Dreams. Dreams, at least in someone's opinion (not mine) is basically just a lot random thoughts of the subconscious merged into a weird mix at times. Obviously there will always be some people who might just relive and entire memory or have a 'normal' dream if there is any such thing in the first place. Let us take into consideration a general dream, which doesn't make that sense at first. We live know the base premise of the dream, the events that take place in the dream, where the location might be. They'll be vaguely described, but there will never be any really intricate adjective that you may be able to think of, especially if you focus on something particularly. It's like a vague memory. It's also expected since you've only seen it once. You won't be able to remember every single detail or be able to imagine it.

Yumi stood there, trying to comprehend where she might possibly be.
"Oi, why are you standing in the way- you're different." A man said. He was like the rest, and while it was difficult to differentiate between a man, woman, genderfluid in such a crowd, you could tell by the voice or rather, assume. Yumi was thrown off. They can talk. They exist here. And they can see me.
"Ah, I'm sorry!" She bowed her head respectfully, looking at his bone feet. "I'll get going..."
"Aye wait!" He grabbed her by her arm, his fingers almost stabbing into the flesh. "You look like a human... How did you get here?"
"I- I don't know, please just - let me go..." She tried to pull her hand away.
"It's not possible for someone like you to be here. This is a town for all dead people. This entire place is."
"Well, I am dead." She spoke angrily, finally pulling her arm away, staring at the man furiously.
"But you look so... fresh." He looked at her with a harrassing, lustful gaze. This was the first time in whatever time that has passed in this world for a dead man to see a dead person look so alive. It was almost.. enticing.
And he was not the only one who'd noticed her appearance. The many people that passed by didn't see or even hear. They passed along as though nothing was going on but because there were other things that they had to do. Real world lesson that is being applied here: Not everyone noticed or cares about you.
But this didn't mean that there aren't who look at you, notice you, read you. This man and some others had already noticed that Yumi was obviously different from everyone in that average cliche market sort of town.
Yumi looked around and saw how and who all were watching her. This was genuinely dangerous. It was time to do something. Anything.
She kicked the man's leg and ran ahead into the street. The man fell to the ground but two other men followed her. This was a chase. Yumi continued to run, stumbling across, foods, handlooms and the two followed. The man got up and ran behind the two men.
She entered an empty house and quickly ran up the stairs, entering into a bedroom. She quickly grabbed some linen clothing that lay on a chair, wearing it quickly and jumping out the window. She fell and got up almost immediately, making a run for the main market that lied ahead in distance. The two men continued to chase her until the bedroom. It's not like they could have jumped out a window and not have their bones broken, which was literally their body. Imagine cracking your body, and being cracked person. Get it? Hehe.
Anyways, the three men lost her amidst the crowd in the market street. She nicely blended innand merged herself into the crowd, exhaling a sigh of relief. Until...
Grr. Her stomach growled. Time to buy and eat food for dead people except.. you need currency for that...
