Chapter 88 - The Demonic Teacher

After dealing with the ring, Victor went to the Great Hall.

Since there was only one Herbology class in the morning, it was just in time for lunch.

The Hogwarts Great Hall had undergone a huge change due to the school reforms. The long tables that once represented the four houses were gone, replaced by dozens of hexagonal wooden tables, each seating six to eight people.

Victor observed that the students from the four houses still naturally gathered in their own areas. But without the physical barrier, people would inevitably start talking to each other for various reasons.

The young Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs were the most outgoing, and many of them were already sitting together, eating and chatting. Most of the young Ravenclaws were introverted. Although they weren't proactive in socializing, they didn't reject the friendliness of other students.

However, compared to the first three houses, the young Slytherins were much more independent. But even among them, not all of them were completely obsessed with pure-blood ideals. There would still be some tsundere ones.

Looking at the lively scene in the Great Hall, Victor couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. After all, his efforts had contributed to creating such a great atmosphere at Hogwarts!

Victor happily found a random seat, but he instantly scared away the young Slytherins who were at the same table as him.

"…" Victor was speechless. Did I really scare them that much just by beating them up last term?!

He ignored the nervous Slytherins. Kururu arrived in time with a lavish feast, and the scene of ravenous students reappeared in the Great Hall.

At the same time, Gryffindor's three little ones had just finished class and arrived at the Great Hall. Hermione saw Victor devouring his food from a distance and happily jogged over to him. Harry and Ron followed behind her and immediately looked confused.

"Wasn't she just jealous yesterday? She even smashed a plate. So why is she acting like this now…" Ron said stealthily while gesturing at Hermione's smiling face nearby.

"Who knows! It was the same during the Christmas holidays. I heard from Fred that he ran into Hermione in Diagon Alley a few days into the holiday, and he said that she seemed to have gone straight to Dreyar's house!" Harry also said in a low voice, completely baffled.

While the two young Gryffindors were whispering, Hermione had already run to Victor and sat down right next to him.

"Oh, oh, Hermy!" Victor greeted her with a mouth full of food.

"Swallow what's in your mouth before you talk!" Hermione rolled her eyes, then saw something shiny on Victor's hand and asked, "Why are you wearing a ring? Where did you get it?"

There was a hint of nervousness in her tone as she spoke.

"Oh, this…" Victor swallowed his food and then began to tell them the love story between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.

By now, Harry and Ron had also sat down.

A moment later, the story was over. Hermione immediately said in amazement, "That's incredible. I can't believe Gryffindor and Ravenclaw had such a complicated relationship!"

"One was a tsundere, and the other was an honest man. When those two got together, they just couldn't express their feelings," Victor said, looking at the ring on his hand and continuing to complain. "It's no wonder it turned out this way."

"Hmm…" As soon as he said that, Harry and Ron, who were sitting next to him, nodded as if they understood.

"'Hmm,' what? You two little brats who still have your feathers growing in, what do you know about love?" Victor said sarcastically, looking at Harry and Ron. "Besides, have you finished copying the school rules?"

"Huh?!" Harry's face immediately fell when he heard the words "school rules," and he asked in surprise, "How did you know we had to copy the school rules?"

"Hogwarts is only so big. I doubt there are many people in the whole school who don't know," Victor said, taking out today's Daily Prophet and handing it to them. "Take a look. You two have completely become celebrities."

Harry and Ron immediately took the newspaper and looked at it. The front page had a huge headline that read: "Harry Potter and his classmate Ron Weasley cause the most serious magical exposure incident in nearly fifty years, raising the question of whether they are abusing their hero status." Below the headline was a large moving photo that showed Harry's face in the flying car, from a distance to up close.

"Oh my God, who took this?! We clearly pressed the Invisibility Booster button!" Ron shouted in shock.

"If the invisibility function on your car was working properly, then not so many people would have seen a car flying in the sky," Victor said with a sarcastic smile, and added, "Honestly, you two should go home and light a candle to Merlin for not getting expelled after causing such a huge mess. If you had gone through the normal procedure, you would be in Azkaban right now!"

Upon hearing that last sentence, Harry and Ron's faces instantly turned green.

"Don't scare them, you two! If they were going to Azkaban, the Ministry of Magic would have already arrested them. I heard that the Minister of Magic was sitting next to Professor Dumbledore at the feast last night!" Hermione said, patting Victor's arm and interjecting.

"Oh, my goodness! My mom is going to kill me when she sees this newspaper!" Ron slumped into his chair, his face filled with horror.

"I feel like I heard that last term!"

"You were involved last term, too!" Victor reached out and pinched Hermione's cheek, making her giggle.

And just then, a familiar sound suddenly came from above. An owl flew in through the skylight in the Great Hall, hooting, then flapped its wings a couple of times and crashed right into Ron's arms.

Victor felt that the Weasleys' only owl seemed to have poor eyesight. At the same time, he saw the letter the owl was holding in its beak and immediately looked at Ron with pity, making a strange sound. "Uh-oh…" He then covered Hermione's ears.

"What are you doing?" Hermione asked curiously, her face a little red as she grabbed Victor's hand.

Ron shakily took the Howler, swallowed, and finally mustered the courage to break the seal. The moment the seal was broken, the Howler instantly turned into a scarlet red mouth with a grimace, and a huge scolding voice echoed throughout the Great Hall.

"RON WEASLEY!"

"How dare you steal that car?! I'm so mad at you! Your father is being investigated by the Ministry of Magic, and you brought Harry with you. This is all your fault! If you don't start following the rules and stop doing outrageous things, we'll bring you home immediately."

Ron listened to the terrifying and familiar scolding and could only nod mechanically, his eyes filled with fear. But the next moment, the Howler's tone changed and it looked at Victor gently. "Thank you, Victor! Ron has been a trouble to you!"

"And Ginny, my dear, congratulations on getting into Gryffindor. Your father and I are so proud of you."

With that, the Howler stuck out its tongue at Ron and then tore itself to shreds. Ginny, who was at the table next to him, looked at her brother with a helpless expression. The entire Great Hall fell into a dead silence, and everyone stared at Ron sitting there dumbfounded.

For the next few days, the Howler Ron had received became a daily topic of conversation for the students at Hogwarts.

Time quickly came to evening. After leaving the guild headquarters, Victor returned to the common room and suddenly heard a mournful cry.

"My lord…"

"Huh?!" Victor looked over at the sound and saw a group of third-year Ravenclaws lying in various corners of the common room, looking at him weakly. He immediately said in surprise, "Whoa! What happened? Who bullied you?"

"They had two Defense Against the Dark Arts classes this afternoon, and they came back like this!"

"Hmm? Who said that?!"

"My lord, don't pretend you can't see me!" Scarlia said, pouting and looking up!

"My lord…" Cho Chang sat under a sofa, her face exhausted. "You were right. We had Defense Against the Dark Arts class this afternoon. Lockhart actually gave us a test for two consecutive classes. What is his favorite color? What are his ambitions? When is his birthday, and what is his ideal birthday gift?"

"Oh my god! It was pure torture!" At this moment, another Ravenclaw also started to interject. "In those ninety minutes, he only taught us about himself. There was nothing about defending against the Dark Arts at all…"

"Sigh… that's why I said that I should teach Defense Against the Dark Arts this year," Victor said with a sigh of empathy. "Anyone who has taken one of his classes knows that he's a complete fraud. Only his fangirls would believe him."

"My lord, when are you going to teach us?" Cho asked. "I don't want to go to Lockhart's class anymore, even though we haven't mastered the Thought Projection spell yet."

"Tell you what, I don't care if you've learned the Thought Projection spell or not. I'll go and cast the Imperius Curse on Lockhart, so you don't have to go to his Defense Against the Dark Arts classes anymore!" Victor said after thinking for a moment.

"Then when will our classes be?"

"In the evening, we'll just have it right here in the common room!" Victor said. "From 7:00 to 9:00 PM, I'll teach the first to third years. The others can come from 9:00 to 11:00 PM!"

"Then let's start now, my lord!" All the third-year Ravenclaws immediately stood up as if they had been given a shot of adrenaline.

"Aren't you going to rest?" Victor asked in surprise, looking at the young Ravenclaws who had been half-dead just a moment ago. How did they suddenly become so lively?

"We were just expressing our temporary despair about the future!" Cho said.

"All right then. Go and get all the first and second years!" Since that was the case, Victor decided to let the young Ravenclaws get familiar with his teaching style.

In fact, Victor had a nickname at Fairy Tail: the Demonic Teacher. All the wizards in the guild who had been trained by him complained endlessly. Even someone with a strong will like Erza would be a little afraid of Victor's training methods.

Although the results of the training were very good in the end, that kind of training that went from the physical to the mental was simply worse than death.

Natsu once challenged Victor without any fear of death. After losing, he was dragged into the deep mountains and old forests by Victor for special training. A month later, when the people in the guild saw him again, he had completely whitened.
