Nianshen advanced into that third-tier universe. This universe was not layered infinitely, but infinitely projected.
Each world was a flawed version, imperfect compared to the one above it; the world above was a more perfected version, yet still inferior to the one even higher.
This sequence extended into a chain of worlds where the level of abstraction increased infinitely.
Nianshen observed the entire stretch. In one world within this projection chain, a certain law had awakened its sentience.
This was the very chaotic fluctuation he had sensed. After all, laws were merely codes enabling the world to function.
But now, it had undergone transformation and gained consciousness. After a brief moment, that law completed its metamorphosis. Its power remained unchanged, still capable of dominating the entire universe.
However, it now had a body taking the form of a young girl floating in chaos. Nianshen felt curious, even somewhat familiar with the existence before him.
After all, he and the girl had a similar origin. Nianshen was born from chaos as the Concept of Chaos, whereas the girl was born from law, becoming a sentient law.
Nianshen shifted his thought toward the girl. With a gentle and kind expression, he softly said:
"Do you have a name?"
The girl opened her sparkling eyes. In those eyes shimmered thousands of stars and galaxies, glowing across the entire universe.
She parted her small pink lips and said,
"No, I don't have a name. And who are you?"
Nianshen, appearing almost human, spoke tenderly to the girl.
"I am like you. Don't worry, follow me from now on. I will name you Nianhua."
Nianhua's eyes seemed a little hazy, then she agreed to Nianshen's words.
Though Nianshen hadn't intended for Nianhua to follow him, there was a sense of closeness he didn't quite understand.
Besides, Nianshen felt intrigued by her existence. Although he clearly understood the essence of Nianhua, the direction in which she might evolve felt like a formless uncertainty beyond grasp.
Nianshen looked once more at this third-tier universe. It was not a suitable place for a being like Nianhua to dwell.
He might head to a higher realm, or perhaps take Nianhua along as he wandered across this cradle universe.
By this point, Nianhua had fully grasped reality. She knew what she was doing, what she was thinking, who she was.
Above all, as an existence regarded as the mother of all things, Nianhua understood the essence of every law in the third-tier universe. But as for Nianshen—
She could not comprehend him at all. When she analyzed his being, he appeared to be an empty void. Was he truly void, or was her awareness incapable of perceiving Nianshen?
Nianhua no longer cared. What she could sense was that this person before her would not harm her.
In fact, he might even help elevate her to a higher level of power. As for Nianshen, all he cared about now was Nianhua's happiness.
Perhaps it stemmed from a fatherly feeling. After all, Nianhua was born from him.
Nianshen moved a thought and transmitted a portion of information about this cradle universe into Nianhua's divine sense, helping her understand part of him and this vast cosmos.
From within her divine sense, Nianhua felt a gentle, warm stream of information entering her. It wasn't a shocking sensation but a comforting one, helping her comprehend everything without any resistance.
At last, Nianhua saw through the essence of Nianshen. He was the Concept of Chaos essentially her father. And this place was the cradle universe, home to infinite other universes. These countless universes were divided into five tiers.
After fully digesting all the information, Nianhua's body underwent a sense of ascension a kind of bliss never experienced before spreading through her.
Nianhua had evolved in essence. She was no longer just a law-based entity of the third-tier universe, but one who could override all laws even those in a fifth-tier universe were inferior to a single cell of hers.
She named this new existence of hers the Concept of Principle, since this power originated from Nianshen's Concept of Chaos.
Thus, the name must include a part of Nianshen as well. Nianhua looked at him with delight as he led her toward some void realm.
She shouted out loud her childlike voice sweet and clear, spreading across the void.
"Father!"
At that moment, Nianshen felt a shock ripple through him. A grand sense of achievement welled up in his mind. He looked at Nianhua with a slightly peculiar gaze.
An existence like him was not devoid of emotion. On the contrary, he was extremely rich in feelings he was just curious about the world.
Toward Nianhua, it was a deeply precious bond like that between father and daughter. Nianshen patted her head.
A concept like him still couldn't express this overwhelming sense of fulfillment? Why?
Nianshen didn't bother thinking. He simply immersed himself in the feeling.
Indeed, Nianhua resembled him greatly.
