Chapter 5 - The Antithesis Concept of Chaos

At this moment, in an indeterminate place within the Cradle Universe, another conceptual entity condensed from the chaos.

He was the concept of Chaos itself. The Cradle Universe also adhered to logic, existing in a state of only true and false, existence and non-existence. Multilogical structures belonged to a higher level of mathematical arts. Beyond the bounds of the Cradle Universe.

If Nianshen could be considered the concept of Chaos representing will and emotion in a positive way then the concept of Chaos born now was the inverse side.

Nianshen, from within a second-tier universe, sensed that a being compatible with him had been born. He indifferently looked toward that indeterminate place.

Then, an invisible veil covered the second-tier universe, and both Nianshen and Nianhua vanished from that universe.

In that indeterminate place, the concept of Chaos was twisting and reshaping its body. His gaze, filled with madness, scanned everything.

With the profundity of a pure concept, he named himself Shí. Shí carried a hunger that spread throughout the Cradle Universe.

He was searching for his inverse self. Naturally, even if neither knew the other's location or form, they would always know that the other existed always sense whether their opposite presence was there or not.

Shí quietly observed for a moment, then lost interest. He moved into a nearby fifth-tier universe.

This place contained infinite strands intertwined with one another. Within each large strand existed infinite smaller strands twisted together to form it.

But perhaps, no matter how infinitely twisted, nothing really changed. Within each tangled strand lay an infinite point the smallest building block of the strand.

Every existence, every being, every planet was contained within infinite, infinite, infinite points like that. This was the infinite complexity.

Infinite connections, infinite layering.

More terrifyingly, there existed a being who was weaving infinite smaller strands out of those infinite points.

That being had surpassed the very concept of infinity and the laws that defined infinity because the structure of his body was made of infinity containing infinity containing infinity over and over without end.

Suddenly, that existence moved. His eyes, composed entirely of glowing points, gazed at Shí outside this universe.

"Greetings, sole master of all things. This servant is named Hànshēng."

Shí's gaze flickered. He was planning something. Then, from his hand, a thread of infinite information was generated.

He transmitted it into Hànshēng's divine sense. At that moment, Hànshēng endured a pain that went beyond all perception even the laws themselves could not hold it.

Hànshēng writhed in the void; his divine sense felt as if it were being torn apart, then stitched back together using utterly transcendent matter.

Once the process completed, Hànshēng, still in pain, looked at Shí with submissive eyes.

"What do you want me to do?"

Shí sneered. His intent was to create a surprise, a game for his opposite.

With a tone full of condescension, Shí said

"Your task is to use your ability to weave a net that covers the entire Cradle Universe. The method for covering has already been transmitted. You understand: if you fail, you will vanish into the void."

"But I won't let you work for nothing either..." Shí laughed grotesquely.

Then he teleported himself to the center of the Cradle Universe though the term "center" was vague. One could say the center was Shí himself.

Shí's divine sense rotated, and according to his will, the entire Cradle Universe began to warp. The infinite was now forcibly compressed by a mighty force.

It became a universe that was still infinitely compressed, but bound to a limit of just one hundred thousand trillion trillion trillion trillion light-years.

Satisfied, Shí sank into chaos, silently awaiting his opposite.

Meanwhile, Hànshēng was digesting the information from Shí. What he was grasping what now existed within his perception were conceptual points. Each conceptual point contained infinite and infinite more concepts.

An inviolable conceptual structure. Yet the gap in perception between him and beings like Shí was too vast.

Even if he understood conceptually what a "conceptual point" was, his understanding was still shallow. So even if Hànshēng could immerse himself infinitely deep, even if his thoughts alone could deduce outcomes and comprehend structures, he still could not comprehend the concept Shí had brought forth.

Every time he tried to understand it, the result was only a shapeless void. This was the wall of perception the barrier that blocked all beings from higher essence.

But to receive such a chance was still a supreme fortune. Perhaps beings of the past, even after living through infinite eras or witnessing the collapse of time itself, never received such an opportunity.

Hànshēng was overjoyed. He began weaving the net with his entire being, putting everything on the line.

And on the other side, Nianhua and Nianshen had officially begun their descent into the mortal world.
