He felt strangely familiar to her even though she couldn't place where she had seen him before. The air seemed to thicken as she stepped into the room, shutting the door behind her. She didn't give him the chance to start.
"I heard you need my attention" she said, her voice sharper than she intended. She went straight to the point. She wasn't in the mood for games and certainly not for small talk.
Dorian slipped his phone into his pocket and walked towards her with ease. Then, he proceeded to sit on the couch. Now that he was closer, his presence was heavier and more deliberate. "Yeah" he said calmly. "I've been wanting to speak with you and today that I got the chance, I wouldn't let it slip through my fingers. Please, do have a seat, Estelle"
Estelle's brows shot up at the sound of her name.
