, another thing immediately drew their attention.
At this moment, Harry and Ron had just finished eating and were about to leave the Great Hall. But as soon as they stepped out the door, they saw a large crowd gathered in the corridor nearby, and they seemed to be looking at something. So the two of them walked over curiously. Harry asked a familiar figure in the crowd, "Neville, what's going on?"
Neville didn't say anything. Instead, he raised his finger and pointed in a direction in front of him. Harry and Ron followed the direction of his finger and saw that a text announcement made of light and shadow had suddenly appeared on the corridor wall. It read:
To all dear students of Hogwarts:

Everyone looked at the long announcement and immediately started to discuss it.
Many people were secretly eager to try out. It was no joke. Since Victor had started at Hogwarts, the various amazing magic he had publicly displayed had made people long for it.
For example, his flying magic, clone magic, illusion magic, and spirit summoning magic (referring to the farming tools that automatically tended to his garden), and so on.
In addition, with the inheritance from Ravenclaw, many people had already wanted to ask Victor to teach them magic. However, Victor often appeared and disappeared like a ghost, and many people were also too embarrassed to ask.
So now that there was an opportunity to learn the unconventional magic from Victor, it was only natural that the young wizards' minds were exceptionally active.
