It was already morning and the Spencer family were all busy with chores and working as fast as they could to help their precious Laura get ready for her interview.
But little did they know she wasn't awake yet.
Knock! knock! knock!
Mrs Spencer was getting restless seeing that Laura wasn't ready yet,her daughter has never been punctual since little,she hoped it would change now that she's older but it didn't.
What is she doing in there? Oh Laura! She thought
30 minutes later....
Laura came out fully dressed in a white and black corporate dress that embraced her figure, Her hair was tied into a bun and she applied little makeup to enhance her looks, she looked breathtaking as always.
She is slim and has a petite body.
Her waist is small and her figure is very tempting, more of a hourglass body.
Only men that aren't in their right senses would say she isn't beautiful.
She walked towards the kitchen and everyone were dumbfounded.
Laura is the only daughter of the Spencer family and her mom and grandfather is what she has as parents,her father passed away in an accident when she was three.
She also has an elder brother who works in a bank but doesn't pay him much as he was just a normal employee working at the counter but he works hard to support the family as well.
They were not a wealthy family but they try their best to live a good life and even put good food on the table.
But now Laura wanted to work after college to also support the family in any way.
She thought it was a good idea and her family didn't object.
Laura was very pampered and loved dearly.
"Oh my sister looks so beautiful, you'll definitely get the job looking this good." her brother joked.
Laura smiled," Of course I would,don't you trust your sister's good looks to get things done,this was a piece of cake for me."
No doubt! She was stunning and looked like her goddess.
Noah smiled and didn't say anything further,he trusted that his sister would get this job.
"Little one,take your time to chew okay?,you still have an hour left to get there so you can eat some more." her grandfather said softly.
He really loves his granddaughter so much.
"Yes grandfather is right,you can eat some more." her mother added.
"Okay mom,just one rice bowl and I will be on my way,I will be taking a bus there so I can't stay longer." Laura said softly assuring her mom she would eat so not to tigger her ulcer pains.
Laura has gone through series of traumatic events,her father's death and her ex-boyfriend's violent torments.
She suddenly stopped talking with her family and even stopped eating, she was really sad and couldn't speak up and eventually developed ulcer because of it.
But she looks rather healthy from the outside but broken on the inside.
"Don't take a bus,I will drop you off." her brother said quickly and grabbed his keys.
Oh right,my brother has a car,he definitely won't let me take the bus.
"Let Noah drop you off,that would be better." Mrs Spencer said and handed Laura a bowl of rice.
Laura thought about it and just replied with a "mm"
After eating, she bid farewell to her family and got into the car with her brother.
She chatted with her brother on the way to calm her nerves,this was her first interview she didn't want to mess it up by not looking confident.
What if she doesn't perform well?
What if she was given a difficult task to prove herself?
A lot was on Laura's mind as she started blankly at the window.
Her brother read her mind and said reassuringly," You will be just fine so relax okay?."
Laura smiled back and didn't say anything else.
When they arrived at their destination,she got off and walked towards the company.
"Here goes nothing." She said to herself and heaved a sigh.
She turned off her phone and walked in.
