It was a chaotic afternoon near the military camp.
A sudden terrorist ambush had left several villagers and army personnel critically injured. The emergency sirens echoed through the valley.
Without wasting a second, Vixen Sature rushed out of the house, his medic kit slung across his back. Before leaving, he cupped Kin Ouren's face and said firmly,
> "Kin, stay inside no matter what. Don't open the door. Please."
Kin nodded obediently, watching Vixen disappear down the path toward the camp, not knowing what horror awaited at home.

Back at the house...
Trying to stay calm and useful, Kin decided to cook dinner for Vixen. He stood in the kitchen, carefully slicing vegetables with a sharp knife. But in a moment of distraction, the knife slipped.
A clean cut tore through his finger.
Blood dripped onto the chopping board.
Before he could react, the room turned ice-cold.
A sinister wind howled softly through the closed windows.
Then—
A black shadow slithered out from beneath the dining table, crawling like smoke, twisting and forming the ghastly figure of a demon.
Before Kin could scream, the entity lunged at him.
His eyes rolled back.
His body went stiff.
And the demonic presence took over.
---
Possessed, Kin rose from the floor. His body moved unnaturally, puppet-like. His lips curled into a dark grin as he whispered in an unholy tongue, muttering spells under his breath.
He shuffled toward the fridge.
His hand grabbed raw meat—uncooked, bloodied.
And he began to eat. Greedily. Wildly. Unhumanly.
Blood smeared his lips.
A giggle escaped him.
And then, a shrill laughter filled the silent house.
---
Moments later, Vixen returned.
His boots crunched against the gravel as he neared the front door.
"Kin?" he called out, his voice tired but warm.
No answer.
Worried, he fished out the spare key from his pocket and unlocked the door.
The house was strangely cold… quiet… and smelled of iron.
He stepped into the dining room.
And froze.
Kin sat at the far end of the table, back turned, slouched forward, gnawing at something.
"Kin?" Vixen stepped forward.
Kin slowly turned his head.
His mouth was soaked in blood. Raw flesh between his teeth.
Vixen's eyes widened in shock.
> "Kin…?"
"What… are you… eating?"
Kin grinned, but it wasn't Kin anymore.
His eyes were pitch black.
And behind them… something ancient and malevolent stared back.
