Chapter 11 - First Entering the Dungeon

"War Game!!"

Compared to the Adventurers and Guild staff who were too shocked to speak, the Gods who often flirted with pretty young girls in the hall let out an excited roar.

For the Gods who came down to seek entertainment, this was one of their most exciting events: two Familia engaging in mutual combat according to the rules they set.

When they heard those words, it felt as if they were about to reach a climax, and the faces of many Gods flushed red.

"Wait, my Gods, don't be so fanatical." Remel watched as the many Gods seemed ready to seal the deal on this matter.

Remel was on the verge of tears. He must have left home without checking the almanac today to be stuck with such a mess. Other staff members looked at him with pity.

Remel looked at Lione, "Miss Lione, Adventurer requests can only be for monsters, materials, and rescue missions, not bounties on Adventurers."

In fact, the Guild also offers bounties on some heinous villains who endanger public order.

However, Adventurer requests and Guild bounties are two different systems with significant differences. The latter requires the Guild to pay, and a Guild without much power isn't willing to provoke too many villains unless they harm the Guild's interests.

Otherwise, it's just a symbolic bounty, with an amount so low that even dogs would shake their heads at it.

Lione's 80 million falis, isn't a lot, but it isn't a little either; it mainly depends on who you compare it to.

Each weapon in the hands of the Loki Familia's three executives is worth over 100 million, but for other Adventurers, it's undoubtedly a huge sum. Roy once helped a shop owner scam people; a Village Good Sword worth 500,000 falis could trick a large number of LV.1 rookies.

Suddenly raising the bounty on the Rudra Familia to 80 million falis would make even LV.5 Adventurers tempted.

Orario might be drenched in blood.

Facing Remel's continuous persuasion, Lione was unmoved. She just wanted the Rudra Familia to die, and whether it was an Adventurer request or a bounty didn't matter.

"Gale!"

Just as Remel was in a difficult situation, a plump, obese male Elf jogged down from the second floor.

The Elves in the hall averted their gaze in disgust, and Lione also suppressed her feeling of nausea.

The Guild Master, Royman Mardil!

As an Elf, after gaining the highest power in the Guild, his luxurious life, lavish spending, discrimination against half-Elves, and excessive eating caused him to become obese. He was cursed by countless people as the "Guild's Pig" and seen as a disgrace by Elves.

"We can add this money to the bounty on the Rudra Familia, but this is an exception, not to be repeated!" Royman said solemnly, trying to display his authority, but combined with his exaggerated, pig-like obese body, it gave people a very comical feeling.

According to the rules, they couldn't do this. The Guild cared more about its image; if anyone could add money to bounty quests, it would turn into an assassination list.

But since that great God had spoken, all rules had to step aside.

Royman looked at Lione with surprise and doubt. How exactly did she convince the great God, Uranus?

Having received a satisfactory answer, Lione left the 80 million falis receipt and turned to leave.

Roy, hidden in the crowd, also quietly retreated.

But everyone knew that this storm had just begun. The Rudra Familia had used some unknown means to destroy the Astrea Familia.

A starved camel is still bigger than a horse. What would be the final outcome of the Astrea Familia's counterattack?

Lione and Roy met in a secluded alley. She asked, "What do we do next?"

"Wait!"

Roy replied. His plan wasn't complicated; Lione simply underestimated the prestige of her own Familia.

The Astrea Familia often helped the weak and suppressed the strong, maintaining order in Orario with the Ganesha Familia, and contributed greatly during the "Great Struggle" two years ago.

Even five years later in the original timeline, during the great war with the Freya Familia, the moment Lione appeared, the residents and Adventurers of Orario were moved.

With their entire Familia annihilated, they would use the accumulated reputation of the Familia to create a tragic image, gaining everyone's sympathy.

Then, with 80 million falis, the combination of anger and profit would be enough to make Orario's Adventurers besiege the Rudra Familia. The opponents would either be hunted to death or agree to a War Game and be dealt with once and for all.

"Then I'll be going!"

This plan needed time to ferment, and there was nothing they could do for now. Roy waved his hand and left.

"Where are you going?"

Lione glared. If this scoundrel ran off, would she have to deal with the Rudra Familia alone?

Roy turned his head slightly and smiled, "Don't think of me that way. I'm just going to the Underground City for a bit!"

"???" Looking at Roy's dashing back, Lione realized she couldn't keep up with his thoughts, and she needed to return to the Star Garden to report to her God.

If Roy saw the Elf Girl's expression at that moment, he would definitely associate it with an old person, a phone, and a subway.

The Guild Headquarters wasn't far from Babel Tower. A spacious plaza appeared in Roy's eyes.

He and Lione had come to the Guild Headquarters, and many people had seen them. The Rudra Familia wouldn't receive the news that quickly, so he still had some time to mess around in the Underground City and vent his desires from the past decade or so.

Theoretically, only Adventurers registered with the Guild could enter the Underground City, but generally speaking, no fool would specifically run into the Underground City to die.

The Ganesha Familia members guarding Babel Tower and the Underground City entrance were too lazy to check everyone individually.

Roy walked with his head held high and chest out, looking like a newborn calf unafraid of a tiger, much like a new Adventurer who had just received a God's blessing and was brimming with confidence.

The old veterans around him smiled, already taking bets in their minds on how many days this foolish kid would live.

Fortunately, the Village Good Sword Roy obtained from the system came with a scabbard. Otherwise, a good sword worth hundreds of thousands in the hands of a rookie might tempt someone.

The Ganesha Familia member frowned, wanting to remind the other party, but in the end, it turned into a sigh. They had seen such things too many times, and people become numb.

The moment he entered the Underground City, the naive expression on Roy's face vanished without a trace.

Although he had been in Orario for over half a month, this was his first time entering the Underground City.

Things were different now. He had received the system's blessing and held the Village Good Sword + Magic Sword + Magic Boots.

Roy had to go to the Underground City to play around.

The first floor of the Underground City consisted of stone-walled passages. The light blue walls and ceiling filled the entire field of vision. A natural labyrinth with no visible sky, it extended endlessly in all directions.

The stone walls were made of an unknown substance similar to magic stones, emitting faint phosphorescence, illuminating the surroundings like lamps. There was no sun, yet it was as bright as day.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The wall in front of Roy suddenly shattered, and three or four Goblins leaped out. They had green skin, pointed ears, and brown pupils glowing with fierce light.

They charged towards Roy.
