{Jenner's POV}
Relaxed, rested...
How long has it been since i felt this way...my body is feeling light, as if I had just awakened from a beautiful nap.
I don't understand how it happened, nor did Vi's scan show any abnormalities on me or the place.
So it must be because i grew too tired, or maybe the wine finally worked.
But my little moment of relief didn't last long, the security system sounded as the screens pulled up footage of people coming close to the premises of the CDC.
"No..." Why are they here?.
They shouldn't be here, not now.
A man with a sheriff's uniform was shouting at the camera to open the door for him, pounding at the shutters.
"no no no...just go away" I don't want to do this but...
Like he said, they have women and kids...a group of survivors.
There are so many of them.
What should I do?
He is saying that I am killing them by not opening the doors, but...
I'm...saving them now, but is this the right thing to do?.
What if this...is my fate. The one that is truly meant for me.
Maybe i need...I have to give them the better relief.
They shouldn't die outside there...to them.

I'm going to do the right thing.
It will happen anyway with or without them.
Better save as many, it will be just a second of pain, and then we all will be saved.
No more pain, no more sadness, no more helplessness.
The sheriff man was being pulled away by another woman.
I can't let them leave to the harshness outside.
I have decided...I'm going to save them, all...including myself.
I can't find a cure, but i can end their sufferings.
She won't be disappointed...will she?.
I opened it.
I took the shotgun with me, i need to make sure they are all in here before closing the gates.
It won't matter anyway if they shoot me, protocols would just be activated earlier.
But i need to make sure they aren't infected.
I don't want to meet my end as one. I want to be me when i close my eyes.

{3rd pov}
The group soon passed through the open gate and came to a wide and empty hall.
Everyone was worried about the unknown as Billy helped Daryl watch the rear for walkers that may come in from the outside.
He knew from Sasuke that no walker was inside, so he wasn't worried.
"Hello!!" Rick's shout resounded in the empty space and soon the sound of a gun's safety going off was heard from ahead.
"Anybody infected?" A Caucasian man in his forties appeared from a corner holding a shotgun aimed toward them.
"None" Rick answered with his gun ready to act but he still didn't point it at the man.
"Why are you here, and what do you want?"
"A Christmas gift, bloody hell, mate take a look outside and see why"
"We just want a chance" Rick glared at Billy then held his hand up showing that he wasn't here for troubles.
The man just looked at each of them pausing at kids, elderly and women.
"You'll submit a blood test and that's the price of admission" Nobody objected.
"If you get stuff, bring it in now, once that door is closed it stays closed"
Daryl stepped out pulling back the only bag outside and the scientist got to a panel commanding the AI named Vi to close the doors.
Nobody seemed to catch onto the previous phrase due to them just wanting to rest in a safe place.
Sasuke just held Ciri's hand with Katniss and stayed silent throughout the conversation.
He was mentally going through the infos he saw with the help of the little snake and began to categorize them.
Soon they all followed the man and separated into two groups to fit in the elevator.
The scientist man got with Rick's group first then Sasuke followed in the second lift.
The little snake slipped unnoticed on to his wrist at some point while everyone was busy and soon they all sat in a new place, taking turns to submit blood.
While in that Sasuke took the chance and glanced around, sighing in relief seeing an old man sitting with his wife on the other side, Morales tho wasn't here.
Even with all that said, he still left.
Sasuke didn't know if it's due to arrogance or ignorance, or that it's just his worry about their family clouding his judgement.
That was a man who supposedly survived overrun Atlanta, and still he took that stupid choice.
Sasuke tried but couldn't remember seeing him or his case on the TV so he thought maybe Morales wasn't in the show or died in the camp night.

A lady complained to the scientist man who had introduced himself as Dr.Jenner, saying how unnecessary this test is, as they all look clearly fine and nearly dropped from exhaustion while Jenner looked surprised before understanding how she hasn't eaten much due to anxiety about what happened to them all the previous night.
In the meantime, Sasuke slipped Billy a note detailing the things he needed to know.
He moved a little forward so no one would be able to catch the thing Billy is reading while he talked with Ciri, detailing to her what kind of place this is and what the CDC job was in their old world.
Billy leaned on a wall and put the paper on his lap, studying it without drawing attention.
The paper had a sketchy, simple map drawn on it earlier by Sasuke with the help of the little snake.
Sasuke marked the entrance and their current location on the map. While naming each section and what to expect in it.
' Every one is worrying about a fucking blood test and here he is, already having the whole layout bare...' Billy felt some fondness toward that snake...just a little.
On the other side was a note that made Billy tremble slightly, making him turn to Sasuke who glanced and nodded at him for reassurance.
Sasuke had figured that Billy was the only one with the right mindset to think this over calmly.
Anyone else and they would do something stupid.
And lastly, Sasuke's note that he would take care of things and get everyone out safe after they had their answers and him asking Billy to find time and help him gather things closely at the marked rooms in the map so it would be easy to move and store them in the shortest time possible.
"Next!" Jenner called, and Billy stood tucking the paper away.
His mind kept going in through everything, he took a deep breath...it wasn't the first time to do crazy things with Sasuke.
They merely have one day to... He shook his head.

{Amy's POV}
Jenner invited us to have dinner.
A big and warm meal with ingredients other than canned food.
There was meat, eggs and even drinks like juices and wine.
We all sat around big tables enjoying this awesome meal.
I glanced at the side, and there he was, sitting and eating silently while adding pieces of his meat to the little girl's plate. Who kept smiling at him.
She was spoiled by all in that group.
I came to notice something different.
His group centered around him, and they weren't...I don't know, clumsy.
They ate and smiled but didn't really let go like here, where everyone was laughing like everything was fine.
Like they had forgotten what we heard from the doctor, how he was the only one here.
I felt weird as Katniss smiled at me...she caught me staring didn't she?...dammit.
She isn't really his girlfriend, she said they were just close, so maybe I can just be bold about it.
I saw Sasuke get up, and he moved to sit beside Dr.Jenner who was sitting away and alone passing him a full glass.
They talked, but no one can really hear what they were talking about from here.
Rick Grimes tapped his spoon on the cup and had us remember to thank the one who was the reason for us to have this meal. Doctor Jenner.
And of course Shane didn't filter his words and straight out started asking the man about what happened here and to everyone who ^isn't here^.
He asked the right thing, but this jackass just can't use kind words.
"Your friend was asking the same here" Jenner said, and we all looked toward Sasuke who was looking at Shane with that unreadable expression of his.
I don't know how to feel hearing how every worker here had left at some point for their families, those who hadn't, choosed to...commit suicide when things became hard.
Not wanting to leave this place and face what was waiting outside.
Of course...that asshole just had to make the man say those things in front of everyone including kids.
I now understand that look Sasuke gave him, it was a stupid thing for Shane to ask that loudly.
This doctor was the only one left because he was hoping for something, that was the answer he gave to Andrea as she asked him.
After cleaning the tables we soon followed the doc to another place, He was talking about how most power in the institution is down and the housing area is closed so we can only use the resting rooms around, they were comfy enough.
I didn't care about anything else when i heard that there is hot water, hot water and the room Sasuke goes to.

"Where were you?" Billy asked, sitting beside Duan who was reading a comic.
Heh, Morgan you sneaky bastard...
"I took a look around, i'm going to have my bath" i waved and walked to the shower area.
Taking out my clothes, I opened the tap letting warm water wash over me.
I have tons of things going through my head, our group had grown, with people who aren't...i don't know how to put it, didn't experience many things to be on the right track here.
Especially now, everyone was buzzing like it's over and they are safe.
I don't blame them honestly, it was heavy on nerves how death was looming over their heads out there.
And now they are in a safe place with full stomachs and a safe real roof over their heads. everyone wants it to last, even me...
But we don't have enough fuel, and this place usurps it like water in great quantities to keep it running.
I have many things to confirm with Jenner, i need to use every remaining hour to reach my goal no matter what.
I was about to reach for a shampoo but i stopped, letting one kunai slip to my palm keeping it hidden and tied the towel to my waist.
Someone is coming, and i know it wasn't one of the two who were outside, They left?
I tensed, but then i didn't even know how to react, i was too confused about how to deal with this and she just slipped her hands around my waist, pressing her body to my back, soft...
' Move fucker, it's not the time for this...'
"Mind if I join?" Her small soft hand crept down to my pelvis, removing the towel before closing on the head of the now my awakened junior, carresing it gently.
I swear, this is a hundred times more satisfying than looting a fucking military outpost but...
"Why are you here?...Katniss" I turned to her and the scene didn't help in calming my head.
I swear, i was planning to have every minute in this place counted for but...guess a few hours enjoying this is okay?.
"What do you think? A Sneaky blondie was on her way to you...bad for her, she was caught by Dale. You like it?" She said as she started getting naked in a very good way.
"I do, but you know it isn't the time...hahh, i have—" I really love it but i decided to hear my upper head, there's just so much at stake and i can't waste this opportunity to find the answer.
Yet this mesmerizing girl just tiptoed and pressed those soft red lips, giving me the feel of them. Sweet...
"Shuush, I know...but this thing is too eager, Let me help you, enjoy yourself first before going to do whatever important thing you have to."
Pecking my chin, she started going down leaving a trail of lipsticks on my chest and abs until she was on her knees looking up at me with a cute smirk while trying to trap it between her soft white melons before diving in with wetness and a warmth worth my life.
I instinctively reached my hand to her soft hair and closed my eyes blissfully.
