We follow amber out into the clearing, she tells us about her job clearing out the hilichurl camps and we decide to help.
during the fight I felt my character level up i immediately test out my new powers with my burst, "meteor shower!" the whole camp of hilichurls was dead as a rock in in instant, woah! I'm seriously OP.
once we arrive in mondstadt city, amber gives me and Aether wind gliders, I crash ungracefully into the nearest building while traveller is gliding as smooth as a bird.
Just then huge winds started blowing and the dragon we saw earlier suddenly flew into town destroying buildings and causing havoc.
Both me and Aether are swept up by the winds into the air.
We quickly steady ourselves with our wind gilder and for once I actually managed to do it properly.
We dodge as the dragon attacks us, "how are we staying afloat like this with just wind gliders" I ask and am immediately answered by a mysterious voice, "I'm preventing your fall with the power of a thousand winds, now concentrate, see yourself grasping the winds. Harness its energy"
I concentrate real hard and start shooting our air bullets, so does traveler.
We chase off dvalin, and glide down below the clouds
Amber greets us and asks if we are hurt, then we hear a slow clap, I see a guy with and eyepatch walking up to us.
Amber introduces him as kaeya, the calvary captain.
He thanks us for our help on the behalf of the knights of favonius, and asks us to go to their headquarters.
We head towards the knights of favonius headquarters.
We are greeted by two women who introduce themselves as Jean, acting grandmaster, and lisa the librarian.
Jean welcomes us, "mondstadt welcomes you windborne travellers. I am jean acting grandmaster of the knights of favonius, and this is lisa, our resident librarian."
They explain how mondstadt's elemental sphere and leylines are all muddled up due to stormterror's attacks. They explain that they will cut off stormterror's power from the source, the four winds temples.
And so, as everyone heads towards the first temple.
We head out towards the first temple, the temple of the falcon.
Along the way I open up the wishing menu I just got though its unfortunate that I only have a weapons wishing banner.
I wish on the beginner's weapons wish and get one trilling tales of dragon slayers and a eye of perception, that I could use.
So i equip trilling talks of dragon slayers.
Once we arrive at the temple of the Falcon, Amber greets us, and we head in.
Immediately we are greeted with another set of tall double door behind the inital set of doors, we press a button on the console and the door slides open smoothly.
Then we are met with thorns on both sides of the path, Amber cries, "wow I can see so far into the temple, and then Amber lights up one of thorns bushes and I use anemo to sweep some of the fire to the other one.
We find the treasure chest on one side and a pathway on the other side. I also find a carrot and potato in the boxes next to the path
We continue forwards lighting up another bramble of thorns.
We find a hilichurl, and Amber easily shoots it down, but immediately a horn sounds.
Amber cries, "Oh no! a horn, the fighting must have got them riled up" as more hillichurls come our way. I sweep them up with a couple of starry swoops and they die really quickly.
We find chest, and another chest behind a huge false rock wall, and I get some artifacts from it.
We move foward finding more hilichurls, Amber lights them up with explosive barrels, and I sweep the rest away with my elemental skill, galaxy vortex.
We open another door and amber lights up a fire monument opening a wind current which we then rode to the top of the temple.
We find a stone of dragon's breath up there, Amber cries, "dragon's breath! Is that where the power is coming from? Great lets smash it" As we break it.
Amber chats with us a little after we finished our mission, I find a precious chest and we head to the next temple.
We meet kaeya in front of the temple of the wolf.
Once we enter Kaeya tells us, "let me show you how the knights of favonius conquer our adversaries"
Kaeya freezes the hilichurls we find and I sweep them away with galaxy vortex.
We continue in, Kaeya freezes the flamethrowers that we found blocking our path.
Aether and I deal with the slimes we found quickly.
We ride another wind current to the top of the temple
Opening a door we find a pyro slime guarding a precious chest, I break apart the hydro amber we found, dousing the slime and putting out it's fire. I kill it quickly with my normal attack.
We keep on going finding spike under a layer of water, Kaeya freezes the water and we continue forward.
We break the dragon's breath we find at the top of the temple.
Kaeya says to us, "I can take here of the rest here you go take of other things while I'm at it."
"Actually," I reply, "I think we'll stick around a little longer" I knew from the events of the game, Diluc would arrive here soon.
Kaeya sighs and turns around speaking to something behind the pillar, "there's no way hilichurls organised an ambush like this - not with their limited mental capacity"
An abyss mage floats out from behind the pillar.
"Thus YOU where behind this." Kaeya says.
Suddenly fire appear from behind us, both Traveler and Paimon gasp.
Diluc appears and bashes up the abyss mage as fast as it appeared. "Knights of Favonius, always so inefficient." he says, Kaeya claps slowly again, " agree to disagree but your involvement in this just made things a whole lot more interesting.
After that confrontation we head out of the temple wide eyed.
We arrive at the third temple, the temple of the Lion and are greeted by Lisa.
We enter the temple and Lisa tells us, "I guess I could give this a go" We then ride a wind current up again.
Lisa impresses us with her skill in magic, and teaches me a few tricks. I know know how to charge attack, I called it starry sweep.
Lisa charges up the electro monument we found and starts a time trial, It only took one of my meteor showers and all of the slimes were dead as a duck.
Finally after defeating some more hilichurls we ride the air current up.
Lisa explains what a vision is to the traveller, while i hum away, while use ride the puzzle in the sky.
We break the last dragon's breath and claim the last precious chest.
Lisa explains to us dvalin was once one of the four, winds except who has now turned against mondstadt, due to what lisa assums is hatred.
The storm around mondstadt dissapates and we head back towards town.
On the way I break a few ore chunks, and once we got back I went to the blacksmiths and made a mappa mare, immediately equipping it.
We went to the adverturers guild and we joined, so me and the traveller could get money by accepting commissions.
I scroll through the adventurers levels, we aready are up to collecting rewards. Then i quickly equipped a random set of artifacts.
Thats when I decided to head home for the day, I opened discord and typed in the dimensional travelers chat, 'alright I'm ready to go home now' this immediately opened up a portal and I headed home for the night.
Once I got home I checked my phone and realised only eight or so minutes have passed, as opposed to the eight or so hours I knew I had spent in genshin impact. So, minutes here must equate to hours over in teyvat.
I crashed into my bed and started scrolling videos.
After I while I decided to get up, that we I accidentally hit the spell casting move, and a gust of wind and some stars popped out.
Wow! So, my powers transfers! Heck, am I going to have sooo much fun with this!
