Weeks passed by.
Xu Nian always went to visit his still in—a coma brother, he even cried sometimes seeing the cold yet warm face of his brother.
Xu Nian although dedicatingly visited his brother sometimes missed a couple visit since he was now appointed as the new temporary heir until Xu Ning awoke from his coma.
Xu Nian looked restless and tired everytime Xu Ning is mentioned.
He felt that he was the one who ruined everything.
He no longer enjoyed hunting, the woods that used to be his favourite hunting spot now turned into a white-golden pavilion filled with lotus lakes. Even a patch of spider lily was grown in the backyard of the pavilion.
Xu Nian had no hope.
Until a maid delivered an urgent message from the head doctor of the clinic.
" Young master!, the head doctor has urgently requested you to come to the clinic's room where your brother is! "
Hearing the urgency of the message Xu Nian went over to the clinic as soon as possible. While the maid went to inform Madam Xu and Mr. Xu.
Once he was there, he saw the door of the room, he felt heavy as if the other side behind it towered over him. He briefly stopped, until he heard his brother's voice. He was laughing cheerfully and talking happily with the head doctor.
That one moment of hearing him laughing joyfully made him forget all his guilt and opened the door.
Inside the room, sunlight shown upon his brother who has awaken, his brown hair looked golden, and his pale skin shown brightly. His smile made everyone in the room forget about their worries. Even Xu Nian forgot his guilt.
Only yearning and sadness overwhelmed him.
" OLDER BROTHER! " he said as he ran up to Xu Ning.
He cried and cried without stop as Xu Ning comforted him, Xu Nian stopped his crying to apologise to his Older brother.
" Older brother, this little brother is sorry.. He will never repeat it again.. "
Xu Ning couldn't help but look at Xu Nian happily, as he hugged and forgave him.
" Older brother, forgives you, I miss you "
Xu Nian hugs his older brother while he tries to hold his cry as to not wet his brother's robes.
Then suddenly the sound of a door slammed to the side catches everyone's attention.
Madam Xu runs up to Xu Ning as Xu Nian obediently moved to the side.
Xu Nian then faced his father. His stare cold and sharp.
That was until the doctor whispered something to Xu Nian and his father.
They were shocked by the revelation the doctor gave.
" Old man, looks like I have no choice with you, just don't kick him out yet, wait until he is recovered, I know you will kick him after this. Mother will be devastated even if you tell her about it. She will resent you, she will forever resent you for kicking him before she could even be a mother for him. "
Mr. Xu stayed silent, he nodded approvingly.
As madam Xu is done, the head doctor went to tell her about it. Madam Xu didn't look shocked just sad, she nodded somberly.
Everyone was happy as they spent time together.

Days passed by.
Xu Ning starts to recover although he felt some changes in him, he felt he was more hungrier.
Even on some days when the clinic offered more he was still hungry. He didn't know why but thought of it as a test and disciplined himself.
Progressively the hunger was bareable now but another problem was he felt his tooth had gotten sharper, especially on his canines.
Sometimes when checkups were done on him by a nurse, the nurse would look confused at the changing features of him.
He even noticed that the wound started to shape into a sun.
He didn't pay mind as long as he didn't hurt or do something out of his beliefs.
He lived comfortably.
Days passed slowly, birds chirping and the sky vibrantly turned into a pure blue pairing well with the green scenery outside.
Xu Ning looked on outside.
He felt happy and comfortable living outside of his before tough and tiring life.
The winds swayed his golden brown hair as he sat on a window.
His captivating blue eyes looked on the pavilion from far away.
From the clinic's view, the pavilion was far and small.
He looked somber.
He then continued on to his daily activities.
