Laura suddenly felt tired after the interview.
The handsome man didn't even ask her to sit throughout the interview, She felt it would be impolite to sit without being asked to.
"My legs hurt so much." Laura complained.
But that handsome was indeed looks good,Laura couldn't help but think about his face just now,he looked like a demi god.
I hope I get this job and meet him often,it would be nice to see his handsome face once in a while.
She thought inwardly and giggled to herself.
Little did she know that the handsome man was staring directly at her from his office.
It was a bit too far to see her face but he could tell she was laughing about something.
"Has she gotten the email yet." He creased his brows.
After watching her for a while, he went back to his work and lit a cigarette.
Laura walked and the streets and decided to eat with her best friend who happened to be around the area too.
"Emily where are you, let's eat together." Laura said excitedly.
Emily has been her friend since highschool and they went to the same college.
Emily is 22 years old, the same age as Laura tho she is older with months. Emily is December while Laura is November. Not too much gap anyway.
They have always treated each other so well and stayed with one another when things go bad.
They weren't rich but still take care of one another in different ways without breaking the bank.
Emily was the only friend who stoody by her when her ex boyfriend started physically abusing her.
"Really? Let's meet at our favorite restaurant." Emily said happily.
She loved eating with her best friend anytime.
10 minutes later....
Laura arrived and scanned around to find Emily,she only smiled when she saw her waving at her.
"Oh my baby,I've missed you so much." Emily smiled brightly revealing her one side dimple.
She has one dimple on her left while Laura has one on her right.
They completed each other so much,if one smiles the other has to so it would be complete.
Laura smiled back and hugged Emily tightly," I've missed you so much too."
They chatted and giggled, Laura told her about how the interview went and Emily was a bit angry that the handsome man didn't ask her best friend to sit.
"He couldn't even ask you to sit." She complained.
Laura nodded and told Emily how handsome he looked," But he looks so handsome baby,I couldn't get my eyes off him,I wonder who he is."
"Probably the CEO or something." Emily said jokingly
"Oh yes yes! Why didn't I think of that,he could be the CEO but why was he doing the interview himself. He could just appoint someone to do it for him." Laura thought about it.
She didn't think the CEO of a big company would have time for such trivial issues and appoint someone to do all that work for him.
Emily thought about it too and agreed with her.
"He probably thinks the directors are being bribed and wanted to do the job himself." Emily gave her own opinion.
"I agree with you,that must be that reason." Laura added.
That explains why that young lady was thrown out, she didn't think she would meet the CEO and probably thought it would be one director that could be seduced into giving her the job.
They didn't know what the CEO was thinking so they didn't bother analyzing it for too long.
They ordered foods and chatted happily.
Then Laura received a notification on her email. She checked it out and was stunned.
It was from Miller's Group,she has been accepted and given the job!
"Baby! I got it, I got the job!" Laura said happily.
She couldn't keep her cool,she actually got the job and she was very happy.
Emily was happy for her and hugged each other for than four times.
"Let's celebrate." Emily yelled happily.
