Chapter 71 - Chapter 71: The Conqueror’s Haki Scares the Celestial Dragons!

The Straw Hat Pirates, along with Kid and Law's crews, were all struck with terror.

Meanwhile, the surrounding Marines lit up with excitement upon seeing Good's arrival.

"Admiral Reckless Maniac!!!"

"Admiral Reckless Maniac is here!"

Just moments ago, they had been battered by Luffy and the others, gasping under the weight of their Haki.

Up ahead, sweat poured from Kid and Law's foreheads.

"What do we do now?"

"How should I know? An admiral's right in front of us—worse, it's the newly famed Admiral Reckless Maniac…"

The two didn't know what move to make, so instinctively, they looked toward Luffy.

But Luffy's foolish reaction left them both pale.

This guy's lack of intelligence was terrifying—there was no way he'd come up with a good idea.

Sure enough, the clueless Luffy turned to Kid and Sanji and asked, "Hey, who's that guy?"

Chopper cried out in disbelief: "Luffy, you don't even recognize him?!"

"Recognize him? Am I supposed to?" Luffy asked in confusion.

Everyone fell silent, exasperated.

Robin spoke gravely: "That man is the Navy's newly promoted fourth admiral—codenamed Admiral Reckless Maniac. Even though he's newly promoted, his power ranks above the other admirals. In such a short time, his feats have shaken the seas—defeating Shiki, then Whitebeard, and recently capturing the Yonko Kaido…"

Luffy's eyes widened. Shock hit him, but then he broke into a grin: "So that means if we beat him, we'll be strong enough to take a Yonko's place?"

Everyone's faces went blank—even his own crew couldn't believe him.

Good burst into hearty laughter. "Luffy, you're absolutely right! If you can defeat me, you won't just take a Yonko's place—you can even become Pirate King!"

Luffy's excitement spiked. "Then I challenge you!"

Good's grin widened. "Good! Challenge me!"

Everyone around them sighed at the absurdity of their conversation.

Kid and Law exchanged looks.

Why did it feel like this new admiral was just as brainless as Luffy?

Their dialogue was like listening to children.

But the instant Good struck, everyone's hearts jolted.

No one even saw the move before Luffy was sent flying.

Good drew back his fist with a chuckle. "You're still far too weak."

Then he turned to the other Supernovas.

Terror filled their faces.

Just as Good was about to move, Bartholomew Kuma appeared, stepping in front of the Straw Hats.

Without a word, he raised his paw to repel them.

But from behind, Good bellowed, "You're not allowed to save them!"

Against Kuma, Good didn't hold back—he unleashed a devastating Shock Fist.

The impact blasted Kuma into the ground, carving a crater.

Though he crawled out quickly, his expression unchanged, inside he was confused.

Good had just forbidden him from saving them—yet why were these pirates fighting Kaido's men?

It didn't make sense.

But Kuma had no time to dwell on it. He'd witnessed Good's terrifying strength when he subdued Kaido. That memory haunted him.

Before long, Kuma and Good clashed, but it was hopeless—Good's strength was overwhelming. Within minutes, Kuma was defeated.

Reluctantly, he conceded and retreated, abandoning his attempt to help the Straw Hats escape, deciding instead to wait for another chance.

Good let him go, uninterested in chasing.

And so, the chaos of the Supernova bounty hunters ended in thunderous fashion—every last one of them captured. Not a single one escaped.

It was only then that Kizaru finally arrived, leisurely standing atop a cannonball.

Seeing the captured rookies, his heart filled with relief.

As expected, Good was reliable.

Walking up to him, Kizaru clapped him on the shoulder. "Yo~! Nice work. I'll split the reward with you fifty-fifty."

Good grinned. "No need. This time there's no reward for you. Tsuru already reported to Sengoku—it was all my achievement. So the full bounty's mine."

Kizaru froze, speechless.

That meddling old hag Tsuru had really cut him out?

That meant he wouldn't get a single Berry from this mission?

Regret washed over him. Combined, these rookies were worth over a billion. If only he hadn't brought Good along!

Just then, a family of Celestial Dragons marched arrogantly up to the two admirals.

Even in front of Marine admirals, they didn't flinch, ranting and cursing.

An elder snarled, "Are you Marines eating shit? You let pirates rampage like this—do you know who we are?!"

His spoiled son kicked at the ground furiously. "And you were too slow to respond! Trash!"

Kizaru remained impassive—years of service had taught him never to cross the Celestial Dragons.

But then he noticed Good's expression twist.

An admiral… daring to glare at the Celestial Dragons?

The nobles froze, terror flashing in their eyes.

"You—you wouldn't dare! Do you want to rebel? Don't forget who we are—"

But before they could finish, Good released a tidal wave of Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror's Haki).

He angled it carefully—not to knock them unconscious, but to smother them in fear.

The pampered nobles, never exposed to such overwhelming willpower, collapsed instantly, trembling, sobbing, and snot dripping down their faces.

The mighty Celestial Dragons—reduced to quivering dogs.
