"War Game?"
The Elf Girl's lips parted slightly; she had never expected Roy to be thinking of that.
In Orario, when the conflict between two Familias becomes irreconcilable or for other reasons making war unavoidable, a War Game is held, with rules decided by the participants.
To put it simply, two Familias choose a place to fight, the winner takes all, plundering everything from the opponent, and can even send the opponent's Head God back to Heaven.
Ryuu's sky-blue eyes glared at Roy. "Do you have some misunderstanding about my abilities?"
No matter how weak the Rudora Familia was, it still had several hundred people. For her to fight a War Game against them alone, was this revenge, or was she just throwing her life away?
Roy knew what the Elf Girl was worried about and said calmly, "You don't need to worry about the combat power issue. At a critical moment, I naturally have a way."
The biggest cheat for a Transmigrator was information asymmetry! With countless pieces of intelligence, it was too easy for him to find help.
If he was truly pushed, he could always sell the red-eyed rabbit to the Freya Familia early and let the Freya Familia take action. Ten Rudora Familias combined would all die!
But the risk was a bit high. The Goddess of Beauty's charm was not to be trifled with; he would be controlled at first sight. He did not want to become the shame of Transmigrators…
Ryuu felt like she was going crazy. Ever since meeting Roy, she had been led by the nose the entire time.
"Trust me!"
Roy looked at the Elf Girl seriously, with no hint of joking on his face, his voice deep.
Looking at Roy's serious face, Ryuu felt a strong sense of loneliness from him, as if no one in the entire world could understand him.
Having lost all her companions, she felt a sense of empathy.
The two of them were like orphans abandoned by the world, hiding in a dark corner, licking their wounds alone.
"Alright."
The Elf Girl asked, "Then how can you guarantee they will agree to a War Game?"
"They will definitely agree!"
Roy said confidently. As half a troublemaker, he knew the Gods' virtues very well. The Gods in Orario were divided into the Lawful Faction and the Chaotic Faction. The Lawful Faction, needless to say, was willing to abide by the rules of the lower world and live peacefully.
The Chaotic Faction would only retain the most basic bottom line—not using Divine Power; otherwise, they acted as they pleased.
At the end of the day, Familias were just organizations established by Gods for entertainment. Gods could decide the development direction of their Familias. Some engaged in Underground City exploration, some forged weapons, some liked farming, and some liked being villains, deliberately going against the mainstream…
Suddenly encountering such an interesting thing, Roy did not believe that Lord Rudra, the Head God of the Familia, could resist.
Even if he resisted, Roy had several backup plans. Anyway, there was always a plan suitable for the Darkness Familia babies.
"People cannot die in a War Game."
"That's for War Games with ordinary Familias. The Dark Faction is another matter."
The two asked and answered, until finally, Ryuu was speechless. She realized that Roy was not boasting. This young man was extremely knowledgeable about the situation in Orario. Where did his intelligence come from to be so detailed?
The two chatted as they headed to the Guild Headquarters.
Taking a shortcut, as they entered a small alley, the Elf Girl suddenly stopped. "Stop!"
Roy silently retreated, shielding Ryuu in front of him.
The Elf Girl's face was cold, her vigilant eyes fixed on a dark bend five meters ahead. She said coldly, "Hiding your head and showing your tail, get out!"
A ghost-like figure stood there, completely wrapped in a black robe, with hands wearing patterned gloves, appearing very mysterious. "Gale…"
Ryuu questioned, "Who are you?"
The black-robed man said faintly, "There's no need to inquire about my identity. The monster that appeared in the Underground City—Zagnate, information about it must not be disclosed to anyone. If you abide by the agreement, we will let you go. Otherwise, all those who know will die!"
Ryuu's pupils contracted. Zagnate!
The black-robed man said, "Do you understand?"
Ryuu's beautiful eyebrows furrowed. This did not seem like the style of the Dark Faction. Was this someone from the Guild?
"Cough! Cough!"
Roy coughed twice, interrupting the black-robed man. He couldn't stand it; this old geezer was quite good at pretending.
The visitor was none other than the "Sage" Fels.
Roy smiled, "Wait, are you threatening us, or are you asking us to keep it a secret?"
Fels remained silent. He wanted to be tough, but the other party clearly would not accept it.
Seeing Fels's silence, Roy smiled.
As the administrator of Orario, the Guild possessed many privileges. A tall tree catches the wind; to avoid causing suspicion from other forces and Familias, they voluntarily gave up military power.
Guild staff did not have the Divine Blessing, and Fels was the only private soldier of the Great God Uranus.
Out of respect for the "Sage's" magical attainments and Fels's LV.4 strength, Roy maintained sufficient respect, but for him to threaten them, he was not qualified enough!
Although he had lived for eight hundred years, Fels's ability value had already been fixed at LV.4. If they actually fought, it was debatable whether he could defeat Ryuu, who had been fighting for years.
"You are…"
Fels finally noticed the young man behind the Elf Girl. He did not match any of the high-level Adventurers in his impression. What was going on?
"My identity isn't important. I'll ask you again, are you threatening us, or are you requesting us?" Roy seemed to have grasped the other party's weakness.
The Guild wanted to conceal the existence of Zagnate.
The conditions for Zagnate's appearance were not complicated; just throw a few hundred bombs into the lower levels, and it would be done.
One who possesses a sharp weapon will have the desire to kill!
If other Adventurers knew this information, they would definitely trap their enemies to death. It was not hard to imagine how lively the Underground City would be in the future.
The Guild had to block the news.
Then, asking for help required the attitude of asking for help!
Even if the Great God Uranus chose to take a risk, using the Guild's connections to have other high-level Familias come and control them, if Roy and Ryuu shouted on the street, the information about Zagnate would quickly spread throughout Orario.
The initiative in this matter was in their hands!
After a moment of stalemate, Fels finally gave in and said helplessly, "It is a request."
Roy showed a triumphant smile. "You are from the Guild. Even if it's a request, then as an exchange, it's not too much for us to ask for a small favor, is it?"
"What do you want?" Fels was stunned.
This matter completely exceeded their expectations. Ryuu suddenly went to the Guild, and they were afraid that Ryuu was going to make the information about Zagnate public, so he rushed over to stop her, but he didn't expect it to be so tricky.
Watching the young man cornering this mysterious person step by step, taking the initiative, the Elf Girl gained a new understanding of this young man's quick mind.
Roy gestured with his index finger and thumb, smiling, "The Guild turns a blind eye to our upcoming actions, and then gives us a little convenience."
