Good, facing Kaido and the two All-Stars, had eyes only for Kaido.
He completely ignored the attacks from King and Queen.
Blood poured as he continued fighting, his body constantly wounded, yet he pressed on without hesitation.
The battlefield turned red, only to be erased moments later by the devastation of their clash.
Even the so-called strongest creature, Kaido, began to bleed, a trickle running from the corner of his mouth.
It had been twenty years since the battle with Oden and his Twin Sword Style—back then, Kaido had been scarred. Now once again, he felt pain.
But this time was different. This time, fear crept into his heart.
Not far away, the Flying Six were silent, watching in shock.
Inside the encirclement, the Vice Admirals held their tongues, cursing Good in their minds—idiot, fool, brainless…
He could use his Devil Fruit abilities, and yet he refused. It was reckless to the extreme.
But still, despite themselves, they felt respect rising in their hearts for this new Admiral.
Perhaps only Good could force the Beasts Pirates into showing such expressions of disbelief.
Though he was covered in wounds, he had shaken everyone present to the core.
In the crowd, Gion bit her lip so hard it bled.
Her lips trembled downward, and she wanted to scream: "Idiot, fool, why won't you listen to me? Why won't you use your Devil Fruit powers!?"
But in the end, she said nothing.
Maybe that was what made Good different. Maybe that was why he grew so quickly.
All she could do was pray: Admiral Good, defeat Kaido!
The battle raged on, shaking the heavens and the hearts of all who watched.
Finally, under Kaido's trembling gaze, he roared, breaking his own vow, and transformed into his half-dragon, half-human form.
"Ryuseigun (Dragon Army)!"
The strike blasted Good away, his chest caving in as he vomited blood, sent flying like a kite with cut strings.
And then, as his battered body hit the ground, the system's voice rang in his mind: "Congratulations, host, replication of [Uo Uo no Mi, Blue Dragon Form] complete. Mastery progression unlocked!"
Kaido panted heavily, his body heaving.
Beside him, Queen and King looked just as worn.
For a moment, the battlefield fell into silence.
Everyone watched Good lying there, his wounds writhing as though trying to heal, but too slowly.
Gion covered her mouth, her eyes wide with dread. She had seen this before, when Good had been pushed to his limits against the Whitebeard Pirates and Red-Hair's officers.
But now it was different. No Admirals stood beside him. Which meant… Good would die.
Dark clouds rolled, and heavy rain poured down, as if the sky itself wept at the end of the battle.
Kaido looked at Good's sluggish healing and suddenly laughed, his voice echoing through the storm.
"Reckless man! I truly apologize… I've broken my promise!"
"But blame yourself. You were too naive. In a battle of life and death, only the victor is king!"
Confidence and arrogance returned to him.
"But I, Kaido, respect you. You've surpassed even Roger in my heart. You stand at the very top!"
The words were genuine. With Good lying broken, Kaido felt relief for the first time. The blade over his head vanished, and the strongest creature could breathe again.
"Good! A pity you're a Marine… so I'll send you—"
His words froze.
"What?"
"What is this!?"
King and Queen's eyes widened.
Around them, voices rose in shock.
Blue flames burned across Good's broken body, flames that even the downpour could not extinguish.
Then his voice rang out: "Kaido, you broke the rules first. Don't blame me now!"
It was as if he had been reborn. The blue flames healed his hideous wounds, not completely, but enough to let him move again.
Kaido had shattered the pact. Good would no longer restrain himself.
His body rose into the air, wrapped in azure fire.
Gasps spread across the battlefield.
King's hoarse voice cracked: "T-That… that's Marco's Phoenix flames!?"
"It's the flame of the Phoenix!"
Everyone—Marine and pirate alike—was dumbstruck.
This Admiral… had another Devil Fruit!?
But before their shock settled, Good's body began to transform within the flames.
"Finally… I've mastered it!!"
Two dragon horns sprouted from his head, his hair growing long down his back.
His muscles swelled, scales like steel plating spread across his body.
A dragon's tail unfurled, and his hands and feet turned to claws.
Dragon-Human Form!!!
The battlefield erupted.
Doflamingo staggered back, splashing through rainwater. "Impossible! Impossible!!"
Momousagi's face was pale, her voice trembling: "Admiral Good!?"
That was Kaido's Blue Dragon form!?
Had he just learned it here, in battle?
Was she the fool—or was this world insane?
Across from them, Kaido himself stood frozen, pupils shaking violently, his jaw slack.
He couldn't even find the words.
After Marco's Phoenix, now Kaido's Uo Uo no Mi, Blue Dragon form…
