"It's them, they are the cause of this" an old man whispered to his wife, a whisper that was loud enough for multiple people around to hear it in this silence.
His wife followed his line of sight and saw the young man with the sword far ahead talking to the little girl who was sitting atop the humvee with the archer girl.
"What do they have to do with this?" A young man nearby asked, confused.
That guy with the sword just saved most of them here.
"Don't you get it? He's a bad omen, from the moment he showed up here this morning...everything went wrong.
he started a fight then started talking about stupid ideas and saying how we are gonna die, he is bad luck, his people...we were doing just fine before they showed up and now we were almost killed" The man whose age was around dale's started going on letting all his frustration and fears out.
He still remembers that kid talking about how bad they and their camp were, and here they are now, attacked.
"You sure wanna go on this old man ? If i remember right, he is the one who saved your wife. Now we are just going to blame him for what? Existing?" Another man said, the attack made him scared sure, but it wasn't to the point of just trying to find a fault in someone else.
"You don't get it. Tell me...how much since we moved to living in her?,
have we been attacked at any point in those two months? No, but the moment he was near here, a geek attacked the morning nearly taking the kids.
Few hours here and we are attacked by dozens of those geeks, what next ? I don't want to be near him and his people, they are a bad omen i'm tell-"
His voice was cut on his throat as the said man he was badmouthing turned and started walking toward them with another bearded adult man holding few bottles of water.
"Hey, i know that was hard for you all. here, cool yourself a bit first, if someone around is injured or something, tell us now.
And i would like to ask for the help of a few here to move the corpses away so we can set a temporary resting area in the clear so people can lie down a bit until we figure something out after the sunrise" Sasuke spoke while helping Billy to distribute the water.
Some people here looked at him with guilty eyes and he didn't know why.
He just noted them and ignored it, leaving to another group nearby where Glenn and Jim were resting.
"I don't know what has gotten into you, but please stop it old man, this isn't right...i don't want to be talking bad behind the back of the person who saved my and my girlfriend's life"
The young man took the bottle, his girl's hand and moved away to another spot, helping Billy who was making a seating area for the kids and elderly here.
"Sure, i am the villain here, you will regret not listening to me sooner rather than later" The old man stood and took his wife away with him who was having mixed feelings, convinced with what he knows.

"Thanks for lending it to me" Jim who was leaning on a car with Glenn and T-Dog spoke to Sasuke giving back the gun to him.
He wasn't used to one, and he knew he wasted a whole magazine just to kill two walkers, but this thing gave a safe feeling.

"I'm happy to see you guys safe. Daryl told me what happened to you man." Taking it back Sasuke said, remembering hearing that Glenn was abducted.
"Yea haha, just a big misunderstanding. I'm grateful for what you guys did here to our people...really"
"We did what we should, i will leave you now to rest, Take care" patting him Sasuke turned, walking back to the RV where Billy was standing beside Dale.
Rick, who was with his family nearby saw him and walked over, giving him a thankful hug before returning while Shane nodded at him.
He still doesn't like the sword guy, but Shane can't deny his skill and reliability he adds to their group.
"Billy, a moment will you" Sasuke waved at the others sitting in the RV, he honestly didn't expect many to thank him with hugs and all.
"Sure, what now?" Every time Sasuke asked for a moment alone, Billy knew he would be leaving soon. And sure...
"Katniss and the little girls are resting in the humvee, i will be going for the lake, so can you keep an eye out for them?"
"Lake? What for..."
"I've got some water tanks empty, we are leaving soon, and i didn't get the chance to fill them, so yeah, that, and i need to take a look" Sasuke wishpered to him in low voice.
"Morgan can keep the lookout, i'm going with you"
"I'll be heading there at my fastest old man, go rest a bit you were running all the way up here" Sasuke said, turning to leave just for Billy to grab his shoulder remembering something.
"Wait a moment, don't tell me you still..." He turned to the humvee and called for Katniss much to Sasuke's confusion and the few nearby.
"What?" She asked tilting her head out from the window.
"Did he sleep when i was away ?" He asked and Sasuke rubbed his face knowing what was to come.
"No"
"Are you fucking out of your mind?" Billy turned to glare at him furiously.
"I'm okay-"
"Okay my fucking ass! This is the third night straight for you without sleeping...and now you still wanna head to some place? Get your ass to lay somewhere before i knock you out myself."
Sasuke waved to Katniss to stay in the car, one of them giving a lecture was enough.
"I will, after doing what i need to do, half an hour and i will be back to sleep" he leaned
"Billy, you know i can't find another chance to fucking unseal and fill them. Not in front of others" he whispered and turned to leave.
"Then i'm coming along, i don't care if you fucking flew ahead, Morgan! Watch the girls will ya, i'm going with him"
"Alright, stay safe"
Rick turned to morgan asking him if what he heard was true.
While Dale and others in the RV looked concerned hearing Billy's scoldings earlier.
"The morning you left the county, he came soon after to see you, but you were already on the road...he was the only one capable in the complex, so he probably was on the watch that night. Later he had a run with Katniss to loot the outpost and retrieved those two Humvees, then he went with Billy after an hour to do the same with the hospital.
I told you we ran from a horde that was closing on us, then we found the spot near here to camp yesterday, he was on watch-duty and i and Billy were supposed to take turns by midnight."
Morgan said, shaking his head and feeling like shit as he now caught on how the boy didn't rest at all since then.
"Didn't wake us up to take the shift until dawn when Billy called me up to have breakfast and contact you...he later left with Daryl and here we are."
A nearby young man named William, sitting beside his tired sleeping girlfriend tightened his fist as he shot a glare toward the old man sleeping somewhere far.
No one here knew that some people were blaming the guy who apparently should be the one lying down and not those lazy fucks who never contributed much.
He felt both growing respect and guilt toward the man named Sasuke, and he decided it was time to stop hiding behind others.
While the others were each comforting their loved ones and busy with their own thoughts and exhaution, Sasuke and Billy reached the lake after killing two wandering walkers.
"I swear you are gonna be my end boy, no more pulling this madness, you sleep when the time is to sleep...i and Morgan and everyone else can take care of the watch just fine"
Billy said watching him stretch a hand forward and boom, with a big puff of smoke, a whole water tank materialized like...nah this was magic.
He never ceased to be amazed no matter how many times he saw this.
"I get it, seriously i'm fine, i'm used to resting whenever necessary, anyway...you can take a dip or something. It's safe and this thing will fill itself. I just need to store it after closing the lid."
Sasuke said pushing the tank forward after covering the lid with a web so no fish is to be imprisoned there.
The tank went deep under water as it started gulping down water around like a black hole.
It was full after some time and Sasuke followed it underwater, closed the lid, and then did his hand-seals taking it back to the storage before repeating the process.
Soon all the 14 tanks on him were filled to the brim, and even the gallons and such.
The water here is safe for cooking as long as it is boiled.
"Let's go" after changing to a dry set of clothes they turned to leave.
The way back was calmer as Billy shared the full story about what happened to them earlier when searching for Merle.
He then kept on detailing to Sasuke about the armored vehicles he saw, such as the tanks, military trucks and Humvees.
"There were some machine guns too, but the streets were swarmed with walkers, which i recorded too as you asked"
"Thank you, so...what do you think? About the nursery and the weapons" Sasuke asked him, he himself didn't know what to do with the people in the nursery home.
"It's dangerous, the nursery is safe for now...we need to first fix our problem before anything else, Now go get your fucking sleep. There's still few hours before sunrise."
Sasuke just waved at him and moved to the top of the RV after taking Dale's permission to lay in there.
He caressed the little white snake on his wrist before cancelling the summon.
It was small now but would grow in time, coming time, when he would be needing it to help him.
