Scene – Jasmine's Living Room, Late Morning
Lisa stands near the window, phone pressed to her ear. Her voice is steady but carries a hint of concern.
Lisa: I'm fine, Jas. I just wanted to ask… is Hazel at your place?
Jasmine is in her living room, folding laundry while talking. The television is on in the background, muted.
Jasmine (slightly unsure): I don't know, Lisa. But all of Mikk's friends came over this morning. They went out for some shopping, I think.
Lisa (brows furrowed): But Jas, Mikk told me yesterday that Hazel was at your house last night for their school project.
Jasmine pauses, confused , thinking for a while.
Jasmine: No, No ,No , Lisa. Hazel wasn't here yesterday at all.
Lisa (quietly): Alright, Jas. I'll call you later.
Jasmine :- But , what happened ? Why are you asking that .
She ends the call and stares at her phone.
Jasmine looks at the phone confused , raises her eyebrows of uncertainty but ignores it and starts doing her work .
In Lisa's House:-
A sense of unease creeps in. She lights a cigarette with trembling fingers, paces the room for a moment, then makes another call—this time she dialed to the police station .
Episode 9 :- Missing
In the Police Station :-
The atmosphere inside the station is quiet but active .
Women 1 :- Register An Fir . My husband drinks alcohol daily and beats me . I want to give divorce to him .
The phone rings . The Sub-inspector picks up the call .
The Sub-inspector:- Hello , I am Sub-inspector Ted From the police station . How can I help you ?
Lisa (tense): Hello? I want to report a missing person. My daughter hasn't come home since yesterday. I thought she was staying at her friend's place, but I just got to know from call that she left there last night , but she had not reached here till now .
Sub-inspector (calmly): Yes, ma'am. What is your daughter's name?
Lisa: Hazel.
Sub-inspector: Her age?
Lisa: Sixteen.
Sub-inspector: Since when has she been missing?
Lisa: She was supposed to be at her friend Mikk's house. I just found out she left from there last night, but she never came home.
Sub-inspector: Alright. Do you know the address of Mikk's house?
Lisa: Yes. Lavender Road, House Number 128, Road No. 5.
Mr keery was sitting nearby and was eating lunch . He overhears the convers and walks nearby the sub-inspector.
Mr. Keery (curious): What's going on?
Sub-inspector: A woman named Lisa is reporting her daughter Hazel missing. She was last seen at her friend's house on Lavender Road.
Mr. Keery's expression hardens. His heart races as he hears the Name of Hazel . Suddenly , he snatches phone from Ted's Hand . Ted becomes quite shocked on Mr keery's reaction .
Mr. Keery (assuring): Ms. Lisa, don't worry. Hazel might still be with her friends. Wherever she is, I'll find her.
Lisa (worried) :- Okay , okay , but try to find her as soon as possible .
He ends the call and turns to the sub-inspector.
Mr. Keery: I'm going to Find Hazel . Handle everything else here. No one should know about this .
Ted nodds in affirmative, quite scared by Mr keery's action .
Mr keery :- I said Noone.
He grabs his keys and leaves the station without delay.
Scene – Outside Mikk's House, Early Afternoon
The sky is partly cloudy, the street quiet. A few bicycles rest near the sidewalk as Sharon, Mikk, Justin, Jessy, and Ivan return home. Ivan heads toward the side entrance and enters the playroom. The others go in through the front door.
Inside, Jasmine looks up from the kitchen as the kids walk in.
Jasmine: Hey, Mikk. Was Hazel with you guys?
Mikk pauses, confused , but answers without delaying .
Mikk: Hazel ? No, Mom. She said she wasn't feeling well and left to go home yesterday. She was the one who left the earliest . What happened ?
Jasmine (serious): But her mom just called. She says Hazel never came home.
Everyone stops talking. An uncomfortable silence follows. Everyone's expressions suddenly change . A sense of fear was visible in their eyes.
Sharon (shocked): Wait, what the fuck ? She left our house yesterday… how is she not home yet?
Just then, the sound of a car pulling up catches their attention. Mr. Keery enters without knocking, his tone urgent.
Mr. Keery: Everyone, come to the playroom. We need to talk , His voice becomes louder :- Right now.
Everyone Rushes towards the playroom
Scene – Playroom
Ivan is sitting on the floor, packing a bag with snacks and water bottles. He looks up, surprised to see everyone walk in behind Mr. Keery.
Ivan becomes quite shocked to see Me keery suddenly.
Ivan: Oh… hi. What's going on? Why did you all take so much time to come ? And , how are you Mr keery .
Mr. Keery (to everyone): I got a call from Hazel's mom. She says Hazel never returned home after leaving this house last night.
Ivan (confused): What? That's not possible. She said she was heading home…
Before they can discuss further, the landline phone rings from the other room.
Mikk (moving quickly): I'll get it!
He picks up the receiver.
Mikk: Hello?
Voice (on phone): Hello Mikk , How are You ?
Mikk's expression shifts. The others look toward him as a faint, eerie hum seems to fill the room, though no one can tell where it's coming from.
The tension thickens. The sinister music plays in the background.
