Having learned from her last escape experience, Akemi had clearly improved a lot. After picking up the two of them, she drove away from the police headquarters to a nearby parking lot to quickly switch cars. Her eyes lit up instantly. She quickly took out a gold coin and bit it. "This texture, this feel, there's no mistake! This gold is real!!!"
"It's all real," Dino Cavane said, afraid of being silenced. "The 15,000 Maple Leaf gold coins I stole are all here! Now they're all yours!"
"Great! We're rich!" Akemi opened the other bags to confirm they were all filled with Maple Leaf gold coins, her face beaming with uncontrollable joy.
"Can I go now?" Dino Cavane asked tentatively, looking at Shiraishi E with apprehension, very worried that he would be killed.
"Go," Shiraishi E waved his hand, signaling that he could leave.
Hearing this, Dino Cavane tentatively took a couple of steps downstairs. He looked back and, seeing that the bandit wasn't stopping him, breathed a sigh of relief. Then, he quickly went downstairs and left the building.
As he walked towards his safe house, he cursed, "Damn those two guys, how dare they sell me out to the police! I will definitely not let them off!" The thought of his two betraying subordinates made his face contort with anger.
However, he hadn't gone far when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest. Dino Cavane looked down to see a large hole in his chest. Before he could even form a thought, he collapsed to the ground.
On the roof, Shiraishi E confirmed that he was dead before putting down his sniper rifle. This left Akemi, standing by, somewhat stunned. She couldn't help but say, "You... didn't you just say you were going to let him go?"
"He looked back just now," Shiraishi E said calmly, tossing the sniper rifle aside. "That means he still had ill intentions and wanted to get the gold coins back!!"
"Th-That reason is a bit... too... too far-fetched," Akemi's brow furrowed, finding it hard to accept this explanation.
Shiraishi E could see that Akemi was still kind-hearted and couldn't accept this kind of double-cross. He said, "Looks like you don't believe my judgment... I'm willing to bet that there's a tracking device hidden in these gold coins!"
With that, Shiraishi E walked over to a bag, untied the rope, and reached inside to search. While searching, he bought a small tracking device from the Bandit Mall.
"See, look at this?" Shiraishi E took out the tracking device and tossed it to Akemi, saying righteously, "I knew this guy wasn't that honest! The wickedness of man, Akemi!"
"!!!!" Akemi caught the signal device and was completely shocked. She looked at the device in her hand, utterly stunned. "Th-This... is this for real? That guy really wanted to get the gold coins back?"
Watching Akemi's embarrassed expression, Shiraishi E was very pleased. His only regret was that the Bandit Mall couldn't customize the tracking device. If he could have made it look like a Maple Leaf gold coin, it would have been even more convincing.
"What kind of good person robs a bank?" Shiraishi E said, then walked over to another bag, reached inside, and "found" another tracking device, which he tossed to Akemi. "In this line of work, double-crossing is the norm! You were lucky to have met me right from the start! Otherwise, even if you went through all the trouble to rob a bank, your accomplices would probably have run off with the money! You'd be like a slave, working for nothing!"

She didn't even know Dino Cavane, and he had a history of robbing banks. On the other hand, Mr. Azu had always been fighting crime and never targeted innocent civilians. And I doubted Mr. Azu's judgment for a criminal like that? Sigh, I've really failed his trust!
"I'm sorry, Mr. Azu! I... I will unconditionally obey your orders next time!" Akemi quickly pledged her loyalty.

"Okay, as long as you have a way," Shiraishi E said, picking up the bags and moving them to the trunk of the car. He was about to close the trunk when he thought of something. "You don't have any ideas like 'I'll keep one Maple Leaf gold coin as a souvenir,' do you?"

Akemi nodded frantically. "I will! Starting tomorrow, I'll watch one crime movie every day!"
Shiraishi E thought for a moment and still assigned her some homework: "Then next time we meet, I want to see your movie review, at least 800 words."
"O-Okay," Akemi also knew he was doing this for her own good. Thinking that she didn't have to work now and had a lot of free time, she agreed.
