"Sister Yūgao, would you like to have lunch together?"
Naruto had just tugged Yūgao for a brief moment before releasing her, causing her to breathe a sigh of relief.
Because further down the street, more people would pass by.
Yūgao is a distinguished Anbu, and the sight of her walking hand in hand with a 13-year-old boy, who is also known as the Jinchūriki, is a future Seventh Hokage...
Anyway, she felt she would be embarrassed if that happened.
If Naruto hadn't let go, she would've done her best to give him a piece of her mind and even fight him.
However, Yūgao couldn't forgive Naruto that easily.
"Sister Yūgao, you really make me sad," Naruto said with a hint of disappointment, "I'm just joking with you to cheer you up."
"But you're still clearly upset with me. Is this how I'm repaid for my kindness?"
Hearing this, Yūgao felt a mix of anger and amusement.
A joke? Diverting attention?
Does that even work?
Yet she had to admit that she felt much better than before.
But then she recalled that her bad mood stemmed from Naruto's words the previous day, and now he was using this to divert her attention.
If it weren't for his status as the Seventh Hokage, she would've had to teach him a lesson... provided she could beat him.
"Okay!" Seeing her silence, Naruto made a pout and said, "It seems I have to apologize seriously!"
With that, he abruptly pulled Yūgao into an alleyway and transformed back to his true form. He pushed her into the corner and began to remove her mask.
"What are you planning to do?"
Yūgao looked at the approaching Naruto with a nervous swallow.
Wasn't it that in the future, he would refuse such invitations when he was drunk?
But she didn't remember saying anything like that yesterday. Now he was taking advantage of her again today, and she had no idea what his intentions were.
What she didn't know was that the real reason behind Naruto's genuine behavior towards her yesterday was primarily because he was aware of someone else in her heart.
Now that he felt sure Gekkō Hayate's image in Yūgao's heart had crumbled, it was the perfect opportunity for him to act.
Additionally, after last night's large meal, Naruto's resistance had decreased slightly.
Now that the beauty was before him, he felt a bit impulsive.
A confluence of factors led to his decision today.
However, Naruto wasn't concerned that his plan would fail, and he didn't push Yūgao further.
His face was only two centimeters away from hers, and she was so nervous that she closed her eyes. Then he chuckled and said, "Sister Yūgao, you look so stupid! Haha!"
Yūgao opened her eyes again to find Naruto standing quite far from her, looking at her with a teasing smile.
Her face flushed red with anger, she demanded, "Are you teasing me?"
"That's not true!" Naruto hugged Yūgao gently and said softly, "I really see that you are in a very low mood, so I just wanted to tease you. You are my sister, and I don't want you to be so unhappy all the time."
"Who am I like this because of?" Yūgao almost cried in anger.
Naruto replied aggrievedly, "You can't blame me for this. I'm not responsible for what happens to you in the future. If I had a wife as beautiful and considerate as you, even if I'm not humane, I would only hold you in the palm of my hand. Here, it's impossible to do anything to make you unhappy."
"What on earth do you mean?" Yūgao is no longer a little girl who doesn't understand the world. She glared angrily and said, "Aren't you and Hinata very affectionate? Now that you're like this, do you have the nerve to say that I am your sister?"
Even though she said this, Yūgao's heart was racing. She didn't break away from Naruto's embrace, mainly because it was futile to struggle due to their vast difference in strength. Moreover, after giving up his attachment to Hayate, Naruto's attraction to her grew stronger.
She had an unconscious notion that if Naruto were her boyfriend, everything would be perfect.
Because of this, her resistance to Naruto was not particularly strong, and she naturally wouldn't be too upset with him.
Naruto remained oblivious to this, as he had never deeply studied women's thoughts.
In his view, winning over women required only strength, ability, and a handsome appearance, followed by thick skin!
These initial traits are absolute bonus points, and he believed he had them all.
The main factor was the duration of his pursuit; even if a woman was as stubborn as an iron tree at first, she would eventually bloom and bear fruit!
"Sister Yūgao, to be honest, for a woman as beautiful and outstanding as you, it's impossible for me not to be moved."
Naruto spoke tenderly: "The reason I rejected you at first was due to family concerns. Otherwise, I would never have let you go."
Yūgao blushed and avoided eye contact, saying calmly, "But even now, you are married. That's an unchangeable fact, so don't think about it anymore."
If that were the case, she could forgive his impulsiveness.
However, she did feel a tinge of regret—it would have been better if Naruto weren't married yet.
If such an outstanding man truly set his sights on her, she would undoubtedly not be able to resist.
"Yes, it's an unchangeable fact!" Naruto sighed softly, releasing Yūgao, and added apologetically, "I'm sorry, Sister Yūgao, I was impulsive."
Yūgao bit her lip, nodded, and put her mask back on to conceal her turbulent emotions.
"I'll just pretend that what happened today never occurred, but remember, there should not be a next time." Yūgao's tone had seemingly returned to normal, and she turned to leave the alley.
Beneath the calm exterior, her heart was a tumultuous storm.
Naruto watched her go with a proud smirk. He felt that after today's encounter, Yūgao would surely be troubled.
"Oh, I almost forgot about Hinata and the others!"
Naruto snapped out of his thoughts and slapped his forehead. It was already past ten o'clock, almost time for lunch.
He figured it would be better to send a Shadow Clone to the Hokage Building to handle the situation first.
"What did you just do?"
When Naruto exited the alley, Yūgao had been waiting. She had noticed a figure flicker past, which she deduced to be one of Naruto's clones.
"Kurenai-sensei isn't feeling well. I promised to help lead her team, but I almost forgot," Naruto said nonchalantly.
Yūgao understood immediately. It was only a Genin team, so the involvement of the Seventh Hokage was too much.
The awkward episode had passed, and Yūgao accompanied Naruto to the Hokage Building with a completely altered mood.
