We head to sangonomiya shrine, kokomi was there waiting for us, she was talking to another resistance member and we happened to overhear them talking.
Teppei asked, "Your excellency, I couldn't help but overhear Ookubo mention something about a third party supporter? What was that about?
Kokomi answered, "Not long ago someone wrote to me saying that they wished to support the Watatsumi island resistance effort. They also gave us a great deal of supplies."
"Thanks to them we can finally start recruiting troops on the scale we need to openly confront the shogun's army on the front line"
Knowing how this turns out I skeptically asked, "Can this myster sponser be trusted?"
Kokomi scrunched up her brow, "I am not without my doubts but these supplies are a much needed lifeline for us. So lets consider them an anonymous ally"
"Naturally we shouldn't let our guard down, if you discover anything out of the ordinary, please report it to me at once."
"when will the vision hunt decree finally end?" Paimon asked
Kokomi said, "Thats the question and I'm afraid I don't have an answer. All I can say for certain is that as long as the vision hunt decree remains in force, we won't give up our fight."
"anyway, here is your assignment: I hereby appoint you as captain of the watatsumi island special operations unit, Swordfish two."
Aether nods, "So when do we take up our post?"
Kokomi answers, "The members of Swordfish two are currently on standby in a valley to the southwest, there is ronin causing trouble there, we need a unit to eliminate them."
"I have already written your appointment letter, which you'll need to show them on arrival. Once that's out of the way please lead them in ridding the area of Ronin."
We head to where swordfish two is. We were greeted by two member of the squad and led them in eliminating the ronin in the area.
Although they had some doubts about our strength we were able to convince them that we were worthy and eliminating the ronin went smoothly after that.
We report back to kokomi, she gives us a new assignment to investigate some ruins related to a god, that is often used as a transit point when transporting supplies.
After training with swordfish two we meet up with teppei at the training grounds and he tells us that he's been made the captain of his own special operations unit, Herring one.
We part ways after that, we decide to take a break before we check out the archon war ruins.
We head to the archon war ruins, we light the electro monuments, and beat the lawachurl that comes out after, just then we run in to teppei who looks noticeably older.
He coughes then says, "This was a suprise I didn't know you were the ones investigating here."
Paimon asks, "Are you alright there buddy, you're looking slightly worse for wear."
Teppei denies is, "I'm fine its nothing, I must have caught a cold a couple days ago while I was out at sea. I heard someone had just arrive on the island to investigate so I came to take a look"
Teppei keeps coughing through most of our following conversation and eventually heads back.
We head back to sangonomiya shrine
Paimon says, "Kokomi we're back! Look Gorou's here too. What happened they look serious"
Kokomi was saying, "Approximately how many people are exhibiting these symptoms?"
Gorou answers, "I haven't had the chance to do a full count yet."
Aether frowns, "Kokomi, Gorou, whats going on?"
Gorou explains, "recently some of our soldier have been showing symptoms of accelerated aging. I called them in for questioning and found out they'd privately acquired some secret weapons from our sponsor."
Kokomi frowns, "So thats why the war has been going unusually well, but risky secret weapons are not the answer. We must put a stop to it immediately. Gorou do you have one?"
Gorou shows the weapon, we take a step back in shock, "Oh dear its a fatui delusion."
Gorou gasps, "So that means our secret sponser is the fatui?"
Kokomi exclaims, "But why would the fatui do this?... There's no time. Right now we need to inform the whole army to cease using their delusions immediately."
Paimon gasps, "Wait a second speaking of soldiers with symptoms... Teppei..."
We run to check on teppei, when we finally found him his hair was all white. We tell him about the delusion but we were too late. Aether and I get mad.
We walk out and talk to kokomi. Kokomi asked us about teppei's condition, which makes Aether even more angry and I just looked away with tears in my eyes.
Kokomi nods, "I put out an order to seize all delusions." Gorou says that he's going to establish a field hospital to help, but it seems the soldier still want to use their delusions.
Kokomi says, "I gave this some thought while you were confiscating the delusions. The site of the delusion factory must be big and secluded, but close enough to a transport route to ensure the supply of raw materials."
"If we take the locations where our soldiers received thier delusions into account, I suspect the site is likely to be the cliffs near the ocean southwest of Yashiori island."
Aether replies angrily, "We must head there immediately."
Kokomi sighs, "I'm not going to stop you but please be careful.
So, after the talk me and Aether run towards the location that kokomi mentions to find the factory
We arrived at the eerie delusions factory and make our way through to the very heart of the factory beating up the fatui we met along the way.
Once we arrived we heard a mysterious voice, "You actually managed to find this place. Congratulations."
A short guy with indigo hair and red and purple attire walked out, he introduced himself as the balladeer the sixth of the fatui harbringers.
We got angry as he started mocking Teppei, but just as we were about to attack an overwhelming sense of pain appeared, making us dizzy.
As we collasped we saw the faint figure of Yae Miko walking in from the corner of our eyes.
We we next awoke we first saw the face of Yae Miko, she explained to us about her plan to go into Ei's inner worlds and convince her to abolish the vision hunt and sakoku decree.
She spoke, "In short this is the last chance to get inazuma back on track. Otherwise an eternity of darkness awaits."
She told us to get ready to fight the raiden shogun, by training in her anti raiden shogun training.
We desperately dodged the attacks and hit back the best we can and after a while we finished the training covered in sweat.
We asked Yae Miko whether we could handle the raiden shogun now which she responded immediately, "Not even close." dejected we followed her back to the shrine.
Once we arrived she turned to us, "Okay, we can talk here. You asked me about the plan. I fact I've been mulling it over for quite a long time."
She explained, "Its all too clear that the Tenryou and Kanjou commission are in some form of collusion with the fatui. Our fatui antagonist is still at large and has two commissions wrapped around their finger and is distributing delusions from the shadows."
"Unfortunately given the fatui are under the protection of two commissions and the raiden shogun it would be hard pressed to track them down. I would be easier for us to start with someone from inazuma."
"So my plan is... To incite rebellion in the Tenryou commission. I mean inciting a certain someone to betray the Tenryou commission."
"If we manage to convince her, I am quite sure we'll be able to get you another audience with the raiden shogun."
We find 'her' standing right behind us... Kujou Sara!
When she saw us she started barking commands, "Don't move a muscle! You've got some nerve showing up here in the shrine when there's an active warrant for your arrest!"
Yae miko grins, "Uh uh uh. It seems that you are forgetting this is the grand narukami shrine."
"Use of force here is stricly forbidden. Before you proceed, which of you would like to face criminal charges for dishonouring the raiden shogun?"
They stand down and sara tells her subordinates to leave, Yae starts discussing things with her.
Yae tells her that the kujou commission had betrayed the shogun, but of course Kujou sara doesn't believe it.
Yae nods like she expected this, "Three days, come back here in three days, and I will show you the evidence."
Kujou Sara agrees, "Three days? I'll be here. But if I don't see any evidence, I'll demand a formal apology for slandering the Kujou clan and also the travelers will have to come with me."
Yae smiles, "wonderful then I'll see you in three days. I look forward to it very much."
