I'm sitting in my room, playing genshin impact on my computer when I found a random pop up from my discord, it said: an invintation has been from dimensional travellers discord group. thinking it was some random new group my friends made and named something silly, I decided to click join.
*welcome Livvy members of the group say hi* 'Welcome new traveller pick your combat type' I immediately got this message from the 'owner' I figured it woud probably just be some role i'd get so i type in star/galaxy.
'good choice! now pick the world you would like to visit first!' I laugh what a silly new groupchat, i do admit the roleplay is rather fun I haven't had this much fun playing make-believe in a long while now. I obviously pick genshin impact.
Then suddenly a huge warp gate appear in my room and suck some my the stuff on my desk into it. "wait! this groupchat is for real?!" my mom notices all the ruckus "honey what's going on up there?" i panic "uhm nothing i just accidentally kicked off my laptop from the desk thats all!"
I immediately go to my phone and type, 'Uhh actually could I come back and leave tommorrow?" ding! 'request granted' the warp gate immediately vanishes off my desk and i realised i lost like half of my stuff that was on my desk.
Wow! Now that I know my newfound powers of dimensional travelling i cant wait to go into all kinds of new worlds.
A day later.
Lucky yesterday was Saturday, so today is Sunday, since i haven't got school.
Big day today! I finally get to go to the world of Genshin impact!
I still don't know how I am going to explain this to my mum though. I take out my phone and stand in the middle of my room.
I go into my discord app and find the dimension travellers discord, I type 'alright now i'm finally ready to go into the world of Genshin impact!'
immediately a portal opens in front of me, grab my bag put my phone on charge on my desk, grab a few snacks and step in.
Wow! it really is it! the world of Genshin impact I can't believe i'm really in my favourite video game world!
In the distance in see an Anemo statue of the seven, i seem to be near where the start of the game is.
I touch my hair and am suprised to find out that it turned silver and dark blue at the ends, I seem to be wearing dark navy coloured skirt with a fancy ornate croptop and detached puffy navy blue sleeves, starry earrings and twin silver galaxy bracelets, and a starry silver chinese hairpin. I name the outfit Celestial Voyage
I realise that in my field of vision there seem to be a menu just like the genshin impact game back home on earth, i click into characters, there is this little message near the top of my field of vision, *disclaimer, you cannot unlock other characters* ahh that makes sense so i'm character locked huh.
I click on my weapon, and i find i already have the apprentices notes catalyst equipped. So, i'm a catalyst user huh, thats cool, i always wanted to be a catalyst user.
I check the rest of the menu and everything seems to line up with the regular genshin menu, except instead of the genshin chat screen, i had a little discord logo, i go in and find all my regular chat groups, seems like my data transferred yay!
Just then I was attacked by the group of slimes, being a catalyst user without magic yet I had to resort to physical means to defend myself.
A slime came bouncing towards me, I tried to punch it but with my abyssmal combat skills since I was just a high school girl, the slime dodged easily.
I quickly kick at another slime, it connects, but the numbers that popped up were dissapointing. three, six. A huge anemo slime flew towards me hitting me a few times.
I was losing this fight so badly! And its only against a couple of slimes! I could only hope this isnt what its gonna be like forever and that I get cool powers later.
I punch the smaller anemo slimes that I could deal with and after a couple of minutes I finally defeated them.
Just then I hear voices, there seems to be about two people coming my way!
I think it may be the traveller and paimon! "oh wowww!" i hear a annoyingly familiar voice, i see paimon floating up, and oh no i got Aether as my traveller! I always just picked Lumine so i'm really not used to seeing aether in my cutscenes.
Paimon says, "theres a statue of the seven, hey who's that over there?" I yell out to them, "Hey! a little help here?" Aether comes over and makes quick work of the remaining slimes with his dull blade and I feel super inadequate. I walk up to them, "I'm a new companion! you are so lucky! I'm gonna join you on your journey!"
Aether looks at me suspiciously, "how do i know i can trust you" "what! I'm totally trustable look at my face don't i look like a trustable person?" he stares at me a couple more seconds and finally says, "alright" we are interupted when Paimon starts yapping about the statue of the seven. We start following Paimon towards the statue of the seven
Once we were at the statue of the seven, Aether silently touches it and a glowing anemo orb enters his body and his accessories light up anemo turquoise.
Oooh I wanna try! I go up to the statue and touch it too, a flash of anemo light and another turquoise orb floats into me, lighting up my earrings, hairpin and bracelets up with anemo.
Ooooh! I quickly check my character menu and find my character was now listed as anemo and i check my skills, I got starry swoops normal attack, galaxy vortex elemental skill and anemo meteor shower as my burst, I also have a passive skill I called Starry steps which allows me to walk on the air. Cool!
Suddenly I'm ripped out of my menu by the traveller shaking me, I look around and see several pyro slimes, I immediately get into fighting stance and swish my arm, activating starry swoops, cute little anemo stars bombard the slimes killing them, but theres more. Traveller uses palm vortex on the next swarm and i use meteor shower on the last. "good work teammate" traveller says to me.
Paimon says, " these are the anemo powers you got from the statue of the seven. Aww Paimon's so jealous! Why doesn't paimon get cool fighting powers." We keep moving on, swimming out of the little lake area.
I find a common chest, theres nothing wanderer's advice inside. I pick up a few sweet flowers and grab some eggs. I spent a few minutes chasing a squirrel until I finally caught it.
Overhead a huge dragon passes us, paimon exclaims, "wow, what is that!? There's something huge in the sky! It's headed towards the heart of the forest. We must proceed with caution."
We walk another few paces and come across a green bard talking with the same dragon we just saw
He seems to be reassuring it. And yes i knew it was barbatos and dvalin but i don't say anything
We watch the scene, but suddenly traveler's anemo powers act up and we scared the dragon and bard away.
We approached the red crystal the dragon left behind and traveler holds on to it for now
We continue to walk towards monstadt when a girl with brown hair wearing red clothing jump in front of us
"hey you! stop right there" she exclaimed. Then she stopped and introduced herself as Amber, outrider for the knights of favonius.
